THE USE OF ICT IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION (PAI) LEARNING AT SCHOOL: A Case Study on Integrated Islamic High School (SMA-IT) Ummul Quro Bogor

This study aims to obtain a description related to the learning of PAI by using ICT and how the impact of the use of ICT on PAI learning systems in the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative approach in the integrated Islamic high school Ummul Quro Bogor, West Java. The results showed that a) there were four stages of using ICT in the learning process, namely; emerging, applying, integrating dan transforming. PAI teachers are already at the integrating stage. In other words, ICT has been integrated into the PAI learning curriculum. b) supporting factors for the use of ICT are the existence of ICT support facilities, the availability of qualified educators, the commitment of the school to implement ICT in every PAI learning. c) Inhibiting factors in the use of ICT are aspects of financing ICT facilities require a large budget. Some elderly teachers have difficulty using ICT in the learning process. Besides, the internet network is unstable. d) The impact of the use of ICT is very significant on PAI learning process. e) the existence of ICT devices not only as a support but already as an important component in the education system. The research led to the recommendation of the need for government support in the form of concern for ICT in terms of policies, facilities, workforce, budget, and organizing training in the use of ICT for PAI teachers to improve their professionalism. Therefore, further research is suggested regarding the effectiveness of the use of ICT in the learning process of PAI.

This research explains the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI at Senior high school Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan. This Research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The data collection was through by unstructured and opened interview techniques, unattended and opened observation, and documentation techniques. For analysis and interpretation of data using steps: a). Reduction data, b). Displaying data, and c). Conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the research shows that the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI through two ways, namely through the material and using methods that reflect multicultural values.

Education is an important factor which cannot be segregated from the life of all human beings, both individually and collectively. Strategies employed by the teacher of PAI (Islamic education) thus have an important role in establishing students’ personality, especially with regard to their religious character. The teaching of PAI therefore must be performed gradually and continuously. Students' ability in reading Qur'an must be improved significantly. A method of habituation constitutes one that can be used to improve students' ability in reading Qur’an. The problems in this research are as follows: 1. How did a PAI teacher overcome problems and difficulties in reading Qur'an through the use of a habituation method at SMK Al Kholily Mlokorejo Puger Jember?; 2. What were inhibiting factors and what were the solutions? This study employed a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were colleted by ways of observation and interviews. The respondents were students at SMK Al Kholily Mlokorejo Puger Jember. The results revealed that the difficulties in reading Qur’an can be improved through the use of a habituation method.

<pre>The purpose of this paper is to know the internalization process of religious tolerance values such as <em>tauhid, rahmah, musawah</em> in educational institutions. This study took place in the SMP Muhammadiyah Salatiga, the Junior High School, which using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that <em>first</em>, to put tolerance values into the curriculum, <em>second, to </em>develop vertical relationships in Allah SWT and horizontal fellow humans, <em>third,</em> to emphasize the implementation of tolerance values in the daily lives of students in realizing Islam <em>rahmatan lil alamin</em>,  Fourth,  the teacher gives examples of tolerance behavior in the learning process.</pre><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan tulisan ini ingin mengetahui proses internallisasi nilai-nilai toleransi beragama seperti <em>tauhid, rahmah, musawah</em> di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Muhammadiyah Salatiga dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah  <em>pertama</em> memasukkan nilai-nilai toleransi ke dalam kurikulum, <em>kedua </em>: membangun hubungan vertikal pada Allah SWT dan horizontal sesama manusia, <em>ketiga</em>: menekankan pelaksanaan nilai-nilai toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa dalam mewujudkan Islam <em>rahmatan lil alamin.</em> Ke empat: guru memberi contoh prilaku toleransi dalam proses pembelajaran.</p><p> </p>

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to identify and descripting Dawan ethnic group teenager from the rural area of South Timor Tengah regency to communicate as the part of identity conservation and development when enrolling high school or working in Kupang City. Identification and description include how they’re communicating and using traditional words, daily habits, and using social media as communication forum with the fellow Dawan ethnic group. This research method is using qualitative approach with case study. Selected observation technique, unstructured interview is utilized for data collecting. Post-teenager ethnical background interacting with the different ethnical group could shift and change their original ethnical identity. Based on the preliminary survey, the Bengkayang State Vocational High School 1 Bengkayang currently only has four teachers in the field of Accounting. Whereas the library only has 100 book examplers. In addition there are also computer lab facilities but no one can teach accounting computers. The purpose of this study is to find factors that influence accounting learning behavior. The population in this study were all students. The research sample is as many as 30 students who are in Bengkel 1 Vocational School majoring in accounting. The research method is descriptive and the research design is a qualitative case study. The results of this study are that those who study accounting in this case the students produce an impact that affects behavior both from within and outside themselves when studying accounting, the impact can be negative or positive for their accounting knowledge. The impact is in the form of good behavior that arises from within themselves or behavior that comes from people around them.

