This study aims to determine the level of ability and describe the constraints of mathematics education students in making a learning implementation design with a problem based learning model. This type of research is descriptive exploratory with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research population was all students in the 7th semester of the mathematics education study program, which were divided into 3 classes, namely classes A, B, and C. Sample of this study were 7 students who PLP courses. The results showed that there were 9 aspects of the learning implementation design assessment that would be assessed on 7 students. The average percentage of the 9 aspects assessed by researchers was 72.67% and those assessed by teachers were 73.67%, both of which were in the good category.

English Education students are prepared to be English teachers as one of the sources in learning activity. However, the students still mispronounced some words including ones which contain inert letters. This study aimed to find out the most frequent errors made by the English Education Students in pronouncing inert letters and the factors of the inert letters’ pronunciation errors. This study was a descriptive study which applied quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects of this study were 25 students of the English Education Study Program at Universitas Bengkulu. This study used recording, observation checklist, and interview as the instruments. Recording and observation checklists were used to gather subjects’ pronunciation. In order to find the factors of the pronunciation errors, an interview was conducted.  The pronunciation was analysed by using pronunciation checkers, Voice Notebook and Audacity. The interview results were analysed based on factors of pronunciation accuracy. The results showed that the most frequent errors of inert letters pronunciation made by the subjects were sounded inert letter /d/ of /-nd/ by 94% and silent inert letter /a/ of /-cal-/ by 88%. The interview generated some data which shows that the factors of subjects’ pronunciation errors were native language, age, and amount of exposure to English.

This research was motivated by the condition of Mathematics Education students who were unfamiliar and unable to read and use these mathematical symbols correctly. This study aimed to examine the effect of Kahoot! game media on students’ understanding of concepts, especially on mathematical symbols. The population of this study was students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University. At the same time, the research sample was 100 people obtained through random sampling, namely students who attended the introduction of mathematical symbols. The data was collected by taking a mathematical understanding test before and after using the Kahoot game media. Analysis of the data used was the paired t-test. The results showed a difference in the pre-test and post-test scores of students’ conceptual understanding, where the significance value was 0.05%.

Aims: To analyze the mathematical reasoning ability of mathematics education students. Study Design: Qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Place and Duration of Study: The population of all 3rd-semester mathematics education students at Bung Hatta University who take geometry courses is 25 students. Methodology: This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Researchers directly measure the mathematical reasoning ability of students in the mathematics education study program. Judging from the research subjects, the population of all 3rd-semester mathematics education students at Bung Hatta University who took geometry courses was 25 students. Results: From the analysis results, it was found that the achievement of mathematical reasoning abilities for indicators of students' ability to present mathematical statements orally, in writing, pictures, and diagrams indicated by question number 1 was 74% (Good Category). The indicators of mathematical manipulation ability shown in questions number 2 and 5 are 41% (Category Enough), and 42% (Category Enough). And the indicators of students' ability to conclude, compile evidence, provide comments, or evidence from several solutions shown by questions number 3 and 4 are 67% (Good Category) and 58% (Enough Category). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is to be able to determine the category of mathematical reasoning of the 3rd-semester students of the Bung Hatta University Mathematics Education Study Program.

Abstract Online learning is currently being implemented in Indonesia because of the impact of Covid-19. This research is to describe the motivation to learn mathematics education students ini online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this research is students in the 6th and 7th semesters of the mathematics education study program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) with 32 samples taken randomly. The instrument in this research used data in the form of a questionnaire  given online via Google Form and the results of interviews. The data analysis technique in this study was to interpret the presents of each of the 7 indicators of learning motivation according to Uno and to conduct interviews with selected research subjects related to online learning. The result of this research is that the 6th and 7th semesters of mathematics education students of UNSIKA have a high motivation to learn by obtaining a percentage of 88%. This means that even in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of online learning, it does not affect the motivation of students of mathematics education study programs to study actively.   Keywords: Motivation to learn, Online Learning, Mathematics Education   Abstrak Pembelajaran daring saat ini tengah diberlakukan di Indonesia karena dampak dari Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana motivasi belajar daring mahasiswa pendidikan matematika selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 dan semester 7 pada program studi pendidikan matematika di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) dengan sampel diambil secara acak berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data berupa kuesioner atau angket yang diberikan secara online melalui Google Form dan hasil wawancara. Teknik analasis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menginterpretasikan presentse dari setiap 7 indikator motivasi belajar menurut Uno dan dilakukan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian yang terpilih terkait pembelajaran  daring. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UNSIKA semester 6 dan semester 7 dominan memilliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi dengan memperoleh presentase sebesar 87,93%. Ini artinya, meskipun dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19 dan sedang diberlakukannya pembelajaran daring tidak mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika untuk giat dalam belajar. This study aims to determine the perception of mathematics education students of FKIP Unram on the online learning process, abilities after online learning, and to describe related to online learning in the covid-19 era in mathematics education students of FKIP Unram in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was carried out using descriptive qualitative research methods, for data collection a questionnaire was distributed via google form, with a sample of mathematics education students who were active and learning online in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used in this study is a closed questionnaire, where respondents just choose the answers that are already available. The results showed that the perception of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Unram towards the online learning process in the 2020/2021 academic year was categorized as good with a percentage of 79.13%. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of abilities after online learning are in good category with a percentage of 70.44%. Based on the results of the percentage scores for each indicator of the perception of the online learning process and the ability after online learning, there are several things that must be maintained and developed in online learning at the Unram Mathematics Education Study Program, namely 1). Lecturers always provide learning materials or materials. 2). The material provided by the lecturer is in the form of modules or textbooks. 3). The material presented online is in accordance with the lecture/RPS contract. 4). The online learning process is carried out using the Google Meet application. 5). Students find it easier to use the Google Meet application in the online learning process. 6). Students always do the assignments given by the lecturer. 7). Lecturers always check student attendance. 8). Lecturers give additional value to students who actively ask and answer in the online learning process. 9). Lecturers always provide opportunities for students to ask questions and discuss. 10). Lecturers respond to questions that arise during the online lecture process. 11). Lecturers provide feedback by asking students questions related to the material that has been studied.

