The natural character of formation processes of regions are grounded and factors subjectivity regionalization are considered. A critical analysis of previous and contemporary methodological approaches to social-geographical regionalization of Ukraine are made. Factors determining major modern regional social-geographical differences (geographicalhistorical and ethnogeographical background, economic originality identity of certain regions, regional identity) are identified. Twelve social-geographical regions are allocated based on reasonable methodological approaches. Key words: social and geographical regionalization, social-geographical region, the principles of regionalization of Ukraine, model regionalization.

Objective evidences of geographical-political unbalance in Ukraine, which is clearly manifested in the electoral and political activity of the population and is the result primarily of historical and geographical differences and ethno-geographical regions of the state, are characterized. Twelve political and geographic areas with the characteristics of the party-political preferences and geopolitical consciousness are allocated on the basis of a comparative analysis of presidential elections in Ukraine. It is concluded that the regional mental-political differentiation does not have the character of intercivilizational contrasts. Objective historical and cultural base integrity are defined. Complications of regional-political situation in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century was not immanent conditioned and caused by subjective factors such as a lack of effective internal geopolitics during the 90s and targeted large-scale geopolitical pressure from Russia at the beginning of the XXI century. Key words: geography of elections in Ukraine, territorial-political unbalance in Ukraine, the historical-geographical background of Ukraine, ethnical-geographical situation in Ukraine, the internal geopolitics.

Introduction: The COVID19 pandemic causes strokes in younger patient populations with higher deficits. We examined recent numbers of stroke consults, their age and deficits in a large telestroke program and compared them to 2019 Hypothesis: Increased younger stroke consults in 2020 would involve higher deficits associated with COVID19. Methods: The Institute for Digital Health & Innovation-Stroke Program provides neurology support to 54 spoke hospitals across Arkansas. Stroke consults who received Alteplase during 01/01/20 to 07/31/20 were compared to the same months in 2019. Retrospective analysis included consult age, geographical region, mechanical thrombectomy (MT), deficits (initial and post NIHSS) and outcomes. Age was listed as < 65 or >/=65 yrs. The state was blocked into seven geographical regions. MT was noted and deficits as improved, worsened, same (no improvement) or unknown. COVID19 positivity was unknown. Results: Consult numbers declined in 2020 vs. 2019, 285 vs. 370, respectively. Both years saw MT in approximately 10%; however, 27% went to hospice or expired in 2020 vs. 7.7% in 2019. In 2020 and 2019, those < 65 consults who received MT were similar at 37 and 41% of total procedures, respectively. Pre-pandemic, there were significant differences in consult numbers among the seven regions (X2=30.1,n=370,p=0.037) in 2020, there were none (p=NS). The number of consults < 65 or >/= 65 years were not different between years(p=0.61); however, age had a similar significant effect on the initial NIHSS in both 2019 and 2020 (X2=13.5,n=370,p=0.0037 and X2=10.8,n=285,p=0.012, respectively). Improvement in initial deficit scores did not change (X2=6.9,n=655,p=0.074). No geographical differences were seen (p=0.66). Monthly initial deficits indicated a significant peak rise in the younger consults (< 65) in April 2020. Conclusion: Stroke consult numbers declined by 13% in 2020 but the proportion of young and old were unchanged. In April 2020, younger consults (< 65) experienced a spike in deficits. Further evaluation throughout 2020 is warranted as COVID19 cases spread.

Kata kunci: bahan bakar, biomassa, higher heating value, nilai error, proksimat  Abstract – Biomass is a renewable energy that is very easy to find, environmentally friendly, and quite economical. The existence of biomass can be used as a substitute for fossil fuels, both oil, natural gas, and coal. Analyzes are needed as a basis for biomass as energy such as proximate and heat. The most critical analysis to assess biomass as fuel is the calorific value or higher heating value (HHV). HHV is experimentally measured using a bomb calorimeter, but this measurement is less effective because it requires time and high costs. Research on the prediction of HHV based on proximate analysis has been carried out so that it can simplify and save costs needed by researchers. In this paper, the evaluation of equations is discussed to predict HHV based on proximate analysis on biomass-based on data from previous studies. HHV prediction values using five equations were evaluated with 25 proximate biomass data from previous studies, then compared based on error value to get the best predictions. The analysis shows that Equation A predicts best in 7 biomass, B in 6 biomass, C in 6 biomass, D in 5 biomass, and E in 1 biomass. ‘Here with us.’ Regionalism in Southeast Lithuania: The Case of the Šalčininkai District The different ways in which inhabitants of the Šalčininkai district identify with their land are analysed in this article. It is argued that the socio-cultural memory has the biggest impact on constructing and maintaining a regional identity. Some different ways in which local inhabitants construct cultural boundaries are researched. Theoretical connections between social memory, narratives and regional identity are presented and discussed in the article. Local inhabitants use two identification strategies: 1) identifying oneself as ‘local’; 2) identifying oneself as ‘local’ and possessing one clearly defined ethnic identity. Key words: regional identity, social memory, narrative, regionalism.

Sumary: Based on Martha Acevedo's archival research about 10 de mayo (mother's day) in Mexico and thanks to the theoretical contributions of feminist historians on motherhood, we reflect on the celebration of a unique model of maternity, whose beginnings go back to the second Decade of S. Background: The research on early medieval Pomerania (eleventh–twelfth centuries) and its assemblies discusses a variety of interpretations. Scholars explain veche and its place in the governance of the region based on their understanding of Slavic societies. Historians trace the development of Pomerania during the Early Middle Ages, analyze gradual transformation of its institutions. Recent studies use such concepts as segmentary structures and chiefdom as well as the newest archaeological material. Purpose: The goal of the article is to study the research on veche, particularly the most recent publications. Among them, the works of such historians and archaeologists as Piotr Boroс, Karol Modzelewski, Roman Zaroff, Michaі Tymowski, Michaі Kara, Przemysіaw Urbaсczyk, and others. The paper investigates their understanding of the place of assemblies in the governance of early medieval Pomerania as well as the appliance of such concepts as segmentary structures and chiefdom. Results: Pomeranian veche could be understood both as an element of the early medieval societies and as a way of collective decision-making. The article highlights various approaches to the study of veche, specifically the appliance of such concepts as segmentary structures and chiefdom. The paper investigates their usefulness for the research on early medieval Pomerania and its assemblies. The concepts of segmentary structures and chiefdom describe local communities and regional political formations, respectively. They help to distinguish a few levels of governance, to analyze relations between various parts of early medieval societies, and to trace integration as well as state formation processes. The future studies could continue the discussion about the appliance of different methodological approaches in research on well-known and fragmentary source material. Key words: veche, Pomerania, historiography, segmentary structures, chiefdom.
