This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the model outbound conflict resolution training to improve interpersonal conflict resolution skills in adolescent self . The population was 198 adolescents aged 16-18 years who waitinglist follow the activities of outbound training in TSOT Group Prigen, purposive sampling is done by taking a low score scale resolution of the conflict as much as 30 teenagers who will be divided into two groups: the control group and the experiment group. Calculations made from gainscore value obtained from the pretest and posttest control group and experimental groups with nonparametric statistical Wilcoxon Signed Rank test . Based on the calculation obtained by the Sig . ( 2 tailed) is 0.001 < 0.05 , the obtained results of Ho refused and H1 accepted that there is effectiveness of outbound training model of conflict resolution in improving interpersonal conflict resolution skills in adolescent self.

Gejala awal persalinan akan menimbulkan nyeri yang sangat hebat karena adanya kontraksi uterus dan otot abdomen. Nyeri intra natal adalah suatu nyeri yang dirasakan saat terjadinya proses persalinan (melahirkan). Saat nyeri persalinan muncul, ada baiknya bagi ibu untuk membaca dzikir. Dzikir adalah mengingat Allah SWT dan menghadirkan apa yang tadinya ada di dalam benak untuk kemudian dilafadzkan atau disebut-sebut yang dapat dilakukan secara lisan dengan menggunakan lidah atau bisa juga diucapkan tanpa adanya keterlibatan lidah, yaitu melalui hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembacaan dzikir pada ibu melahirkan terhadap tingkat nyeri intra natal. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Desain penelitian pra eksperimen, dengan rancangan pre test-post test tanpa kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung kepada responden untuk mengukur tingkat nyeri. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik wilcoxon signed rank test dan regresi linier dengan menggunakan SPSS 14. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji statistik untuk nilai pre test dan post test tingkat nyeri diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,02 dengan p < 0,05.Kata kunci: pembacaan dzikir, melahirkan, nyeri intra natal, tingkat nyeriABSTRACTThe delivery or usually called labor process is a process open and thin the cervix, and descent of the fetus into the way of birth. The early symptom of delivery will be appearing very heavy because there are uterus contraction and abdomen muscle. In partum pain is a pain which feel when delivery process happening (labor). When labor pain appears, there is a good for the mother to read dzikir. Dzikir is remembering Allah SWT and make present what before in the mind and then pronounced or make cal can do spoken by tongue or pronounced without there are involving tongue, by heart. The purpose of this research is to know about the influence of reading dzikir to the delivery mother toward in partum level of pain. Technique sampling used purpose sampling. The research of design pre experiment, with pre test-post test without control group design. The sample in this research’s total is 30 respondents. The manner of data was did by direct observation to the respondents to measure pain level. Data analysis used statistic test wilcoxon signed rank test and regression linier in SPSS 14. The type of sport suggested for Diabetes Mellitus patient is Diabetes Gym, but most societies, especially diabetes mellitus patients are lazy to do it. On diabetes mellitus type 2, diabetes gym acts as glycemic control which manages and control blood sugar rate. This research purposes to know diabetes gym influence toward the decrease of blood sugar rate on Diabetes Mellitus patient type 2 in Puskesmas Pakis Surabaya. This research used quasy experiment design. Total of the population of all Diabetes Mellitus patients type 2 is 28 respondents taken by probability sampling - simple random sampling technique; 14 respondents in control group and 14 respondents in treatment group. The independent variable is Diabetes Gym and the dependent variable is the decrease of blood sugar rate. Data are collected by using Glucometer, striptest, needle and observation sheet. Data are analyzed by using Wilcoxon signed rank test with α < 0.05. The result of this research shows that almost all of the respondents in the treatment group have a good category of blood sugar decrease after performing gym, meanwhile almost all of the respondents in control group that do not perform gym have an adequate category of blood sugar decrease. Then, the result is analyzed by Wilcoxon signed rank test and obtained ρ (0,019) < α (0,05) so H0 is refused. It means that there is an influence of diabetes gym to the decrease of blood sugar on the Diabetes Mellitus patients type 2 in Puskesmas Pakis Surabaya. Performing Diabetes Gym influences in decreasing blood sugar rate. Therefore, nurse can take a part in leading diabetes patients to perform diabetes gym so it can be used as the therapy in controlling and decreasing blood sugar rate.

Background: Peripheral neuropathy is a long-term complication that attacks the nerves and loses the sensation of protection which affects about 50% of people with diabetes mellitus (DM). Diabetic foot exercises can help blood circulation, especially in the legs or lower limbs. This researched aimed to analyze the effect of diabetic foot exercise on sensory peripheral neuropathy in DM clients.Method: The study design used quasi-experimental pre-post test with control group. Samples were 28 respondents using purposive sampling and divided into two groups of 14 respondents each. The independent variable is diabetic foot training, and the dependent variable is peripheral sensory neuropathy. Interventions are carried out 3 times a week for 4 weeks. The research instrument was Weinstein Monofilament 10 g Semmes and a diabetic foot training checklist. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon-signed rank test and Mann Whitney test with α≤0.05.Result: The Wilcoxon-signed rank test in the treatment group showed differences in sensory peripheral neuropathy after treatment (p=0,000) and no difference in the control group (p=0.564). The Mann Whitney test results showed differences in sensory peripheral neuropathy between the treatment group and the control group after treatment p=0.039.Conclusion: Diabetic foot exercises can be used as an alternative measure to improve sensory peripheral neuropathy.

