Sustainability of mining companies is of of high concern. The problem is specifically acute at companies that are monotownor monosettlement-forming. Sustainability of a mine depends in many ways on product quality and production resource-intensity. This article discusses formation of mineral quality indexes in terms of an open pit chrysotile mine. The studies took into account specific features of operation procedures implemented by each structural division of the mine. The analysis has found managerial and technological inconsistencies which affect quality and marketable product output, as well as efficiency of the mine in whole. The background for efficiency enhancement at a company is, by the authors’ opinion, consolidation of personnel subject to the single development strategy, namely: improvement of production and control efficiency, as well as use of available reserves and resources by means of better setup for production. The proposed approaches to planning mining operations and forming mineral quality allow higher quality of processing stock. In addition, a new model proposed for interaction between structural divisions of a mining company ensures improvement of general production indexes.

In this article, we show the importance of potash fertilizers produced by PJSC Uralkali, Berezniki, Perm Territory for agriculture and the economy in general. А process of potas¬sium ore underground mining is described from breaking up moment till transportation to the surface. An importance of production planning for the mining enterprise functioning is substantiated. Various levels of plan-ning, from a general production plan to a weekly and daily plans are described. The problem of such planning at PJSC Uralkali is in using only integral performance indicators, it leads to significant errors. It is proposed to use simulation modeling as a possible solution to the problem. Purpose of work. The purpose of this work is to develop a simulation model of mining operations, from the process of breaking and transporting ore to a conveyor-transport system, and to test model’s applicability for ore mining planning. Since the existing software has a number of limitations in applies to potash mines, a specialized object-oriented library allows modeling queuing systems, multi-agent and active systems is used as a basis for modeling. The limitations and as-sumptions of the model are described. Materials and methods. The model is igned as a determinis-tic automaton. The end point for ore mining process modeling is the transfer of ore to the unloading point, because further transportation of ore is not a limiting factor for mining. Conclusion. The spe-cial states of all objects of the system including mining combine – self-propelled car – unloading point and all possible transitions between them are described. A data from open sources is taken to check the adequacy of the model. Changes in the simulation results are investigated for various in-put parameters in the developed software. The simulation results are of a pulsating character due to the periodic execution of the harvester drive away. A productivity of the combine decreases with an increase in the distance traveled by a self-propelled car. The possibility of transition to a stochas-tic model is investigated. An expected decrease due to an increase in the downtime of the combine is shown. A conclusion about the applicability of the model to improve the quality of planning for un-derground potassium ore mining is made based on obtained data.

Subject. Reliability and quality of financial statements guarantee the confidence of State structures, creditors, potential investors and other stakeholders of a company. Objectives. Our purpose is to discuss theoretical and methodological aspects of reliability of financial statements, build an indicator to reveal misstatements of financial results disclosed in accounting reports, define industry specifics in determining the indicators that characterize distortions in financial performance of companies. Methods. We offer a technique to estimate the probability of distortions in financial statements of companies involved in mining operations. Results. We built an integrated index to estimate the likelihood of misstated financial result in financial statements, i.e. its overstatement, for resource development companies. The paper proves that indicators characterizing distortions in financial statements of resource development companies do not coincide with indicators of construction companies. Conclusions. The test of the proposed approach enabled not only to unveil misstatements in the financial results of companies of two economic sectors, but also to define the amount of overstatements. Furthermore, the paper proves the presence of industry specifics in choosing the indicators that characterize the misstatements of companies.

Abstract Education undertakes the era mission of serving China’s external development strategy, and provides comprehensive personnel support, constructive intellectual support, shared humanistic exchanges, and harmonios understanding of value for the interconnections among countries along the One Belt One Road (obor). Since 2014, China’s policies on “education + ‘One Belt One Road’” have been continuously refined and expanded, and a policy system of education’s services for the obor initiative has been initially formed, which providing high-quality and top-level designs for promoting the construction of obor initiative. Educational services for the obor initiative are facing new challenges and opportunities under the global covid-19 epidemic. For example, the international misunderstandings and stigmatizations bring opportunities for introspecting the construction of China’s international discourse system; the traditional cooperation modes of offline education is blocked, which brings opportunities for exploring new forms of educational services; the contents and modes of education are becoming increasingly diversified, putting forward higher requirements for the comprehensive qualities of each educational subject. In the future period of normalization of epidemic prevention and control, it is urgent to improve the quality of educational services by maintaining strategical focuses, such as deepening the educational opening up and cooperation, optimizing the personnel training concepts and teaching modes, and improving the guarantee mechanism.

Increasing the production capacity of open-pit and strip mines while ensuring the efficiency of the mining enterprise can be achieved through enhancing the quality of rock preparation prior to excavation. The use of emulsion explosives and the transition to the high-bench technology can reduce the cost of mining operations by optimizing the drilling and blasting parameters. The article reviews methods to improve the efficiency of rock preparation for extraction based on the applicable scientific and methodological principles and it proposes a method to regulate the density of emulsion explosives. Schemes are presented for calculation of drilling and blasting parameters when implementing technical measures aimed at improving the blasting quality through rock preparation for extraction in conditions of overburden and mining operations with bench height of 15 m and higher. Parameters of drilling and blasting operations on high benches are justified with differentiation of the charge density along the length of the blast hole by controlling the delivery of the gas-generating additive. A simulation has been performed and the results of pilot tests of the emulsion explosive charge density control at the Ural deposits are presented.

We have designed and built an electronic device which compares the resistance of a defined area of vacuum evaporated material with a variable resistor. When the two resistances are matched, the device automatically disconnects the primary side of the substrate transformer and stops further evaporation. This approach to controlled evaporation in conjunction with the modified guns and evaporation source permits reliably reproducible multiple Pt shadow films from a single Pt wrapped carbon point source. The reproducibility from consecutive C point sources is also reliable. Furthermore, the device we have developed permits us to select a predetermined resistance so that low contrast high-resolution shadows, heavy high contrast shadows, or any grade in between can be selected at will. The reproducibility and quality of results are demonstrated in Figures 1-4 which represent evaporations at various settings of the variable resistor.
