One part of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia that has been difficult to carry out the education process in accordance with the Standards of the Learning Process based on the 2013 curriculum, especially in backward regions of Lebak Regency, Banten. The condition of backward regions which still has obstacles to accessing and organizing education based on the 2013 Curriculum. Thus, the successful implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in backward regions would be a challenge to implement it appropriately and in accordance with established standards. This study aims to determine constraints implementation of geography learning process based on Curriculum 2013 at senior high school. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. The principal participants in this study were Geography teachers at Senior High School who have implemented the Curriculum 2013 in backward region of Lebak Regency, Banten. Meanwhile, the participants of the base are learners and academic supervision. The research instruments are observation, interview, and document review.

This research explains the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI at Senior high school Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan. This Research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The data collection was through by unstructured and opened interview techniques, unattended and opened observation, and documentation techniques. For analysis and interpretation of data using steps: a). Reduction data, b). Displaying data, and c). Conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the research shows that the internalization of multicultural values ​​in the learning process of PAI through two ways, namely through the material and using methods that reflect multicultural values.

The effort to integrate Islamic values into learning has both attracted Islamic scholars to discuss and led them to offer their models which are open to examine. The purpose of this study is to discover a hypothetical model of integration planning of Islamic values into learning sociology at SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas/Senior High School) PGII (Persatuan Guru Islam Indonesia/The Association of Indonesian Islamic Teachers) 2 Bandung. This present study employed a qualitative approach and a descriptive method in the form of case study. The data were collected using techniques namely: interviews, observation, and study documentation.  The data were analysed through several steps namely: reducing, coding, displaying, interpreting of findings, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, the planning of the integration of Islamic values in learning sociology at SMA PGII 2 Bandung was applied through the use of the 2013 curriculum instrument. This integration occurred in the level of justification models. This is to say that the Quran was used as a justification tool for the learning contents of sociology learning. In this regard, the monotheism paradigm was brought into existence in the learning phases namely beginning, middle, and end of learning.  Those phases served as efforts to create a religious atmosphere so that were designed and planned in order to reach Islamic values integration in sociology learning.

This research scrutinized the students' perception of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in the teaching and learning process. A qualitative approach as a primary framework was employed with a case study method. Twenty students were involved in this research. The information was gathered through questionnaires and interviews. Of the twenty participants, only three participated in the interview session. The results reveal that most students gave tremendous perceptions of CLIL implementation, understanding the teachers’ instructions, being comfortable at some point in the class, and enriching their vocabulary. The findings of the study are envisioned to bring light to other teachers to reflect and develop themselves. Moreover, the study aimed to contribute to the schools’ policy-making, which means undertaking the CLIL program.

This writing intend for present about moral education in islamic junior high school Probolinggo in facing the rational hedonism which trends. Along with a lot of moral decadence, it requires integrative collaboration of all components both in schools, family and community to create an environment that is able to familiariza the behavior of children. This research use a qualitative approach and a descriptive method of case study type, with a research site in islamic junior high scholl Probolinggo. The result of this study indicate that Islamic Junior High School Probolinggo is in the stage of forming the morals of students. So that this scholl is committed to appliying the moral education perspective of al-ghozali in developing the behavior of student to become noble students. Formally in the learning process several methods can be considered according to the circumstances that surround it, namely: exemplary method, habituation method, advice method, and story method. The aim of moral education according to Al-Ghazali is merely to gain the pleasure of God. Indentical to the main happiness of ukhrawi and wordly happiness.

This study aims to obtain a description related to the learning of PAI by using ICT and how the impact of the use of ICT on PAI learning systems in the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative approach in the integrated Islamic high school Ummul Quro Bogor, West Java. The results showed that a) there were four stages of using ICT in the learning process, namely; emerging, applying, integrating dan transforming. PAI teachers are already at the integrating stage. In other words, ICT has been integrated into the PAI learning curriculum. b) supporting factors for the use of ICT are the existence of ICT support facilities, the availability of qualified educators, the commitment of the school to implement ICT in every PAI learning. c) Inhibiting factors in the use of ICT are aspects of financing ICT facilities require a large budget. Some elderly teachers have difficulty using ICT in the learning process. Besides, the internet network is unstable. d) The impact of the use of ICT is very significant on PAI learning process. e) the existence of ICT devices not only as a support but already as an important component in the education system. The research led to the recommendation of the need for government support in the form of concern for ICT in terms of policies, facilities, workforce, budget, and organizing training in the use of ICT for PAI teachers to improve their professionalism. Therefore, further research is suggested regarding the effectiveness of the use of ICT in the learning process of PAI.

