PORTRAIT OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER MUSLIMAT EDUCATION FOUNDATION (YPM) AT KEDIRI: IN QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MANAGEMENT

Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). Keywords: Educational Institution, YPM, NU, Quality Improvement Management ملخص الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو شرح صورة المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء (YPM) كاديري، ومحاولة وصف فعالية مساهمة تطوير منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء (YPM) كاديري في تحسين الجودة. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى وصف هذه المشاكل بشكل متعمق وفقاً للبيانات التي تم الحصول عليها في الميدان وتفسير الباحثة. إن منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء هى احدى المنظمات في المجتمع و هي منظمة و هيئة مستقلة من جمعية نهضة العلماء ولها مسؤولة عن تنفيذ السياسات الخاصة بالأعضاء النساء، ومن بين برامج عمل المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء YPM لتحسين جودة التعليم في كديرى هى تحسين جودة روضة الأطفال ومؤسسة تعليم القرآن، بما في ذلك الجوانب الإدارية والمرافق والبنية التحتية والإدارة والمناهج والموارد البشرية (المدرسون والمديرون والموظفون). مفتاح الكلمات: المؤسسات التعليمية، المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها مظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء YPM، إدارة تحسين الجودة Abstrak Penelitian ini bermaksud menjelaskan potret lembaga pendidikan binaan Yayasan Pendidikan Muslimat (YPM) NU Kabupaten Kediri, dan berusaha mendiskripsikan efektivitas pembinaan PC Muslimat NU Kebupaten Kediri dalam peningkatan mutu. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut sesuai dengan data yang diperoleh di lapangan dan atas penafsiran peneliti. Muslimat NU merupakan salah satu organisasi dari sekian banyak organisasi yang ada di masyarakat. Muslimat NU adalah organisasi masyarakat dan merupakan badan otonom Nahdlatul Ulama yang bertugas membantu melaksankan kebijakan pada anggota perempuan. Diantara program kerja YPM dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di kabupaten Kediri adalah; Peningkatan kualitas Taman Kanak-Kanak dan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an, di antaranya pada aspek manajerial, sarana dan prasarana, administrasi, kurikulum dan Sumber Daya Manusia (guru, pengelola dan karyawan). Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Mutu Sekolah TK Melalui akreditasi se-kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui akreditasi di kecamatan Pucuk Rantau Pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan bagi anak usia dini perlu dilaksanakan dan dibenahi secara sungguh-sungguh. Sebab secara umum berdasarkan dari seluruh standar penilaian TK di Kecamatan Pucuk Rantau belum begitu baik. Hal Ini terlihat dari berbagai hambatan seperti Kegiatan akreditasi yang dilakukan belum dipahami secara penuh oleh seluruh TK yang ada di kecamatan. Sosialisasi yang masih kurang sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan kepada anak didik. Keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana yang ada serta keterbatasan pengetahuan administrasi di sekolah menjadikan hasil akreditasi tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Masih terbatasnya biaya operasional sekolah sehingga gerak percepatan perubahan akreditasi juga lambat. Oleh sebab itu seluruh aspek harus diberdayakan baik sumber daya manusia maupun sumber daya lainnya yang merupakan kunci utama dalam meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kualitas pendidikan. Kata kunci : Mutu Sekolah, Akreditasi Abstract This study aims to determine the quality improvement of kindergarten schools through accreditation in the Pucuk Rantau district of Kuantan Singingi Regency. Based on the results of research conducted through descriptive methods with a qualitative approach to improving the quality of schools through accreditation in Pucuk Rantau subdistrict Management of educational institutions, especially education for early childhood needs to be implemented and addressed in earnest. Because in general, based on all the standards for the assessment of kindergarten in Pucuk Rantau District, it has not been so good. This can be seen from various obstacles such as the accreditation activities carried out not yet fully understood by all kindergartens in the sub-district. Inadequate socialization that has an impact on the quality of service to students. The limitations of existing facilities and infrastructure and limited administrative knowledge in schools make the accreditation results not in line with expectations. The limited operational costs of the school so that the acceleration of changes in accreditation is also slow. Therefore all aspects must be empowered both human resources and other resources which are the main keys in improving and developing the quality of education. Keyword: School Quality, Accreditation

This of the strategies developed in improving the quality of education in educational institutions is one with the establishment of integrated quality management. one model of improving the quality of education is based on integrated quality management theory. integrated quality management in the context of philosophy of education is a continuous improvement methodology that can provide a set of practical tools for every educational institution in fulfilling the absolute needs of customers for these improvements, there is continuous improvement, containing an understanding of continuous improvement that is shaken in the educational world. Meanwhile, everyone wants quality education. Understanding and views on the quality of education so far are very diverse. There are people who think that quality education is one that has quality and many students become human resources that can improve the nation and the country in the future and are seen with evidence of national and international levels. Quality schools are schools that provide foreign language subjects for their children.

