Research on the effect of mind-assisted mind inquiry models on students' knowledge competencies in SMA X-class UNP Laboratory Development Cross-interest. Guided Inquiry learning models assisted by Mind Map if both are combined students can understand learning material more clearly so that students can improve their learning competencies and can develop students' critical thinking skills. This study uses quasi experiments. And research design Randomized Control-Group Pretest-Posttest Design sampling technique is done by purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure the results of cognitive learning competencies of students using objective tests. The results showed that there were differences in cognitive learning outcomes from the mind map assisted guided inquiry model that had a positive effect than the direct learning model.

AbstractThis research was instigated by the low of students creative thinking ability at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja. This research aimed at knowing the effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson at State Senior High School 1 Perhentian Raja. It was Quasi Experimental research. Simple Random Sampling technique was used in this research. The samples comprised two classes, the eleventh-grade students of Natural Science 1 that were 33 students as the Control group and the students of Natural Science 2 that were 32 studentsas the Experimental group. The techniques of collecting the data were tests in the form of homogeneity test as the preliminary data, pretest and posttest as the final data, observation, and documentation. The instrument of this research was creative thinking ability test in the form of essay with the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The pretest and posttest data were analyzed by using t test at 5% significant level. The research findings showed that there was a significant effect of implementing Guided Inquiry learning model with student workbook toward student creative thinking ability on Colloid lesson that t was 4.268 and the score of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.00. The coefficient of effect was 22%. Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning Model, Student Workbook Guided Inquiry Based, Creative Thinking Ability, Colloid

This research aimed to design applicative-integrative student worksheet based on scientific approach, which was applied to the learning process by using guided inquiry learning model. The worksheet was properly assessed from three aspects. There were validity, effectivity and practicality. The approach used in this research was ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with Embedded Mixed Methods. The stages of this research were extraction of potentials and problems, designing student worksheet, validation by experts including media, subjects, and practitioners, then testing the student worksheet. The results showed that the student worksheet was appropriate based on the analysis of the data obtained. This student worksheet was feasible to be implemented in the learning process of chemistry class, particularly reaction rate subject. The result of this research showed that validity, effectivity and practicality obtained 93.9, 83.1, and 94.3%, respectively.

This research aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on science process skills and higher order thinking skills on the theme of heat and its displacement in grade V SD Negeri 104260 Melati. The research instrument included observation of science process skills and tests of higher order thinking skills. This study uses the analysis of the Independent Sample Test (t test). The average value of science process skills in the guided inquiry class was 81.62 and the direct instruction learning model class was 79.02. A significant influence on students' science process skills in the learning process on the theme of heat and its displacement, with a score of tcount (2.384)> ttable (2.004) for n = 56, α = 0.05 and sig. 2 tailed (0.021) <α = 0.05, so that H₀rejected. then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. The average value of high-order thinking skills in the guided inquiry class is 75.57 and in the class of direct instruction learning model. A total of 67.43. The results of the analysis of high-order thinking skills have tcount (3.597)> ttable (2.004) for n = 56, α = 0.05 and sig. 2 tailed (0.001) <α = 0.05, so that H₀rejected and Ha accepted. Guided inquiry learning model affects science process skills and high-order thinking skills of students on the theme of heat and its displacement in grade V SD Negeri 104260 Melati.

Abstract: The low social sensitivity to the environment is one of the most frequent problems, as evidenced by the lack of awareness to dispose of garbage in the trash, taking care of plants and others. Schools as the main educator agents play a role in improving the social sensitivity of students through learning so that through the materials and appropriate learning meodel will be able to improve students' social sensitivity to the surrounding environment. This research is a quasi-experimental research using SPSS 17,00 in analyzing data. Based on the pretest and posttest results in the experimental class using the guided inquiry learning model is more effective for improving students' social sensitivity than the control class that carries out the pure inquiry learning model. Analysis with t test by conducting independent sample test, found t count equal to 3,99 with significance level 0,00 (sig <0,05), this means Ho refused and accept Ha. This study proves that if Ha is accepted which contains the implementation of guided inquiry learning model is greater than the use of pure inquiry model in improving social sensitivity of students in social studies subjects.Keyword: Model learning, Inquiry, Social Sensitivity
