Our children are our future and if we want them to grow up healthy and strong, we have to protect them from the six dreadful diseases through immunisation which attack them in early childhood. This can be achieved by giving the children one dose of BCG vaccine against tuberculosis and zero dose of Polio at birth [Government of Pakistan (1989»), three doses of DPT vaccine for prevention of diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus. Three doses of polio vaccine and one dose of measles vaccine should be given before their first birthday. Since the mother is the agent through which a child can receive the vaccinations, it is important that mothers are made aware of the different kinds of immunisation for the children and the times in the child's age at which it should be given. This can only be done successfully, if the ministry of health launches a fullscale publicity programme. For this purpose, the services of local influential persons, for example the Imams of mosques and school teachers should be sought. Social workers and volunteers should also be included in the publicity programme. An extensive advertising campaign through display of posters about the six preventable diseases shown at all prominent public places, at the hospitals and the health centres should be done. Pamphlets should be handed out in the public, and even supplied on every door step. Public awareness can be increased through radio and television.

The existing system function as a multiple unit like computer setup and printing unit is fixed at different location and an intermediate person will be there to do the printing process. The existing system faces some difficulties like structure is not compact, all the units are installed at a different location, Customer needs 24*7 service, but the service is not available in all the times. The service timing is limited up to the availability of the labor. The Automated pay and use browsing, and printing machine is a type of vending machine which performs 24*7 browsing and printing service. The system can be implemented in the public places, educational institutions etc. The setup works on the time-based control system based on the amount paid as the input for browsing and printing separately. The main controller is the Raspberry Pi which controls and monitors the complete browsing and printing process. The separate coin collector device is interfaced with it to collect the amount for browsing and printing service. A continuous monitoring is done through IoT which helps to monitor the machine 24*7 which provides data like number of printout taken, browsing time. This makes the performance monitoring process easy

The February, 1964, issue of Health News (a publication of the New York State Department of Health) contains an advertisement addressed to "Dear Physician" which asks the doctor to remind his patients to continue vaccination against "Diphtheria, Whooping Cough, Polio, Tetanus, and Smallpox." My question is, "What happened to measles?" All of us cheered the announcement last year that a measles vaccine would soon be available to the public. Last autumn we contemplated a spring free of miserably sick children with cough, conjunctivitis, coryza, and rash complicated by respiratory distress or encephalitis.

Along with the times, recently there have been found tool to facilitate human’s work. Electronics is one of technology to facilitate human’s work. One of human desire is being safe, so that people think to make a tool which can monitor the surrounding condition without being monitored with people’s own eyes. Public awareness of the underground water channels currently felt still very little so frequent floods. To avoid the flood disaster monitoring needs to be done to underground water channels. This tool is controlled via a web browser. for the components used in this monitoring system is the Raspberry Pi technology where the system can take pictures in real time with the help of Logitech C170 webcam camera. web browser and Raspberry Pi make everyone can control the devices around with using smartphone, laptop, computer and ipad. This research is expected to be able to help the users in knowing the blockage on water flow and monitored around in realtime.

The obelisk is a large stone block with a height ranging from 50 cm to 3 m. It varies in width from one obelisk to another. It is sculptured from one side or two or four sides with prominent picture inscriptions, often accompanied by cuneiform texts for immortalising kings and their military campaigns. This obelisk is constructed in a rectangular or square, and some of them a dome convex or semi-circular or pyramid. The lower section of the obelisks is wide, similar to the base of the base, and another section is sculpted on a slightly sloping end, so that it can easily be attached to the ground or placed on a special base. The rulers and kings of Mesopotamia established and displayed the obelisk in public places in order to be seen by the public.  It also was placed in the yards of temples or public squares and squares and the streets of cities. It used to celebrate their religious, military and historical achievements in order to immortalise their actions. These obelisks are held to commemorate the deeds of kings and their achievements in peace and war as confirmed by the cuneiform texts and the artistic scenes implemented on them.

Here the authors present the variation that exists in income inequality across the states, and variation in public awareness or concern about income inequality as measured by public opinion polls. Though politicians may decide to tackle income inequality even in the absence of public concern about inequality, the authors argue that government responses are more likely when and where there is a growing awareness of, and concern about, inequality, which is confirmed in the analyses in this book. To examine this question in subsequent chapters, a novel measure of public awareness of rising state inequality is developed. Using these estimates, this chapter shows that the growth in the public concern about inequality responds in part to objective increases in inequality, but also that state political conditions, particularly mass partisanship, shape perceptions of inequality.

AbstractThe COVID-19 outbreak is asynchronous in US counties. Mitigating the COVID-19 transmission requires not only the state and federal level order of protective measures such as social distancing and testing, but also public awareness of time-dependent risk and reactions at county and community levels. We propose a robust approach to estimate the heterogeneous progression of SARS-CoV-2 at all US counties having no less than 2 COVID-19 associated deaths, and we use the daily probability of contracting (PoC) SARS-CoV-2 for a susceptible individual to quantify the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission in a community. We found that shortening by $$5\%$$ 5 % of the infectious period of SARS-CoV-2 can reduce around $$39\%$$ 39 % (or 78 K, $$95\%$$ 95 % CI: [66 K , 89 K ]) of the COVID-19 associated deaths in the US as of 20 September 2020. Our findings also indicate that reducing infection and deaths by a shortened infectious period is more pronounced for areas with the effective reproduction number close to 1, suggesting that testing should be used along with other mitigation measures, such as social distancing and facial mask-wearing, to reduce the transmission rate. Our deliverable includes a dynamic county-level map for local officials to determine optimal policy responses and for the public to better understand the risk of contracting SARS-CoV-2 on each day.

Cities around the globe are embracing the Healthy Cities approach to address urban health challenges. Public awareness is vital for successfully deploying this approach but is rarely assessed. In this study, we used internet search queries to evaluate the public awareness of the Healthy Cities approach applied in Shenzhen, China. The overall situation at the city level and the intercity variations were both analyzed. Additionally, we explored the factors that might affect the internet search queries of the Healthy Cities approach. Our results showed that the public awareness of the approach in Shenzhen was low. There was a high intercity heterogeneity in terms of interest in the various components of the Healthy Cities approach. However, we did not find a significant effect of the selected demographic, environmental, and health factors on the search queries. Based on our findings, we recommend that the city raise public awareness of healthy cities and take actions tailored to health concerns in different city zones. Our study showed that internet search queries can be a valuable data source for assessing the public awareness of the Healthy Cities approach.
