A method for assessing the risk of default of a corporate borrower at the monitoring stage based on a scoring assessment is proposed. This paper provides proof of the hypothesis that scoring methods for assessing credit risks can be used not only at the stage of initial assessment of a potential borrower when making a decision on lending, but also at the stage of its monitoring when accompanying a transaction. Monitoring is a periodic review of the credit quality of the corporate borrower with whom the loan agreement is concluded. This is done for the purpose of timely detection of negative signals, as well as timely response to threatening trends in the borrower's activities. Some credit institutions save on monitoring by relying on the decision-making system, considering it flawless. However, this saving can be a fatal mistake, since many things change over time during the "life" of the enterprise. This is facilitated by both external factors (political, economic) and internal (incorrect development strategy of the organization, inability to assess its own credit capabilities, unscrupulous counterparties). The proposed method is a system of automatic risk signals that have been tested for predictive ability, excluding manual procedures. The proposed solution includes markers (risk signals) that have a predictive ability above average, which can lead to a default of the corporate borrower. In addition, color marking is applied – red, yellow, green, which allows you to visualize the criticality of the identified risk signal depending on the predictive ability - a visual representation of the borrower's risks in order to facilitate interpretation. The analysis of the developed method showed how much it is possible to speed up the monitoring process, which will allow for a prompt response to the identified risk signals, as well as to predict the likely deterioration of the borrower's credit quality in the loan or guarantee portfolio without compromising the quality of risk assessment.

Podkarpackie Voivodeship is one of the regions of Poland in which the number of agritourism entities is very high. Therefore tourism plays a significant role in its development strategy. The aim of the paper is to identify the current state of agritourism and the changes that have occurred in the region in the years 2000–2016. Specific objectives are to determine the distribution of agritourism farms and their offer, together with a comprehensive analysis of the environmental and socio-economic factors, as well as the impact of the Slovak-Ukrainian border. The report was developed on the statistical materials from the Polish Central Statistical Office, Podkarpackie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Boguchwała and data collected from municipalities and district offices that is published on their websites, as well as through interviews with 100 owners of agritourism farms in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The research has shown, on the one hand, the decline in the number of farms in the region and, on the other hand, the increase in the diversity of the tourist offer of these entities. Distribution of agritourism farms is closely linked to the attractiveness of natural environment and quality of secondary tourism resources. Traditional agritourism has not yet fully used its countryside, as well as cross-border advantages of its location.

Sustainability of mining companies is of of high concern. The problem is specifically acute at companies that are monotownor monosettlement-forming. Sustainability of a mine depends in many ways on product quality and production resource-intensity. This article discusses formation of mineral quality indexes in terms of an open pit chrysotile mine. The studies took into account specific features of operation procedures implemented by each structural division of the mine. The analysis has found managerial and technological inconsistencies which affect quality and marketable product output, as well as efficiency of the mine in whole. The background for efficiency enhancement at a company is, by the authors’ opinion, consolidation of personnel subject to the single development strategy, namely: improvement of production and control efficiency, as well as use of available reserves and resources by means of better setup for production. The proposed approaches to planning mining operations and forming mineral quality allow higher quality of processing stock. In addition, a new model proposed for interaction between structural divisions of a mining company ensures improvement of general production indexes.

This paper attempts to present and discuss the outcome of the results of the key different studies and projects carried out at Salt and at Irbid historic cores.  It focuses on the executed urban heritage projects undertaken mainly by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MoTA) of Jordan in the last two decades. It discusses their different aspects through initial assessment of the loss and degradation of the cultural heritage assets of the two cities; the fragmentation and lack of connectivity between the modern and historic cores; issues of sustainability of architectural and urban heritage projects i.e. tourism planning and conservation; and reuse projects at the historic cores in relation to cultural, physical factors and development needs. It also addresses the behaviour and characteristics of the urban regeneration process in those two historic cities, starting from their documentation to examination of the different aspects of the currently adopted urban practices and policies, and their impact on the existing urban heritage, depending on the specific identity of the respective historic cores. Finally, it aims to define the main constraints and challenges for the reuse of the existing heritage fabric including the local community quality of life, while building on sustainable heritage activities accommodating tourism opportunities. This will give, at least, some indications from which we can identify a use or combination of uses, and practical steps needed for successful heritage conservation actions in Jordan, in order to retain the cultural significance of the place.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the inventories of the production enterprise and determine the directions of its development strategy. The methodology consists in the use of the following methods: grouping and comparison of indicators in the implementation of horizontal and vertical analysis, calculation of deviations by years; methods of coefficient analysis; generalization of the obtained results. The scientific novelty of the work is to improve the analysis of the production enterprise. Conclusions. The analysis of the activity of the production enterprise showed that one of the leading fields of the food industry of Ukraine is the bakery field. The researched enterprise constantly introduces new technologies into production, as a result the need for quantity of materials decreases, therefore material consumption decreases, and also quality of production increases, new markets are mastered, etc. Keywords: analysis, analytical procedures, production enterprise, profitability.

The full involvement of local communities in the tourism sector, not only benefits them and the environment in general, but also improves the quality of the tourism experience. Projects imposed from outside and motivated by the pursuit of rapid economic growth often override local needs, conditions and resources, and result in unacceptable environmental, social and cultural costs. Local involvement is crucial to sustainable and appropriate development, which meets the needs of the local people and safeguards their natural and cultural environments. Thus a local development strategy is essential, especially in disadvantaged areas and countries.

Sumenep is one of the salt producers in Indonesia. The problem experienced by farmers is the production of salt using evaporation by solar energy that depends on the weather and the low price, caused by worse business management. Salt is a potential commodity, because its market is still wide open. This research aims to develop the salt production method and development strategy of salt business in Sumenep Regency by using SWOT analysis. The result of the analysis concludes that the priority of salt development business strategy in Sumenep Regency are: i) Geoisolator technology application strategy to produce good quality of salt; ii) cooperation strategy in group mechanism to build power and increasing the bargaining value of the farmers; iii) capital strengthening strategy through partner cooperatives; iv) broader marketing management management strategies to industrial salt user sectors.

AbstractThis work presents a novel approach to the design of a decision-making system for the cluster-based optimization of an evacuation process using a Parallel bi-objective Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm (P-RCGA). The algorithm is based on the dynamic interaction of distributed processes with individual characteristics that exchange the best potential decisions among themselves through a global population. Such an approach allows the HyperVolume performance metric (HV metric) as reflected in the quality of the subset of the Pareto optimal solutions to be improved. The results of P-RCGA were compared with other well-known multi-objective genetic algorithms (e.g., -MOEA, NSGA-II, SPEA2). Moreover, P-RCGA was aggregated with the developed simulation of the behavior of human agent-rescuers in emergency through the objective functions to optimize the main parameters of the evacuation process.
