E-learning merupakan suatu model pembelajaran yang dibuat dalamformat digital melalui perangkat elektronik. Tujuan digunakannya E-learningdalam sistem pembelajaran adalah untuk memperluas akses pendidikan kemasyarakat luas.E-learning semakin dikenal sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah pendidikan, baik di negaranegara maju maupun di negara yangsedang berkembang. E-learning merupakan suatu teknologi pembelajaran yang yang relatif barudi Indonesia.E-learningadalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan jasa bantuan perangkatelektronika. Jadi dalam pelaksanaannya E-learning menggunakan jasa audio,video atau perangkat komputer atau kombinasi dari ketiganya. Banyak hal yang mendorong mengapa E-learning menjadi salah satu pilihanuntuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan, antara lain pesatnya fasilitas teknologiinformasi, dan perkembangan pengguna internet di dunia saat ini berkembangdengan cepat.

Currently the development of information technology has an important influence in the development of learning systems, one of which is technology in the multimedia field. Multimedia technology is an indispensable tool for the learning process. The use of text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning helps students to quickly understand learning material. Multimedia also provides opportunities for educators to develop learning methods so that they get maximum results. AMIK AKMI Baturaja is a computer college that has not fully utilized information technology in its learning, especially in the field of Multimedia. For this reason, researchers conducted this research for the development of learning at the Campus AMIK AKMI Baturaja. This study aims to produce a multimedia-based learning media at AMIK AKMI Baturaja which can be a driving force for student learning achievement. In this study using a research method of literature study, observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The media development method uses MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) which consists of six stages, namely concept (needs analysis), design (design), material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. . The result of this research is a multimedia-based learning system presented in the form of e-learning. This media is expected to have a positive influence in increasing student achievement and learning independence.

More video streaming technologies supporting distance learning systems are becoming popular among distributed network environments. In this paper, the authors develop a multimedia authoring tool for adaptive e-learning by using characterization of extended media streaming technologies. The distributed approach is based on an ontology-based model. Suppose a well-known teacher is giving a lecture/presentation to his student. Because of time constraints and other commitments, many students cannot attend. The main goal of the authors’ system is to provide a feasible method to record and represent a lecture/presentation using a browser with the windows media services. This system requires flexible support for the modeling of multimedia content models and supports possible interactivity, transfer of streams multimedia data such as audio, video, text, and annotations using network facilities. The authors propose a new approach for the modeling of reusable and adaptable multimedia content. A comprehensive system for advanced multimedia content production is also developed. This approach significantly impacts and supports the multimedia presentation authoring processes in terms of methodology and commercial aspects.

Background: The transition in the education system was parallel to the humankind and the technological revolution has been increasing issues in the education system around the globe. The shift in education system tends to understand how learning styles of students affect education quality with completely different forms of e-learning. Education 4.0 tackles society's desire in the 'innovative age'. Such education training will demonstrate the ability of the learner to use the latest technology to help the learner adapt as per the changes in society. Students in education 4.0 become more self-reliant in their own education, pressuring educators to accept a new function as administrators who might influence the learners across their education process. This paper aims to explore pandemic as a driver of enhancement of Education 4.0 in Nepal in terms of school level technology change. The paper applies the thorough review of the literature on Education 4.0 in wider perspective as well as in Nepalese context. Objective: This paper aims to analyze the enhancement of education 4.0 in Nepal in terms of review from school level technology change. Results: It is observed that education 4.0 is a very necessary reform in the education system in Nepal. The major need of the time is the upliftment of the education sector from the traditional ones and makes the implementation of education 4.0. It helps in the improvement of digital competencies in all level, and the use of digital technologies for teaching and learning. The research regarding the changes in the education system has been conducted in various nations around the globe. Conclusions: It is found that the learners mostly prefer those technology with whom they are more familiar such as use audio/video conferencing technologies rather than any other tools. Education revolution is not an easy task for the developing countries as there is a lack of local research regarding the new technologies in educational sectors. Nepal has tremendous opportunities to drastically reform education in an offer to address deep structural inequalities. Originality: This paper is original and not published anywhere else.