This study aims to reveal the comparative management of Islamic Education (Islamic Education) learning in Indonesia and Malaysia. The research method was a case study. The aspect of the study includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data collecting techniques were documents, archive records, interviews, and observations. The informant selection technique was a purposive sampling procedure from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Bego, Sembego, Maguwoharjo, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and Sekolah Rendah Malaysia (Malaysian Primary School) or Sekolah Kebangsaan (Malay-medium National Schools) Jelotong, Paritraja, Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. The results of the study show that both Indonesia and Malaysia produce similarities in terms of the stages of the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. The uniqueness of other similarities can be found in choosing the topic of Islamic religious subjects in the learning process. In addition to the similarities, there are differences in the underlying philosophy of making an Islamic Education curriculum.

The learning process in contemporary Islamic Education is more emphasized on aspects of activities undertaken by students. Education aims to explore and develop the potential of students. Lately, there are symptoms of delinquency that lead to criminal acts that the perpetrators are students in high school. The data released by the Yogyakarta Police stated that during the year 2016 there have been fights between students as many as 43 cases, even until there are victims who died. The incident is very contrary to the slogan of Yogyakarta as a student city. This study aims to analyze how the management of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 in Yogyakarta in dealing with various problems of students today. The qualitative approach and descriptive analysis are used to test the data of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that various strategies are needed in coaching students, so the educational process will be more optimal in exploring and developing students' potential. SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta does not carry out the discipline of students that have been made and does not deal with violations committed by students. Student management does not run according to the rules that have been made, this is because the SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta lacks students. The conclusion of this study shows that the management of students at the SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Yogyakarta is currently less than optimal and there are still minimal programs that can optimize student potential.

Teacher certification is one form of implementation of Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers by providing teacher certificates to teachers who have met certain requirements, namely having academic qualifications, competence, being physically and mentally healthy, and having the ability to realize national educational goals, followed by an increase in decent welfare. Teacher certification aims to increase knowledge, performance, creativity, and be able to carry out other main tasks and functions related to the teaching and learning process . Based on the background of the problem above, researchers are interested in revealing this phenomenon in a study. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of teacher certification on teacher performance in schools, especially at SMAN 5 Jambi City. This type of research is field research using a qualitative- naturalistic approach . Through this qualitative approach, it is hoped that a picture of the quality, social reality and perceptions of the research objectives will be lifted without being contaminated by formal measurements . The subjects in this study were 60 certified teachers in State Senior High School 5 Jambi City. The required data is obtained through interviews, observation and documentation.

The problems of learning are an obstacle that disturb the way of learning and are capable of resulting in some other problems in the aspect of learning. The problems of learning in Islamic education might be from teacher, student, headmaster, and media or infrastructure of learning, items of detail and learning purpose. Other problems of learning could also be contained in students with autism like the problems of communiation, less social interaction, attitude and adaptive living skills. This study uses a case study by examining the answers from some raising questions. The first question is that how is the learning process of Islamic education for students with autism in Galuh Handayani Senior High School in Surabaya; the second one is what are the problems faced by teachers in teaching Islamic education for students with autism and the third one is what are the efforts taken by teachers to solve the problems of Islamic education learning for students with autism in Galuh Handayani Surabaya Senior High School.

This research scrutinized the students' perception of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the teaching and learning process. A qualitative approach as a primary framework was employed with a case study method. Twenty students were involved in this research. The information was gathered through questionnaires and interviews. Of the twenty participants, only three participated in the interview session. The results reveal that most students gave tremendous perceptions of CLIL implementation, understanding the teachers’ instructions, being comfortable at some point in the class, and enriching their vocabulary. The findings of the study are envisioned to bring light to other teachers to reflect and develop themselves. Moreover, the study aimed to contribute to the schools’ policy-making, which means undertaking the CLIL program.
