Junior and Senior High School is the period for what we called unstable of “Anak Baru Gede (ABG) ”. Application of high technology like internet, is the ordinary things for students of Junior and Senior High School in Yogyakarta, which is used for doing their homework. Nevertheless, high tech is usedfor looking friends through Facebook, Twitter, etc as well. Nowadays, ABG are always curious of the new things, that lead them to inappropriate research. Even more, lack of parents concern is impacted to immoral behavior. Besides, negative environment gives the fundamental factor to immoral behavior as well. Hence, it effected to mentally and morally degradation. The objective o f this research is for identifying the role of society to ABGs mischievousness in Yogyakarta. This research is used qualitative approach with case study 's methodology to obtain data and description related to ABG s mischievousness in Yogyakarta. Next, is using Logistic Regression analysis to analyze the connection. The result is Y=4. 7451.054 X equation. Hence, it concluded that increased one unit of society's role will decrease the degree of ABG s mischievousness by 1.054.

This research explains the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI at Senior high school Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan. This Research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The data collection was through by unstructured and opened interview techniques, unattended and opened observation, and documentation techniques. For analysis and interpretation of data using steps: a). Reduction data, b). Displaying data, and c). Conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the research shows that the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI through two ways, namely through the material and using methods that reflect multicultural values.

The effort to integrate Islamic values into learning has both attracted Islamic scholars to discuss and led them to offer their models which are open to examine. The purpose of this study is to discover a hypothetical model of integration planning of Islamic values into learning sociology at SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas/Senior High School) PGII (Persatuan Guru Islam Indonesia/The Association of Indonesian Islamic Teachers) 2 Bandung. This present study employed a qualitative approach and a descriptive method in the form of case study. The data were collected using techniques namely: interviews, observation, and study documentation.  The data were analysed through several steps namely: reducing, coding, displaying, interpreting of findings, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, the planning of the integration of Islamic values in learning sociology at SMA PGII 2 Bandung was applied through the use of the 2013 curriculum instrument. This integration occurred in the level of justification models. This is to say that the Quran was used as a justification tool for the learning contents of sociology learning. In this regard, the monotheism paradigm was brought into existence in the learning phases namely beginning, middle, and end of learning.  Those phases served as efforts to create a religious atmosphere so that were designed and planned in order to reach Islamic values integration in sociology learning.

This case study aimed at investigating the role of self-efficacy in students’ recount text especially in the area of writing as one of the most difficult skills in learning English. Writing difficulties faced by the students are not only based on their cognitive skill but also their own efficacy beliefs. Three problems can be found related to self-efficacy beliefs in English writing. They are related with confidence to write anxiety, and the third problem is about the students’ interest. The participants of this study are three students from a Senior High School in Indramayu. The data were obtained from three data collection: questionnaire, writing test, and also the interview. The result of this study shows that the participants of this study perceived mastery experience accounted for the greatest proportion in their writing ability. It can be seen from how students rate their confidence and given overall feelings about the way to write successfully. Social persuasions and physiological states also were influential while working on writing. Meanwhile, the common experience did not predict too much in students' writing ability. Ultimately, the results of this research concluded that self-efficacy has an important role in students’ ability in writing.

This research scrutinized the students' perception of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the teaching and learning process. A qualitative approach as a primary framework was employed with a case study method. Twenty students were involved in this research. The information was gathered through questionnaires and interviews. Of the twenty participants, only three participated in the interview session. The results reveal that most students gave tremendous perceptions of CLIL implementation, understanding the teachers’ instructions, being comfortable at some point in the class, and enriching their vocabulary. The findings of the study are envisioned to bring light to other teachers to reflect and develop themselves. Moreover, the study aimed to contribute to the schools’ policy-making, which means undertaking the CLIL program.

