This entitled of research "Expert System Diagnosis Eye Diseases Using MethodCertainty Factor Based Android" is proposed due to the increased spread eye diseases thatis leads to blindness in Indonesia it is happened because of the limited facilities of eyehealth services in health centers and hospitals, as well as lack of eye doctor who canexamine the eye, making eye left untreated and can cause serious damage to the eye.Therefore, many people are already suffering from the early symptoms of blindnessletting untreated without properly treatment. The purpose of this study is to develop anexpert system that is capable of providing information about eye diseases along withsuggested solutions of the disease suffered by imitating the analysis of an eye doctor.The system is built using certainty factor method which is an algorithm that isimprove the uncertainty idea of an expert. This method is used to describe the level ofconfidence of experts on issues being addressed. This system is built by Ionic frameworkfor Android applications with PHP, HTML5 and AngularJS.The system is able to provide information about eye diseases through the processof diagnosis, that can be used for early treatment of eye diseases. The whole function ofthis expert system application already worked properly without any mistakes. Anddiagnostics accuracy rate of the system is 75% in the diagnosis process of 15 diseases and52 symptoms.

Technological development is growing rapidly among with the increasing of human needs especially in mobile technology where the technology that often be used is android. The existence of this android facilitates the user in access of information. This android can be used for healthy needs, for example is detecting dental disease. One of the branches of computer science that can help society in detecting dental disease is expert system. In this research, making expert system to diagnosis dental disease by using certainty factor method. Dental disease diagnosis application can diagnose the patient based on griping of the patient about dental disease so it can be obtained diseases possibility of the patient itself. This application is an expert system application that operates on android platform. Furthermore, in the measurement accuracy of the system test performed by 20 patients, there were 19 cases of corresponding and 1 cases that do not fit. So, from system testing performed by 20 patients resulted in a 95% accuracy rate.

ABSTRAK             Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi dari waktu ke waktu terasa semakin pesat. Salah satu aplikasi dibidang komunikasi adalah sistem pakar. Program aplikasi sistem pakar   yang dirancang adalah sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit seperti penyakit campak. Dengan adanya program aplikasi ini diharapkan orang awam yang kurang pengetahuan tentang penyakit campak akan menjadi lebih mengetahuinya. Kemudian aplikasi ini mudah penggunaannya dalam mendiagnosa penyakit campak tanpa harus pergi ke dokter, serta mudah diakses dimana pun dan kapan pun. Metode pelacakan yang digunakan adalah metode penalaran forward chaining (pelacakan ke depan). Program ini dirancang dengan menggunakan media pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprosessor) dan menggunakan database MySQL sebagai penyimpanan data yang tujuannya agar tampilan dapat lebih menarik dan mudah dalam penggunaannya, juga bisa diakses internet.              Kata Kunci : Sistem Pakar, Diagnosa Campak, Forward Chaining                                                             ABSTRACT           At this time the development of technology and communication from time to time seem more rapidly. One application in the field of communication is an expert system. Expert system application program is an expert system designed to diagnose diseases such as measles. With the application program is expected to lay people who lack knowledge of measles will be more informed. Then the application is easy to use in diagnosing measles without having to go to the doctor, as well as easily accessible wherever and whenever. Tracking method used is a forward chaining reasoning method (tracking ahead). Identification of the development of special interests and talents needs to be done in order to find out the potential of students. This knowledge is needed by the teacher when providing counseling guidance to students in order to know the types of special interests and talents of students. This study aims to identify the development of special interests and talents in students based on the characteristics of special interests and talents appropriately. In this study using the Certainty Factor method where this expert system can assist experts in identifying the development of special interests and talents based on the characteristics of special interests and talents in students. Followed by calculating the level of accuracy with the results of the counseling guidance teacher analysis. The results of the testing of the Certainty Factor method were successfully applied by comparing the data with the system that had been designed so that a good level of accuracy was obtained from the results of the system calculations with expert decisions of 80% of the 5 test data. This expert system application can be used as an alternative in identifying the development of special interests and talents in students.

Using skincare and facial skin care must be in accordance with the type of facial skin, because if it is not suitable, it can cause problems such as facial skin breakouts, dry skin, irritated skin, and acne prone skin. To find out the type of facial skin, you have to do an examination with a skin and genital specialist, but the high cost of consultation and the long queue process is an obstacle for everyone. Therefore, the authors created an expert system to identify facial skin types using a combination of certainty factor methods with forward chaining techniques. The diagnostic results from calculations using an expert system application and the results of manual calculations from one of the respondent data from 100 respondent data, namely producing the same level of confidence, each of which produces a percentage of 99.45% and the diagnostic results state that the user has a normal skin type.

