The research aims to determining students learning outcome of natural science at class five. In which students are being educated by discovery learning model natural rocks environmental around of students that is learned with conventional leaning program for student class five at elementary school Gugus 5 Blahbatuh. This reseacarching is constitute in experiment researching of Nonequivalent Control Grup Desain. The population 131 students in five grade of elementary school in Gugus 5 Blahbatuh. This sampel was chosen  by using randomsampling technique. there two class asresearching sample in which is SD Negeri 4 Pering as experiment group with 32 students and SD Negeri 2 Pering as group control with 30 students, the data collector by using objective test with multiple choice and then analysis, the average of students learning outcomes at natural science for experiment class is 80,00 and at class control  70,30, the after do to hypothesis examination it gated arithmetic 3,666 in significant 5 % with dk =32+30-2 = 60 prices ttable 2,000 so it can be said arithmetic = 3.666> ttable = 2,000 (a= 0,05, 60 )= 2,000. Then H0 rejected and Ha accepted, this mean the stream of researching that show the indication there are differences in learning outcome at natural science class between experiment class and control class, Therefore we can conclude that used discovery learning model natural aound rock environment media auoud of student learning outcomes for student area effecting of student learning outcomes for students of natural scien at class five in Gugus 5 Blahbatuh in academic years 2016/2017

<p><em>The purpose of this study are (1) describing the application of Discovery Learning model with concrete materials, (2) improving natural science learning outcomes, (3) describing problems and solution. It is a collaborative classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects are teacher and students. Research data are qualitative and quantitative. Data collection techniques are nontest and tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show that: (1) </em><em>the steps to the application of discovery learning model with concrete materials</em><em> </em><em>are</em><em> </em><em>providing stimulation, identif</em><em>ication</em><em> problems, collecting data, processing data, pro</em><em>of</em><em>, </em><em>and </em><em>drawing conclusions; (2) the application of discovery learning model with concrete materials can improve natural sciences learning outcomes. It is proven by the average percentage of teacher</em><em>=</em><em> 89.39%, students' observations</em><em>= </em><em>86.75%, and research evaluation</em><em>= </em><em>91.18%; (3) the problems found in this study are students fail in constructing hypotheses, teacher does not prove hypotheses</em><em>, </em><em>s</em><em>ome student are passive in learning process</em><em>, teacher only chooses active students, students ask the teacher in less polite</em><em>. </em><em>The solutions are the teacher assists the students to construct hypotheses according, the teacher proves the hypotheses, the teacher gives motivation, the teacher chooses active and passive students, the teacher asks the students to speak well</em><em>.<strong></strong></em></p>

<p><em>Discovery learning model encourages learners to find new knowledge and to look for the solution of problems or odd situations. The model provides an opportunity for students to actively participate in building knowledge that they would gain during learning. The research aims to improve student's cognitive learning outcome and activities through discovery learning model in the subject of the Structure and Function of Plant Tissues in SMP Negeri (Public Junior High School) 4 Ternate. The research is a classroom action research in the academic year of 2018/2019. The action research is conducted in two cycles. The research result indicates that the application of discovery learning model could improve the cognitive learning outcome and learning activities among students at class VIII-4 of SMP Negeri 4 Kota Ternate in the subject of the Structure and Function of Plant Tissues. </em></p>

Based on the development in education, Indonesia has implemented a new curriculum called K13, in this curriculum, implementing the scientific approach is mandatory. Unsuitable learning model results in minimum students’ learning outcome in geography. In addition, locus of control also affects the students' learning outcome since students with internal LoC are alway better than students with external LoC. To cope with this issue, a suitable learning model is necessary: PBL and DL model. A suitable model is expected to be able to improve students' learning outcome — the present study aimed to examine the effectiveness of PBL and DL towards students with external locus of control. The present study was categorized as experimental research with control group experiment. The sample of the study was sixty-two students of SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hulu Class X of IPS. They were selected using purposive sampling. T-test was used to analyze the data obtained from the questionnaire and test. The result of the study showed that the significance value was .043 < 0.05. It means that there is effectiveness different between PBL and DL on students with external locus of control in terms of their learning outcome in Geography. References Ambarjaya, Beni S. (2012). The purpose of this study was to determine the activities that occur during the teaching process of writing Recount Texts using the Discovery Learning method and to identify the benefits obtained by students from writing the Recount Text using the Discovery Learning method in the 2013 curriculum there is one learning model called Discovery Learning. Discovery Learning can help students to learn better because students can think critically and creative. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research respondents were English teachers and the tenth grade students of Ngamprah High School. Data obtained from observations and interviews. The results of the study revealed that the results of this study were positive. Students who are taught by using the method of Discovery Learning play an active role in the teaching and learning process. The composition of their writing also shows good results in terms of content, organization, Grammar, vocabulary, and mechanics. Therefore, it is recommended to apply this learning model to teach writing Recount Texts. Keywords:  Discovery Learning, Writing Skills, Recount Text

This classroom action research was motivated by the students’ lowscience process skills and cognitive learning outcome in naturalscience. One of the reasons is the lack of teachers’ ability in choosingappropriate learning models and using of science props in natural sciencelearning. Thus, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning modelwith science props to students of class IV SD Negeri 15 Surau GadangSiteba Padang is one of the ways to solve this problem. The objective ofthis research is to describe the improvement of the students’ scienceprocess skills and cognitive learning outcome in natural science in classIV at SD Negeri 15 Surau Gadang Siteba Padang by using ProblemBased Learning model with science props. The instruments of thisresearch were the observation sheets of students’ science process skillsand teachers’ activities and the test sheets of students’ cognitive learningoutcome. The results showed that there was a significant improvementof students’ science process skills and cognitive learning outcome innatural science class IV by using Problem Based Learning model withscience props from the first cycle to the second cycle.