One part of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia that has been difficult to carry out the education process in accordance with the Standards of the Learning Process based on the 2013 curriculum, especially in backward regions of Lebak Regency, Banten. The condition of backward regions which still has obstacles to accessing and organizing education based on the 2013 Curriculum. Thus, the successful implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in backward regions would be a challenge to implement it appropriately and in accordance with established standards. This study aims to determine constraints implementation of geography learning process based on Curriculum 2013 at senior high school. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. The principal participants in this study were Geography teachers at Senior High School who have implemented the Curriculum 2013 in backward region of Lebak Regency, Banten. Meanwhile, the participants of the base are learners and academic supervision. The research instruments are observation, interview, and document review.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Manajemen Pembelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, pada aspek: a) perencanaan pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan, b) pelaksanaan pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan, serta c) penilaian pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, guru mata pelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan serta tiga orang peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan yang ada di SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya sudah terlaksana dengan baik yang dibuktikan dengan adanya perencanaan pembelajaran yang sistematis serta sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku; pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah dilakukan dengan metode-metode pembelajaran yang variatif dimana lebih menekankan pada proses menemukan serta memecahkan masalah yang artinya peserta didik dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan mampu berinovasi dalam menghasilkan jenis-jenis prakarya dan keterampilan; serta penilaian pembelajaran yang menggunakan penilaian otentik sesuai standar kompetensi lulusan, sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Management of Craft and Entrepreneurship Learning at Public Senior High School 2 Palangka Raya, in the following aspects: a) planning for craft and entrepreneurship learning, b) implementing hand-crafted learning and entrepreneurship, and c) assessment of craft and entrepreneurship learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Sources of data in this study were the principal, curriculum vice principal, craft and entrepreneurship subject teachers as well as three students who took craft and entrepreneurship learning. The results of this study indicate that the management of craft learning and entrepreneurship in Public Senior High School 2 Palangka Raya has been carried out well, as evidenced by the existence of systematic learning planning and in accordance with applicable regulations; the implementation of learning has been carried out with varied learning methods which emphasize the process of finding and solving problems, which means that students are required to be more creative and able to innovate in producing types of crafts and skills; and learning assessment using authentic assessment according to the competency standards of graduates, attitudes, knowledge and skill. This study aims to obtain a description related to the learning of PAI by using ICT and how the impact of the use of ICT on PAI learning systems in the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative approach in the integrated Islamic high school Ummul Quro Bogor, West Java. The results showed that a) there were four stages of using ICT in the learning process, namely; emerging, applying, integrating dan transforming. PAI teachers are already at the integrating stage. In other words, ICT has been integrated into the PAI learning curriculum. b) supporting factors for the use of ICT are the existence of ICT support facilities, the availability of qualified educators, the commitment of the school to implement ICT in every PAI learning. c) Inhibiting factors in the use of ICT are aspects of financing ICT facilities require a large budget. Some elderly teachers have difficulty using ICT in the learning process. Besides, the internet network is unstable. d) The impact of the use of ICT is very significant on PAI learning process. e) the existence of ICT devices not only as a support but already as an important component in the education system. The research led to the recommendation of the need for government support in the form of concern for ICT in terms of policies, facilities, workforce, budget, and organizing training in the use of ICT for PAI teachers to improve their professionalism. Therefore, further research is suggested regarding the effectiveness of the use of ICT in the learning process of PAI.

AbstractStudents’ difficulties interpreting diagrams remain a concern in science education. Research about improving diagram comprehension has included few studies of teachers’ orchestration of language and gesture in explaining diagrams—and very few in senior high schools. Research with younger students and studies of research scientists’ practice indicate the significance of the interaction of teachers’ gesture and language in explaining visualisations. The strategic deployment of such teacher-focussed authoritative explanations has been observed in facilitating progression to more complex and symbolic representations in classroom work. However, the paucity of such research in senior high school leaves open the question of how these teachers use gesture and language in managing the challenges of explaining the intricate sub-microscopic and abstract visualisations senior high school students need to negotiate. In this paper, we outline existing studies of teachers’ use of gesture and language to explain complex images in senior high school and investigate how it is managed by two biology teachers with images of different types and complexity representing the activity of certain cell components in the early phase of cell duplication. Implications are drawn for foci of further research including the role of a metalanguage describing different types of visualisations and their affordances.