Developing an expert system application in providing an overview of the interests of students to help decision making interests in the vocational field so that they are right on target in choosing a major. In this study, using the Certainty Factor method and the Fordward Chaining method where this expert system can help experts identify vocational interests based on the characteristics of vocational interest in students. The personality types used to determine the type of vocational interest are Tangible, Thinking, Flexible, and Entrepreneur. The results of system calculations with expert decisions are worth 80% of the 4 test data, so a good level of accuracy is obtained. The resulting expert system can help students quickly provide an overview of vocational interest in making department decisions in continuing higher education, can carry out online consultations, document files, and can be used as a consultation portal for students.

Since being confirmed by WHO, the status of COVID-19 outbreak has become a global pandemic, the number of cases has been confirmed positive, cured, and even death worldwide. Artificial intelligence in the medical has given rise to expert systems that can replace the role of experts (doctors). Tools to detect someone affected by COVID-19 have not been widely applied in all regions. Banyumas Regency, Indonesia is included confirmed region of COVID-19 cases, and it’s difficult for someone to know the symptoms that are felt whether these symptoms include indications of someone ODP, PDP, positive, or negative COVID-19, and still at least a referral hospital handling COVID-19. Expert system with certainty factor can help someone make a self-diagnose whether including ODP, PDP, positive, or negative COVID-19. This expert system provides ODP diagnostic results with a confidence level of 99.96%, PDP 99.99790%, positive 99.9999997%, negative 99.760384%, and the application runs well on Android OS

Almost every human activity needs an eye to support these activities, therefore it will have a bad effect if the eyes experience interference. Disorders that can be experienced in the eye can occur from minor disorders to disorders that cause loss of vision and even death. Based on the results of the Rapid Assessment Assessment of Avoidable Blindness (RAAB), the blindness rate in districts/cities in NTB was 4%. This is not only due to medical-related problems but also due to social problems related to knowledge from the community, facilities, and resources. To make it easier for the public to make an initial diagnosis of eye disease, one thing that can be done is to use an expert system. Various methods can be implemented for expert systems, one of which is the Bayesian Network method. Based on the results of accuracy testing that has been done, this application provides an accuracy rate of 84.99%. Whereas, if the system diagnosis results are a subset of expert diagnostic results, the accuracy rate is 89.99% and based on the results of the use made by the general public, this application has been running well and has provided clear information related to the diagnosis of eye disease.

The eye is the important senses. If the eye is disrupted and ignore it, it will disturb the sufferer. In fact, many people delay to checked eye diseases suffered, due to the lack of knowledge society, the cost is quite expensive and the imbalance between patients and doctors so that should be queued if  will check the eye health. It is necessary for the expert system that can diagnose eye diseases, so a layman can be checked their eye diseases suffered without having to go to the doctors. This expert system is based on web with the programming language PHP and MySQL database. In the process of withdrawal conclusion, system using the certainty factors methodthat use a value to assume degree of confidence from an experts to a data. Expert system provides results in the form of the possibility of illness suffered, the value of the percentage of beliefs from the illness and the treatment solution based on the value of confidencethat given. So it can help the people to know the eye disease their suffered and the action can be done faster

In treating insomnia patients, acupuncturists who are not always in their clinics trust their patients to their assistants but because of their assistants limited knowledge, their assistants can not determine the right acupoints. Therefore, an application that able to store their knowledge about insomnia disease treatment is needed so that their assistants can handle the patients like they do.In this research, an expert system application using certainty factor method to determine the acupoint in dealing with insomnia disease was built. This research used certainty factor to accommodate uncertainty about symptoms and rules. The mechanism of certainty factor on symptoms used a measure of increased belief (MB) and a measure of increased disbelief (MD).The built expert system resulted acupoints based on symptoms experienced by insomnia patients. Accuracy value produced by the system that used certainty factor for determining acupoint dealing with insomnia is 0.933. It showed that the acupoint produced by the system is 93.3% relevant according acupuncturist expertise in treating insomnia patients.

In meeting the needs of health care that supports prevention and early detection of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), the existing health centers always keep their respective areas. In health centers that handle DBD mostly nurses in nursing care. To improve the service to the community as well as the lack of specialists in health center required an expert system, are used as a tool of nursing care in diagnosing dengue disease.JESS (Java Expert System Shell) is an expert system shell for Java, using the Rete algorithm as well as forward-chaining search and characterization of the disease using a confidence level of certainty factor (CF), it can be made in favor of the establishment of a knowledge base of expert system. The process for making the diagnosis is done by examining the clinical symptoms and laboratory disease. The diagnosis comes with a confidence level (percentage) of her illness by patients with DHF.From the test results were obtained from 10 cases of medical records of data centers Umbulharjo II Yogyakarta, the percentage obtained by 100% the truth value of predictive diagnostics system according to the knowledge possessed by experts.  Keywords: JESS, Rete, Certainty Factor, Nursing Care, Expert System
