Abstract - This research is aimed to find the effect of cooperative model learning think pair share type with experiment method toward learning physics result of the students at man west Lombok in academic year 2017/2018. The kind of this research is quasi experiment with Untreated control group design with pretest-posttest research design. The population of this research is all of the XI students of MAN West Lombok which consist of 34 students. Sampling jenuh technique is a way of taking the sample, while XI IPA 1 students as experiment class and XI IPA 2 as control class. The instruments that used are; multiple choice test and observation sheet. The amount of the multiple choice test are 25 questions where the test before has been through validity test, reliability, different capacity and standard of questions difficulty, while the observation sheet used to measure the affective and psychomotor score. Based on the result of the research that achieved from the mean score for pretest of experiment class is 40,19 and control class is 37,45, while the mean score of post-test experiment class is 73,52 and control class is 51,27. The hypothesis of the research is tested using t-test polled varians with significant standard 5% and achieved tresult 7,646 and ttable  2,021. Based on the criteria of hypothesis test, if tresult > ttable, it means Ho released and Ha accepted, where it can conclude that there is a effect of cooperative model learning think pair share type with experiment method toward learning physics result of the students at man west Lombok in academic year 2017/2018.

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  ada  tidaknya  pengeruh  penerapan model pembelajaran Inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap demokratis sisw a  MA  Darussalimin  NW  Sengkol  pada  mata  pelajaran  PKn tahun ajaran 2017/2018.   Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  pendekatan   kuantitatif   dengan  jenis penelitian  quasi  eksperimen  (eksperimen  semu)  yaitu  Nonequivalent  Control Group Design.  Sampel  dalam  penelitian  ini adalah sisw a kelas XI Agama sebanyak 21 orang sisw a sebagai kelas eksperimen dan sisw a kelas XI IPA sebanyak 21 orang sisw a  sebagai  kelas  control.  Instrument  pengumpulan  data menggunakan  tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal untuk hasil belajar kognitif dan instrument angket untuk  sikap  demokratis.  Berdasarkan  hasil uji hipotesis  uji-t untuk  hasil belajar diperoleh data thitung =1,85 dan t table = 1,684 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk=42 jadi t hitung > t table. Sedangkan hasil analisis sikap demokratis dengan menggunakan skala likert yakni 81,36% dari sebelumnya 69,04% untuk kelas eksperimen  dan  73,65%  dari sebelumnya  65,08%  untuk kelas control.  Hal ini menunjukka   hipotesis  dalam   penelitian  diterima  atau dengan  kata  lain  ada pengaruh  penerapan  model pembelajaran  inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap demokratis sisw a. AbstractThis  thesis  aimed  at  finding  out  the effectiveness  or uneffectiveness  of  using inquiry model in finding result of cognitive study and democratic attitude student of MA darussalimin nw sengkol in PPKn lesson in academic year 2017/2018. The sample in this research w as IX (nineth) of Islamic class. That w as 21 student as experimental class and student of IX (nineth) IPA that w as 21 studenas control class. The instrument w as collecting the data used multiple choice test, there w ere 20  questions  for  the  resulted  of  cognitive  study  and  instrument  quisioner in democratic attitude. Based on the result of hipotesis experimental for the result of study the researcher got tcount = 1,85 and t table = 1,684 in taraf significant 5% and DK = 40. So tcount >t table.While analisist result of democratic attitude w as used likert scala that w as 81,36% w hich before 69,04% for experimental class and73,65% for control class. So based on the date the researcher got the other w ord it w as effective in using inquiry model to cognitive result of study and democratic attitude.Keywords: Inquiry, result of PPKn lesson and Democratic Atitude

This study was aimed at finding out The Effect of Applying POSSE (Predict-Organize-Search-Summarize-Evaluate) Strategy on the Students’ Reading Comprehension. This study used the experimental design. The population of this study was the students of SMA Negeri 2 Medan. There were sixty students taken as the sample of the research. This study was conducted with two randomized groups namely experimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by applying POSSE strategy while control group was taught without applying POSSE strategy. The instrument of collecting the data was multiple choice test which consists of 40 items. To obtain the reliability of the test, the researcher used Kuder-Richardson (KR-21). The calculation shows the reliability was 0.81(high). The data were analyzed by using t-test. The calculation shows that t-observed (4.76) is higher than t-table (2.00) at the level of significance (α) 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) 58. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It means that there was a significant effect of applying POSSE strategy on the students’ reading comprehension. Keywords: POSSE Strategy, Reading Comprehension.

This study was aimed at finding out the effect of applying Learning Together Method on the students’ reading comprehension. This study used the experimental design. The population of this study was the students of SMP Negeri 1 Muara. There were sixty students of eighth class as the sample of the research. This study was conducted with two randomized groups namely experimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by applying Learning Together Method while control group was taught without applying Learning Together Method. The instrument of collecting the data was multiple choice test which consists of 20 items. To obtain the reliability of the test, the researcher used Kuder-Richardson (KR-21) formula. The calculation shows the reliability was 0.82(high). The data were analyzed by using t-test. The calculation shows that t-observed (4.9) is higher than t-table (2.00) at the level of significance (α) 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) 58. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The purpose of this research is to see how flash cards influence the students' English vocabulary mastery. The researchers of this research used quantitative research methods with posttest only control design of true experimental design. The random sampling method was employed in this research's sampling. The data collected in this research was put to the test (multiple choice test). The researchers of this research gave different treatments for the experimental and control groups. The treatment for the experimental group was learning English with flash card media and the treatment for the control group was learning English conventionally. After the two sample groups were given different treatment, the two sample groups were each given a posttest with an instrument consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions with 4 alternative answer choices that had been tested beforehand and validated empirically. Analysis of research data is descriptive and inferential, which inferentially uses the t test, by first testing the assumptions of data normality and homogeneity of variance. The results showed that flash cards had an influence on students' English vocabulary mastery. Therefore, it can be said that this research has proved that there was a significant result of using Flash Cards towards children's English vocabulary mastery.