ABSTRACT Adult AIDS Clinical Trials Group 5043 examined pharmacokinetic (PK) interactions between amprenavir (APV) and efavirenz (EFV) both by themselves and when nelfinavir (NFV), indinavir (IDV), ritonavir (RTV), or saquinavir (SQV) is added. A PK study was conducted after the administration of single doses of APV (day 0). Subjects (n = 56) received 600 mg of EFV every 24 h (q24h) for 10 days and restarted APV with EFV for days 11 to 13 with a PK study on day 14. A second protease inhibitor (PI) (NFV, 1,250 mg, q12h; IDV, 1,200 mg, q12h; RTV, 100 mg, q12h; or SQV, 1,600 mg, q12h) was added to APV and EFV on day 15, and a PK study was conducted on day 21. Controls continued APV and EFV without a second PI. Among subjects, the APV areas under the curve (AUCs) on days 0, 14, and 21 were compared using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Ninety-percent confidence intervals around the geometric mean ratios (GMR) were calculated. APV AUCs were 46% to 61% lower (median percentage of AUC) with EFV (day 14 versus day 0; P values of <0.05). In the NFV, IDV, and RTV groups, day 21 APV AUCs with EFV were higher than AUCs for EFV alone. Ninety-percent confidence intervals around the GMR were 3.5 to 5.3 for NFV (P < 0.001), 2.8 to 4.5 for IDV (P < 0.001), and 7.8 to 11.5 for RTV (P = 0.004). Saquinavir modestly increased the APV AUCs (GMR, 1.0 to 1.4; P = 0.106). Control group AUCs were lower on day 21 compared to those on day 14 (GMR, 0.7 to 1.0; P = 0.042). African-American non-Hispanics had higher day 14 efavirenz AUCs than white non-Hispanics. We conclude that EFV lowered APV AUCs, but nelfinavir, indinavir, or ritonavir compensated for EFV induction.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi guided imagery dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UNM. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa (laki-laki) yang memiliki kualitas tidur buruk, sebanyak 25 orang yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu 13 orang kelompok kontrol dan 12 orang kelompok eksperimen. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Teknik analisis data menggunakan Mann-Whitney dan Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi guided imagery efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UNM (ρ=0,002 kelompok kontrol dan ρ=0,002 kelompok eksperimen). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah intervensi guided imagery dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur.

Pendahuluan: Terapi mendengarkan Al-Qur’an dan Teknik Relaksasi Otot Progresif merupakan metode non-farmakologi yang dapat menurunkan tekanan darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi mendengarkan bacaan Al-Qur’an (Ayatussyifa) dan relaksasi otot progresif terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan quasy-experiment dengan pretest – posttest control group design dengan total sampel sebanyak 50 responden penderita hipertensi dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan tipe purposive sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini yaitu terapi mendengarkan bacaan Al-Qur’an (Ayatussyifa) dan relaksasi otot progresif sedangkan variabel dependennya yaitu tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik lansia dengan hipertensi dengan menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrument penelitiannya. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan Mann-Whitney U Test (p=<0,05). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pada kelompok perlakuan (sistolik p=0,000), (diastolik p=0,000). Hasil uji Mann Whitney kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol menunjukkan hasil Pre-Sistolik (p=0,739) dan Post-Sistolik (p=0,006) sedangkan Pre-Diastolik (p=0,001) dan Post-Diastolik (p=0,410). Diskusi: Terapi mendengarkan Al-Qur’an (Ayatussyifa)  dan relaksasi otot progresif dapat menjadi stimulus baik yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap tekanan darah baik sistolik maupun diastolik pasien hipertensi. Perawat dapat memberikan terapi tersebut sebagai salah satu pilihan dalam menurunkan tekanan darah para lansia penderita hipertensi.

