However, its potential has not been promoted publicly in the best ways. The aim of this research is to describe and develop a model for promoting inclusive and sustainable tourism in the area. The research applies qualitative methods and takes a descriptive approach. The data were collected using observation and interviews, while data analysis was performed using Creswell's descriptive qualitative analysis. The Sejarah di Dekatku (History Near Us) application (the new model), together with social media promotion, provides an alternative way of promoting tourism. During a trial launch, the application was appreciated by the tourists who used it. The application is considered easy to use and suitable for the needs of the community. It features themes of inclusivity and education, and it is considered important for the promotion of historical areas of Semarang. The advantages of using the application to help develop Kota Lama Semarang tourism are that it is easy to use and navigate, it has attractive features, and it provides easy-to-understand information. Our research suggests that the application should be launched immediately and used as a way of promoting the area. In addition, features and interfaces should be developed further to make the application even more attractive and user-friendly. This can be done by researching and developing the features and the interface of the application to make it more attractive and user-friendly.

Purpose Although several researchers have made significant efforts to examine the adoption of social media marketing technology in Nigeria, many have focussed on large organizations while others have constantly extrapolated the findings obtained in the Western world as if small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have the same structure, managerial capabilities, and operate in the same way. This has hindered the development of an integrated framework aimed at unravelling the factors shaping the adoption of social media marketing applications in SMEs in Nigeria. The paper, therefore, aims to explore some antecedent factors that shape SMEs adoption of social media marketing applications in SMEs in Nigeria. Design/methodology/approach The study deployed a qualitative approach with the use of unstructured and semi-structured interviews with a total of 20 participants drawn purposeful from Nigeria directories and analysed by using a hybrid method of thematic analysis. Findings The study developed an extended technology–organization–environment framework (TOE) framework that incorporated the communication context, which aids in identifying 11 key success factors shaping SMEs adoption of social media marketing technology in Nigeria. The findings associated with the extended TOE framework show that they have an impact on social media marketing technology adoption in SMEs. Research limitations/implications Because the researchers adopted the qualitative method, the findings may lead to some bias in the analysis of the data which may limit the insights into the key factors shaping the adoption of social media marketing technology adoption. Future studies may adopt a mixed-method approach or a comparative approach to confirm the finding and to better understand the critical factors linked to the framework. Although it is believed the with the use of thematic data analysis, the results are well associated with the structure; however, the structure has limitations. Drawing from the data analysis, the factors are limited. Other factors which may positively influence social media marketing adoption in SMEs. Hence, further studies are needed in this area in a bid to explore these factors by using different research appraoches. Originality/value The study has enriched the existing TOE framework and provided insights into the dominant issue faced by SMEs in adopting social media marketing technology, provided an analytical dimension, reliable explanation of these finding and tool for evaluating some of the challenges faced by SMEs in the adoption of social media marketing technology.

Hadis preaching is now meeting new challenges in its succession of implementation, one of which is its touch with courage-based social media. Apart from optimizing the propagation material that is disseminated, it has also become an interesting topic in discussions of the development of modern dakwah. In this case, content framing (framing) is deemed appropriate to package the dakwah content offered to the people in order to have authority on social media. However, the question that can be offered is how can the theoretical application of the framing concept work on da'wah content on social media? Departing from this formula, the author will elaborate the dakwah paradigm through content from several accounts on Instagram, based on the hadith as the preaching material. The author provides segmentation of the @hadispedia and @pusatkajianhadis accounts as research objects using the theoretical synergy of Robert N. Entman's framing. This research is built on qualitative methods that are oriented towards the context of reality and data analysis of digital literature. The author will examine the focus of the problem with a descriptive-explorative orientation in order to obtain an optimal and comprehensive understanding. The argument from this research is that the concept of framing actualized on the preaching of hadith content, especially on @hadispedia and @pusatkajianhadis accounts, can increase the effectiveness of the implementation of da'wah on social media.