A conducive learning situation is essential in learning English. However, one problem that usually disturbs the learning situation is the appearance of disruptive behavior. Students' disruptive behavior is an inappropriate behavior conducted by students during the learning process which turns the classroom into unconducive. Exactly, there are several factors contribute to the occurrence of disruptive behavior in the English lesson, especially on senior high school students. Thus, the current study was a case study aimed to investigate several causes of students' disruptive behavior in English teaching-learning process in the classroom. The subjects of this study consisted of an English teacher and a class of twelfth-grade students in a small town in Indonesia. The data were collected using observation and interview. The result of this study showed that students' disruptive behavior in the English classroom was caused by internal factor and external factor. Feeling boredom, feeling anxiety, and seeking attention were internal factor that became the occurrence of disruptive behavior. While fatigue was the external factor that causes the emergence of students' disruptive behavior in the English teaching-learning process in the classroom.             Keywords Disruptive Behavior, English Classroom, Senior High School Students, Teachers’ Management

Penelitian ini membahas kemampuan guru bahasa Sunda di SMP Piloting Project Kurikulum 2013 dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan menilai kemampuan mendongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 pada tahun pelajaran 2015-2016. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah (1) perkembangan Kurikulum 2013 yang sangat dinamis dan; (2) pedoman pelaksanaannya yang terus berubah, sehingga muncul pertanyaan apakah perubahan ini sampai kepada guru bahasa Sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan menilai pembelajaran khususnya materi dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Sunda kelas VII, dengan teknik observasi dan study dokumenter. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) guru bahasa Sunda mampu merencanakan pengajaran dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013; (2) dalam proses pembelajarannya perlu ditingkatkan dan; (3) guru bahasa Sunda mampu menilai pengajaran dongeng berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013. ABSTRACTThis article discusses the ability of Sundanese teachers in junior high school Piloting Project Curriculum 2013 in planning, implementing, and assessing the ability of storytelling based on Curriculum 2013 in the academic year 2015-2016. The backgrounds of this study were (1) the development of Curriculum 2013, which is very dynamic and; (2) the implementation guidance that is constantly changing, so the question arises whether this change reaches the teachers. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of teachers to plan, implement, and assess fairytale learning materials based on curriculum 2013. This research employed descriptive method with qualitative approach. The population and sample is Sundanese language teacher of Grade VII. It used observation and documentary study. The instrument was the observation sheet. The conclusion of this study are that (1) the Sundanese teacher is able to plan teaching fairytale based on Curriculum 2013; (2) the learning process needs to be improved; and (3) the Sundanese teacher is able to assess fairytale learning based on the Curriculum 2013.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the learning process and to analyze the problem of learning chemistry in senior high school. The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach. This mini research was conducted at Eria Medan Private Senior High School in 2017. Research subjects were selected by purposive sampling of 35 Mathematic and Natural Science 1, students grade XI. Data were collected and recorded using observation sheet to measure teacher activities. Students responses were obtained using a questionnaire. The result identified some problems that may inhibit the learning process. Only 37,14 % students were happy to complete or practice with questions and 42.85% of students are actively involved in the learning process. In addition, 80% of students stated that the chemistry books used were less interesting and only 20% of students stated their chemistry book was interesting to read.This study also found that there are misconceptions in teaching concept in the subject of chemical equilibrium.

In the era of industrial revolution of 4.0 it is important for the teacher to be able to use smartphone as learning media. The use of technology which is close to student will make it easier for teachers to create effective learning. There are still many learning process now adays that makes student unable to learn independently, students got difficulties to find the material, student are familiar with the lecture method so as to make students less active in learning. The alternative to the problem is the application of smartphone. The aim of research to determine the effectiveness of the use of smartphone media in learning process of senior high school in SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB-Gresik. Effectiveness in learning conducted with smartphone media is viewed from the theory of Moore D. Kenneth in his book, effective learning depends on professional teachers with several indicators. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB-Gresik. The subjects were students of class 10-MIA 2. The instrument used is an observation sheet taken from 6 indicators of the theory of Moore D. Kenneth. The method used is descriptive method. Data is collected using observation techniques. The results of the study showed that the teacher got a score of 92% with the category very feasible to be called a professional seen from 6 indicators so that the teacher had effective learning using smartphone media. The conclusion is that mathematics class teachers are called professionals with the use of smartphone media in learning mathematics in the 10th grade MIA 2 Muhammadiyah 10 High School GKB-Gresik is effectiveKeywords: Effectiveness, Learning, and Smartphone

The problems of learning are an obstacle that disturb the way of learning and are capable of resulting in some other problems in the aspect of learning. The problems of learning in Islamic education might be from teacher, student, headmaster, and media or infrastructure of learning, items of detail and learning purpose. Other problems of learning could also be contained in students with autism like the problems of communiation, less social interaction, attitude and adaptive living skills. This study uses a case study by examining the answers from some raising questions. The first question is that how is the learning process of Islamic education for students with autism in Galuh Handayani Senior High School in Surabaya; the second one is what are the problems faced by teachers in teaching Islamic education for students with autism and the third one is what are the efforts taken by teachers to solve the problems of Islamic education learning for students with autism in Galuh Handayani Surabaya Senior High School.