This quasi-experimental research examined the effects of the process/genre approach (PGA) with the integration of blogs in EFL university-level students’ writing classrooms. This was a mixed-method study in which the participants’ essays and adopted questionnaires contributed to accumulating quantitative data while the interviews and observations provided qualitative data. The study took place over ten weeks at a university in central Taiwan in which paper-pencil instruction was applied in the control group, while blog instruction was employed for the experimental group. The students’ essays were computed by applying a paired-sample t-test, and the questionnaires were analysed by applying a Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine whether there were any statistically significant differences in terms of the students’ writing performance and perceptions toward the PGA and blog writing after comparing the results of the pre-test and the post-test. The qualitative data was analysed to provide in-depth evidence to support the quantitative results. After the data analysis was completed, the paired-sample t-test demonstrated that there were significant differences in terms of the students’ writing performance in both groups, which demonstrates how the PGA developed the EFL university students’ writing performance. Because the students had more interactive opportunities to be exposed to the language inputs, this approach facilitated their English writing performance. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test presented that the students revealed positive attitudes toward writing blogs and also positive affections toward blog writing because they had higher levels of satisfaction and lower levels of apprehension when blogging. Moreover, there was a significant difference in terms of the factor of “learning with peers” in the control group since the PGA provided more interactive and communicative opportunities. The students also indicated greater understanding about their writing samples in the experimental group, since they were allowed to refer to the instructional contents on the blogs anytime and anywhere.

Penanganan dismenore selama ini lebih banyak kepada pemberian terapi farmakologik tetapi jarang menggunakan fitofarmaka seperti akupresur dan aromaterapi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana aplikasi akupresur menggunakan aromaterapi essential oil lemon untuk mengatasi nyeri dismenore pada  remaja. Jenis  penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  kuantitatif berjenis quasi eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini berjumlah 185. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan pendekatan non-probability sampling (sampling jenuh). Penentuan jumlah sampel dalam peneliti ini memakai perhitungan dari         Sastroasmoro & Ismael dengan jumlah sampel 52 terdiri dari 26 kelompok eksperimen dan 26 kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon signed rank test untuk menguji masing-masing kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dan Mann Whitney untuk membandingkan antara keduanya. Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon signed rank test pada kelompok eksperimen (p=0,000) dan kelompok kontrol (p=0.000) menunjukkan penggunaan terapi essential oil lemon efektif untuk mengatasi dismenore.  Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan Mann Whitney mendapatkan nilai p 0,000 lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05 (p< 0,05). Artinya akupresur menggunakan aromaterapi lebih efektif untuk mengurangi dismenore dibandingkan akupresur saja. Akupresur yang diberikan membuat responden rileks dan imunitas meningkat, ditambah lagi pemijatan menggunakan aromaterapi yang dihirupkan sampai pada paru memberikan manfaat baik secara psikologis dan fisik.

ABSTRAKKecemasan merupakan fenomena psikologis yang umum dirasakan oleh setiap individu. Mahasiswa sebagai penuntut ilmu tidak pernah lepas dari tuntutan tugas dan lingkungan, membuat mahasiswa sering dihadapkan pada situasi yang memicu timbulnya berbagai hambatan. Terdapat berbagai upaya untuk mengurangi kecemasan tersebut, salah satunya adalah dengan mewarnai mandala. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh mewarnai mandala terhadap menurunnya kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test post-test control group. Responden terdiri dari 20 mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan ringan sampai sangat berat, yang terbagi atas kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil analisis penelitian menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank test ditemukan perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan mewarnai mandala dengan nilai Z = -2,831 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005 (p0,05). Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa mewarnai mandala dapat menurunkan kecemasan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga melakukan analisis antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Hasil analisis menggunakan ujiMann-Whitney diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,404 (p0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan hasil penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol.Kata Kunci: Kecemasan, Mewarnai Mandala, MahasiswaABSTRACTAnxiety is a psychological phenomenon that is commonly felt by everyone. Students with various activities can also experience anxiety. Students in the academic environment, who have never been separated from the demands of the task, make students often faced with the situations that trigger anxiety. There are various efforts to reduce this anxiety, one of which is to color the mandala. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of coloring mandalas on decreasing anxiety in students. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. Respondents consisted of 20 students who experienced mild to extremely severe anxiety, which was divided into experimental groups and control groups. The results of the study analysis using Wilcoxon signed rank test found differences before and after the mandala coloring treatment given with a value of Z = -2,831 with a significance value of 0,005 (p 0,05). The results of this analysis indicate that coloring mandalas can reduce anxiety. In addition, this study also conducted an analysis between the control group and the experimental group. The results of the analysis using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0,404 (p 0,05). The results of the analysis showed that there were no differences in the results of the decrease in anxiety levels in the experimental group and the control group.Keywords: Anxiety, Coloring Mandala, Student

Munculnya konflik antar budaya disebabkan oleh kurangnya kompetensi multikultural oleh individu untuk menghormati keberadaan orang lain yang berbeda budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran berdasarkan pengalaman dan pelatihan penyadaran untuk mengingatkan kompetensi multikultural siswa BKPI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe eksperimen sejati yang menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa yang memiliki kompetensi multikultural dalam kategori rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kompetensi multikultural. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Wilcoxon signed-rank test untuk mengukur skor siswa sebelum dan sesudah perawatan diberikan. Uji Mann-Whitney U digunakan untuk mengukur perbandingan model yang lebih efektif digunakan.