To determine the quality of teacher performance, an educational institution must conduct a process of evaluating the performance of its teachers. MTsS YASPI College Foundation Labuhan Deli is one of the educational institutions that always improves the quality of education in schools. Teacher performance appraisal at Labuhan Deli YASPI schools is still done conventionally, so there are many assessment criteria and it takes a long time to evaluate the teacher's performance. This study aims to optimize the teacher performance appraisal process to be faster and more precise. The method used is Profile Matching. The results of this study can determine the teacher's performance more precisely by 100%. So that this research can be recommended as an appropriate system in evaluating teacher performance in schools

Pedagogical Principles

Based on the analysis of educational and regulatory documents, the main pedagogical principles of the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine (SSEQU) are summarized: a) basic pedagogical principles of SSEQU’s activity, which are defined by the legislator as basic principles of state educational policy (people orientedness; primacy of the law; ensuring the quality of education and equal access to education; humanism; democracy; unity of teaching, upbringing and development, etc.); b) principles that determine the legal sphere of the SSEQU’s activity (institutional separation of control functions and functions ensuring the activities of educational institutions; transparency and publicity of management decisions; responsibility and accountability of education authorities and educational institutions to society; public administration; public partnership etc); c) pedagogical principles that guide and structurally organize SSEQU’s activities (universal design and reasonable adaptation; scientific nature of education; diversity of education; integrity and continuity of education; integration with the labor market; freedom of choosing the types, forms and pace of education, educational program, educational institution; academic integrity; academic freedom, etc. Empirical data analysis based on the educational process participants’ views on the factors, which comprise educational quality, revealed that the interviewees valued most the level of qualification, experience, knowledge and skills of their teachers, educational and methodological support, the use of new technologies and innovations in teaching for achieving quality education. Interaction and cooperation between education stakeholders was identified as important by teachers and students, and less important – by parents. Interviews with students - prospective educational experts revealed that they valued the sequence of communication skills, knowledge and skills of expert activity, experience and knowledge of pedagogical activities. Quality of education has always remained an issue for the educational researchers. It is widely believed that quality of education in Sub-Continent is below the international standards. To find out how educational institutions are adding value towards the knowledge, skills, market value and moral upbringing of students and how much students are satisfied with the environment of educational system and the quality of education they receive.Using this information, how a student counseler can benefit the student as well the organization to add value in the education process. This is a case study where a Govt. Intermediate College was selected for interviews and document analysis purpose. Findings based on general perception of the respondents, All the respondents have matriculated from Public School. The findings showed that students were really concerned about the poor discipline of their schools and generally they were not satisfied with the commitment and capability of their teachers. However, they admitted that school contributed towards their grooming and personality building.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. The recent years has seen much discussions concerning ways to emphasize uniqueness of an educational establishment and its operational specifics. Partial solution to these issues is achieved through elaboration and documentation of Concepts, “Educational programs”, “Development programs” for various educational institutions. This is not enough for creation of kindergarten’s outer informational field as an open socio-pedagogic system for prospective customers and consumers of educational services. Thus it is necessary to develop ingenious individualized informational documents for each preschool educational institution. The problem of kindergarten management and quality of education maintenance is discussed. The author concludes, that the positive image enhances competitiveness of a preschool educational institution at the educational services market and should be considered as a crucial resource of preschool educational institution management.

The purpose of this study was the first purpose of this study to find out how the conditions of leadership in the world of education (headmaster) were described, in addition to knowing the leadership styles in education, to find out the leadership role of principals to face obstacles in carrying out their duties including coordinating their luggage. The research method used is literacy collection in the form of papers, books, articles and other readings. This paper complements the discussion about leadership. The existence of leaders is needed in an organization, this is because leaders will determine where they will be taken to the organization, in this case the author focuses on the field of education. In addition, leadership is needed in supporting the process of improving the quality of education, because the style or characteristics associated with leaders can influence and move individuals or groups within the organization they lead. The current leadership style in school management is no longer a force of coercion but uses commitment based on togetherness so that all parties under educational leadership can contribute to achieving the educational goals to be achieved. While the quality of education outcomes is approved by educational institutions at a certain time period. Supportive achievement or educational outcomes (student achievement) can consist of results of academic ability tests, or achievements in sports, senior or certain skills, and can also involve complexity or conditions that are not tangible (intangible) such as discipline, comfort, value respect noble values and so on. In improving the quality of this educational institution, the leadership role has a very strategic function. A leader from an educational institution will be a support for other educational institutions, especially communities, where educational institutions can get quality educational institutions.