This present study was quasi experiment research. This study aimed to find out whether or not there is any the improvement of the students’ reading comprehension by using buzz group technique. The population of the study was all the eighth grade students of SMP SENTOSA BAKTI BATURAJA in Academic Year 2019/ 2020. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling. The sample is divided by two experimental class and control group. The try-out was done at VIII. C with 22 respondents. The data was collected by using test. The reliability of the data was taken through Alpha Cronbach. The data were analyzed by using paired T-test of control class and paired t-test of experimental class and independent t-test too. The result showed that from the mean score was 71 improved to be 84, 6 and based on independent T-test the value of T obtained was 8,122 as significant level of 0.05 for 2 tailed testing and degree of freedom (df) was 48 the critical value of T table 3, 425. The value was higher than T table (8,122>3,425) and the value sig, (2 tailed)= 0.000 less than the value of significant level (0.05).  It mean that there was significant improvement the students who was taught by using buzz group technique and those who was not at SMP SENTOSA BAKTI Baturaja. It concluded that Buzz group technique was effective to promote students’ reading comprehension at the Eighth Grade students of SMP SENTOSA BAKTI BATURAJA.

This study investigated the effect of team product to improve students’ creativity in writing at the 8th-grade students of SMPN 1 Jonggat, Central Lombok in the academic year 2018/2019. The research was designed as quasi experiment research. The students were divided into the experimental group and control group. The experimental group was treated using the team product method while the control group was subjected to a conventional method. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The data in this research was taken from the mean scores of students’ achievement and the score percentages. The subject of this research was the 8th-grade students of SMPN 1 Jonggat, which consisted of 54 students. The instruments of this research were tests and questionnaires. The mean score of students’ creativity in the experimental group was 75 and the writing skill was 76. It was higher than the students in the control group. It can be concluded that the team product had a positive effect on students’ writing skills in relation to creativity at SMPN 1 Jonggat.

This study examined the incidental acquisition of English prepositions by Arabic-speaking English as a foreign language (EFL) learners. Employing reading comprehension exercises as a treatment, we adopted the experimental design of a pre- and post-test to determine the effectiveness of the treatment on the participants’ incidental acquisition of English prepositions. For the purpose of the study, we divided the participants into a treatment group, who engaged in reading comprehension exercises for one academic term, and a control group, who did not. We used a multiple-choice test and a fill-in-the-blank test to measure the participants’ receptive and productive knowledge of English prepositions, respectively. We also conducted an introspective session with the treatment group following the administration of the post-tests to determine the areas of difficulty. The results of the study mainly indicated that reading accompanied by exercises resulted in better incidental gains in the acquisition of English prepositions, especially on the multiple-choice test. The study concludes with recommendations for further research.

It was predicted that varying the kind of prequestion asked would differentially affect the inspection behaviour of students reading a given passage. Primary school pupils (80 5th and 6th graders) read a short passage after being asked either a specific, general, or integrative question. A no-question control group also read the passage before all subjects attempted a multiple choice test. Consistent with previous findings, a specific prequestion most effectively focussed attention on particular points. General prequestions ostensibly referred the reader to more of the passage, but it can be inferred from test data that there was no advantage from this spread of attention unless the extra information was organized or ‘integrated’. The results were interpreted in terms of control of attention to critical stimuli.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model Discovery Learning berpendekatan Science, Technology, Eengineering, and Mathematic  terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa SMA di gorontalo. Penelitian kuantitatif Quasi Eksperimental ini menggunakan disain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Sampel berjumlah 180 siswa, yaitu sebanyak 91 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 89 siswa kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan model Discovery Learning berpendekatan Science, Technology, Eengineering, and Mathematic, dan untuk kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model Discovery Learning berpendekatan Saintifik. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah four-tier multiple choice test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Mann-Whitney dan Wilcoxon dengan taraf signifikan kurang dari 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Temuan ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berpendekatan Science, Technology, Eengineering and Mathematic  terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan rujukan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran kimia di masa depan

The aim of the research was to analyze whether there is any effectiveness of online game in teaching vocabulary of the first grade of MTsN 1 Kediri. This research was quantitative research approach, the research design was  quasy experimental by non equivalent group posttest-only. This research used two classes which became experimental group (VII C) and control group (VII E). The experimental group was taught by using online game, whereas control group was taught without online game. The instruments used in the research was multiple choice test. The procedures of using online game in teaching vocabulary are; preparation, main activities and post activity. The reasearch took 4 meetings and 1 meeting to do test. The result is online game in teaching vocabulary is effective. It can be proven by the result of t-test: the mean score of experimental group (M = 88.29) was higher than control group (M = 83.92), and independent-samples t-test which values of the sig. 2-tailed was 0.29% or 0.029 and 0.029 < 0,05. This result suggests that the use of media online game in teaching vocabulary is interesting way to learn English.