Presentamos dos modalidades tecnológicas de enseñanza en red: la consolidada y ampliamente utilizada tecnología video-streaming, y el futuro de la comunicación a distancia, la teleinmersión.La primera permite la transmisión de audio/vídeo por la red para que puede ser vista por el usuario en su ordenador personal, desde cualquier lugar que disponga de una conexión a red. La información será recibida y decodificada por el usuario final utilizando cualquier reproductor de los que existen en el mercado.La teleinmersión, por su parte, permite crear espacios virtuales de colaboración entre profesionales, ofreciendo entornos muy cercanos a la realidad. Esta tecnología revolucionará, sin duda, nuestros sistemas de enseñanza en los próximos años, facilitando la interacción profesor-alumno. Es evidente que la formación e-learning aporta a los alumnos y a los docentes grandes ventajas como: menores tiempos de aprendizaje, flexibilidad de horarios y de ubicación geográfica, entre otras.

Paper aims to discuss the type, role and features of feedback of online writing course within the Georgian higher educational environment. Regulations of E-Learning Education is not set yet in the country. Therefore tutors are not experienced to run ecourses in general and the role/ importance of e-feedback is almost unfamiliar to them. The paper is preliminary research which aims to reveal the tutors’ attitudes/ readiness to apply e-feedback in their further activities. The research was conducted by following methods: Interviews: teachers were asked what do they think about importance of e-feedback and to which extent are they experienced in this regard. Questioners: teachers were given information about the main writing activities (Content, Structure, Analyse, Sources, Citation…) and main type of Feedback (Negative, Positive, Group, Corrective, Preventive, Peer, Evaluative) for each activity. Questioners contain the list of different feedback tools (e-mail, Forum, Private message, Audio/video-feedback…) as well. Teachers were given the opportunity to choose the most appropriate combination of feedback tools and types of each writing activities. Data analyse and results: The research reveals that instructors would prefer FtoF communication and traditional evaluation. As for the above mentioned combinations given in questionnaires, they were choosing simplest and not specific variations. Thus, they are less aware of the type of feedbacks and did not realize the possibilities and effectiveness. The paper studies the main reasons of it and based on both theoretical approaches and analysed data gives the recommendations to tutors. The results are generalized and prepared as a guidelines for the course designers and authors

To write about technology is to write about change. In the first decade of the 21st century the rate of change of technology is greater than ever before. At a recent meeting of human resource developers using online learning, an executive of a local, national broadcaster mentioned that a year ago his organization did not know what podcasting was and that today they have managers of it. Change in technology has been recognized by almost all who live in developed countries, and it is clear to most that the only certainty about technology is that, for the foreseeable future at least, it will continue to change. Yet a conundrum appears to exist as fundamentally, little has changed about online learning or e-learning in higher education and human resource development for the past 10 or so years. Content is still predominantly text-based and the communications tools are generally limited to text. This contrasts markedly with the trend in other online experiences to include audio, video animation as well as text and graphics. This book argues that it is high time for e-learning to change. The book puts forward theoretical models designed to assist trainers, teachers, and instructional designers to create e-learning where rich media are used for content as well as interactions.

In a short span of three years, the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore witnessed significant growth in the adoption of e-learning. With the use of professors-friendly e-learning applications, NTU has been able to achieve critical mass buy-in by the academic staff when the e-learning take-up rate achieved 85% of the existing NTU course curriculum. As NTU moves on to celebrate the third year of e-learning, measures were taken with the careful design considerations that aimed to “humanize” e-learning, (i.e., make e-learning interactive and engaging with active collaborations and student learning involvement). This includes the proliferation in the use of the video talking head format synchronized with the lecture presentation, live audio-video delivery, text chat and document annotations of a lecture presentation and delivery. This chapter reviews the processes NTU adopted in adding the human touch to traditional e-learning projects and serves as a good case study for other institutions with a similar aim to achieve interactive and engaged online learning.