This research aims to describe the learning by applying peer tutor learning model as an effort to improve the learning outcomes in the linear program of fourth semester students in Mathematics education study program of FKIP UM Mataram. The research method used a class action research. The research population was fourth semester students of Mathematics education study program of FKIP UM Mataram, with as many as four students taken as samples. The instruments of the study were the observation results of the learning implementation and the final test result of students study. Analysis of research data on students test results was obtained from the final test result of the learning cycle. The test was said to succeed if 85% of the total students got a value of ≥ 65. Based on the results of the study, the application of peer tutor learning models could improve learning outcomes with the observation result of lecturers and student learning activities were in good criteria. And, the final test score of cycle I had achieved a classical learning standard with a percentage achievement reached 75%.

Self-confidence is one of the affective aspects that must be considered and developed, especially in building student readiness in undergoing online learning in the current pandemic era. This study aims to analyze the confidence of mathematics education students in online learning in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. This research use descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were first semester students who took the Differential Calculus course in the Mathematics Education study program at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan for the 2021/2022 academic year. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The data obtained in this study were analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the indicators of student self-confidence in online learning in the era of the covid-19 pandemic have not fully achieved, but most of the indicators have mostly achieved self-confidence, namely the first indicator of believing in self-ability, most of them have achieved self-confidence. Students also have not fully met the second indicator, namely being able to act independently in making decisions. In the third indicator having a positive self-concept, most students have achieved this indicator. In the fourth indicator, namely daring to express opinions, almost some students have the courage to express opinions. To further increase student confidence, it is necessary to provide innovation in the implementation of online learning.

The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

The non-classical learning model used in this study was a jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the assignment treatment of making learning material video which is expected to make it easier in finding knowledge in teaching materials, with the creativity of students’ forming skills. The purpose of this study are to determine: (a) the effect of animation video and review video making in non-classical learning model on the ability to learn independently of students of the chemistry education study program at USN Kolaka, (b) the effect of animation video and review video making in non-classical learning model on the ability of spatial independence of students in the chemistry education study program at USN Kolaka, and (c) the effect of animation video and review video making in non-classical learning model on the learning outcome of students in the chemistry education study program at USN Kolaka. This research was a quasi-experimental research (quasy experiment) with a posttest only research design. The research population was students in the IV and VI semester of Chemistry Education Study Program. The instrument used was a questionnaire of learning independence, spatial ability and learning outcome.

The aim of this study was to measure the quality of service in Mathematics Education Study Program. This research is descriptive research, because this research will reflect the perceptions and expectations of students towards service quality in Mathematics Education Study Program. Sampling in this study conducted by random sampling technique.Instruments in this study was a questionnaire that serves to uncover and measure students' perceptions and expectations of service quality in Mathematics Education courses FKIP UST. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques and calculation of the score gap. The results showed that the tendency of the rate of student satisfaction in the category are satisfied. While the tendency of the rate of satisfaction for each dimension is 9-dimensional in satisfied category and 2-dimensional in quite satisfied category. The tendency of the level of interest / expectations of students is very important category. Similarly, the tendency of the level of interest / expectations for each of these dimensions in the dimension 11 is very important category. The highest score gap lies in the dimensions of Campus Support Service which is equal to a score of 1.48 and the lowest gap lies in the dimensions of Academic Advising which is equal to 0.72. Variables are prioritized for repair are the variables that enter the first quadrant, in order to increase the level of student satisfaction.Keywords :academic services, Quality, Student Satisfaction Inventory method
