This research aims at examining and determining the effect of experience quality on tourists’ behavioral intention either directly or by perceived value, happiness, and tourist satisfaction. The sample in this research includes 227 tourists visiting Dodola Island using purposive sampling technique. The analytical method to test the hypothesis in this research is SEM-PLS. The results show that Experience Quality, Tourist Satisfaction, and Happiness had positive and significant effects on Tourists’ Behavior Intention. Meanwhile, Perceived value did not have any significant effect on Tourist Behavioral Intention as Perceived Value was not able to act as a mediator on the effect of Experience Quality on Behavioral Intention. On the other hand, Perceived Value variable had a positive and significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction. Therefore, the increase in Tourist Satisfaction sourced from Perceived Value could affect behavioral intention. The results of further research also show that Tourist Satisfaction and Happiness could partially mediate the effect of Experience Quality on Behavioral Intention.

Palatal rugae are irregular protrusions that are anatomically located on the anterior maxillary mucous membrane, on each side of the median palatal raphe next to the posterior incisor papilla. The aim of this research was to determine the differences of palatal rugae pattern between Chinese and Indian females. This study was descriptive by using the observation method to a total of 50 female samples consisted of 30 Chinese and 20 Indian using purposive sampling. Impressions of the upper jaws were taken and cast with dental stone. The palatal rugae pattern was identified according to Martin dos Santos classification. The most frequent palatal rugae pattern in Chinese females is curve form (41.00%), followed by line form (23.85%) and sinuous form (15.90%). On the other hand, Indian females mostly have sinuous form (28.83%), followed by line form (23.93%) and curve form (20.25%). Thus, there is a difference between palatal rugae pattern between Chinese and Indian females which is the curve forms is more common in Chinese females while the sinuous forms is more common in Indian females.

This article focuses on the use of teacher journals as an empirical tool. Journals are often perceived as subjective and self-indulgent, resulting from lack of criticism or lack of experience in journal writing. On the other hand, journals can help in investigating such aspects as learner behavior, classroom dynamics or teacher behaviors. Undoubtedly journals help teachers to become more reflective. However, the obvious advantages, the journals are not the most favored empirical research tool.

The objective of the present study is to investigate whether there is a relationship between perception of psycho-social school environment, personal growth initiative and fear of failure in intermediate students. The study also aimed to observe whether there are gender differences between students going to colleges (viz. with EAMCET coaching and without EAMCET coaching) in terms of psycho-social school environment, personal growth initiative and fear of failure in intermediate students. The School Environment Inventory (Misra, 1984), the Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II (Robitschek et al., 2012) and the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (Conroy et. al., 2002) were administered on 300 intermediate students (150 boys and 150 girls) selected through a non-probability purposive sampling technique to measure the perception of psycho-social school environment, personal growth initiative and fear of failure respectively. The results indicated significant gender differences between the students going to colleges with coaching and the students going to colleges without coaching with respect to perception of psycho-social school environment and personal growth initiative (p<0.05). However, no significant gender differences were observed in fear of failure and its dimensions (p>0.05). Among students going to colleges with coaching negative correlations were observed between rejection, fear of experiencing shame and embarrassment and personal growth initiative, moreover in this group, creative stimulation, cognitive encouragement and permissiveness (p<0.05) were positively correlated with using resources and negatively correlated with fears of important others losing interest (p<0.05). Also personal growth initiative was positively correlated with fears of upsetting important others and cognitive encouragement (p<0.05) in students going to colleges without coaching. The present study reiterates that perception of school environment by students is of paramount importance in promoting or hindering the student’s personal growth initiative and subsequently their fear of failure.
