This research aims to describe the learning by applying peer tutor learning model as an effort to improve the learning outcomes in the linear program of fourth semester students in Mathematics education study program of FKIP UM Mataram. The research method used a class action research. The research population was fourth semester students of Mathematics education study program of FKIP UM Mataram, with as many as four students taken as samples. The instruments of the study were the observation results of the learning implementation and the final test result of students study. Analysis of research data on students test results was obtained from the final test result of the learning cycle. The test was said to succeed if 85% of the total students got a value of ≥ 65. Based on the results of the study, the application of peer tutor learning models could improve learning outcomes with the observation result of lecturers and student learning activities were in good criteria. And, the final test score of cycle I had achieved a classical learning standard with a percentage achievement reached 75%.

Abstract. This study aims to determine the application of Thinking Empowerment Patterns Through Questions (PBMP) in the Two Stay Two Stray learning model (TSTS) to improve activities and learning outcomes in applied microbiology courses in Biology Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education UMMA. This type of research is a class action research (Class Room Action Research) which involves repetitive or cyclic reflection. The subjects of this study were students of biology education study programs who were taking courses in Applied Microbiology in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation and test techniques. The learning outcomes test was carried out at the end of each cycle to determine the extent of student understanding of the material provided. The collected data is then analyzed using percentage techniques, descriptive statistics, and qualitative analysis. The results of this study are patterns of empowerment of thinking through questions in the two stay two stray learning model can improve student learning activities and outcomes. Keywords: PBMP, TSTS model, learning activities, learning outcomes

This study aims to determine the level of ability and describe the constraints of mathematics education students in making a learning implementation design with a problem based learning model. This type of research is descriptive exploratory with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research population was all students in the 7th semester of the mathematics education study program, which were divided into 3 classes, namely classes A, B, and C. Sample of this study were 7 students who PLP courses. The results showed that there were 9 aspects of the learning implementation design assessment that would be assessed on 7 students. The average percentage of the 9 aspects assessed by researchers was 72.67% and those assessed by teachers were 73.67%, both of which were in the good category.

This research aims to improve the learning interaction of the students of Mathematics Education Study Program of FKIP UAD Yogyakarta in Differential Calculus subject in the academic year 2015/2016 using the cooperative learning model of Team Assisted Individually (TAI) type. This research is a class action research conducted within three cycles. The research subject is the student class C of  Mathematics Education Study Program of FKIP UAD in the academic year 2015/2016 taking Calculus Differential subject. The research object is the implementation of the learning using the cooperative learning model of TAI type in Calculus Differential subject conducted in the student class C of  Mathematics Education Study Program of FKIP UAD in the academic year 2015/2016. The data are collected by observation, interview, and test method. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the learning using the cooperative learning model of TAI type can improve the Differential Calculus learning interaction of the students of Mathematics Education Study Program of FKIP UAD in the academic year 2015/2016. It is shown by the observation results of Differential Calculus learning interaction average, those are 53,45% (fair), 71,27% (good), and 80,07% (very good) in cycle I, II, and III, respectively.

The computer 1 learning outcomes of the second-semester students of the Mathematics Education study program are low because the instruments used have not used instructional videos. A solution is needed in the form of the use of instructional videos. This study wanted to see whether or not there was an effect of instructional videos on the learning outcomes of computer 1. The quasi-experimental method used in this study was that the class A was the experimental class and class B was the control class. The sampling technique used is the saturated sampling technique, where all populations are used as research samples. The average similarity test was used in analyzing quantitative data, while the qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. The average similarity test results utilizing the t-test show where the value of tcount > ttable that 2,56 > 2,015, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of instructional videos on computer 1 learning outcomes second-semester students of the mathematics education study program 2019/2020.

The goal of the 2013 curriculum is to develop the next generation of citizens who have positive personality traits, can contribute to social life, and can compete in life in the future. It necessitates not just hard skills but also soft skills, which the future generation must acquire. The purpose of this research is to examine the link between students' soft skills and hard talents. The research method is employed in quantitative research. This study's sample consists of Mathematics Education students for the 2019/2020 school year. Questionnaires and tests are employed as tools. According to the questionnaire data, the soft skills of the Mathematics Education Study Program students at IAIN Curup were in a good category, namely 53.125 percent. The hard skills of the Mathematics Education Study Program students at IAIN Curup were also in a good category, namely 50 percent. According to the hypothesis test, there is no link between students' soft skills and hard skills to learning outcomes. Students' soft skills development may be applied to activities both inside and outside of the classroom and an integrated curriculum that includes both hard skills and soft skills. Student involvement in groups with practical activities is critical to enhancing adaptability, teamwork, tolerance, discipline, and responsibility.

This research was conducted because of the low students’ learning outcomes in concepts mastery in calculus course. The purpose of this research was to obtain the concepts mastery profile of the second semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program. The results obtained in this study were used as reference materials for calculus course and to influence the lecturers to find the right approach or learning model in order to improve students’ concept mastery. This study employed the descriptive-quantitative method. The results showed that the students' were having learning difficulties in concepts mastery in calculus course. The learning difficulties were caused by low concepts mastery and low mathematical principles understanding that led the students into wrong process skills. The difficulties experienced by the students such as difficulties in understanding the concepts and principles of the absolute value of the material, limit functions, and derivatives so that their answers were not as expected.

Based on experience and reflection multiplication of fractions learning at fifth class SDN 33 VII Koto Padang Pariaman district. Student learning outcomes is still low and the learning undertaken by teachers arenot using realistic problem to beginning of learning. So the author through this research trying to improve student learning outcomes in subjects multiplication of fractions. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation and learning outcomes. This research is action research (class action research), this study used a qualitative and quantitative approach. Learning is used by using the realistic mathematics education approach. After doing research hence an increase in student learning outcomes in multiplication of fractions lesson using realistic mathematics education approach. It can be seen, both from the ability of teachers in designing learning from 83% up to 94%, implementation of learning increased 94% from 77%, and learning outcomes increased to 86,87 from 74,04.
