<p>:This study aimed at analyzing the presentation of concepts and questions on <br />theworksheet vocational high school students firt class a semester publications Cahaya Mentari. Methods of research using qualitative descriptive methods, in this study the authors did not conduct experiments or field research. Method used is literature study method in accordance with references from varioussources related dengnan issues to be addressed. Population taken in this study are the concepts and issues urian short and multiple choice, to serve as study sample. Review the concept based on common benchmark compilation of textbooks, while the review examined a matter of using the rules about the presentation in the form ofdescriptions and multiple choice according to the study of materials, construction andstudy of language. </p>

This research aimed to find out the influence of students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program. The research method used was descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all Grade X students in Yogyakarta which total number were 180 respondents. The data collecting technique was using questionnaires which then was analyzed using descriptive analysis and regression. The results of this study were (1) Students’ interests in choosing mechanical engineering vocational program was high. (2) There was a positive and significant influence from students’ own understanding, family, school, and society towards students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program, (3) The four variables, together, have positive and significant influences towards vocational high school students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program in Yogyakarta..

AbstrakPenelitian ini memiliki latar belakang yang membahas, bahwa materi Barisan dan Deret pada siswa sangat penting untuk menentukan tentang sebuah daftar bilangan yang mengurut dan memiliki suatu pola atau karakteristik tertentu dalam kehidupan nyata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kesulitan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan untuk menyelesaikan soal materi Barisan dan Deret. Subyek yang digunakan adalah 12 orang siswa kelas XII di SMK Kartini Bhakti Mandiri Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang hasilnya diperoleh dari pemberian soal sesuai dengan indikator Barisan dan Deret. Analisis dilakukan dengan memberikan tes tertulis berbentuk soal uraian yang berjumlah 5 soal. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah studi pendahuluan. Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan menjelaskan, bahwa kemampuan siswa pada materi Barisan dan Deret yang masih tergolong rendah.  Dari rekapitulasi perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, didapat bahwa persentase kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan siswa yakni sekitar 84,5% pada indikator menyatakan suatu situasi atau masalah sehari-hari tentang Barisan dan Deret ke dalam bentuk model matematika dan menyelesaikannya.  AbstractThis research has a background that discusses, that the material Sequence and Series in students are very important to determine a list of numbers that sequence and have a certain pattern or characteristic in real life. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of difficulty of Vocational High School students to solve the Sequence and Series material problems. The subjects used were 12 students of class XII at SMK Kartini Bhakti Mandiri in West Bandung Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive which results are obtained from the provision of questions following the Sequence and Series indicators. The analysis was carried out by giving a written test in the form of a description of a total of 5 questions. This research is a preliminary study. The results of the data analysis and discussion explained, that the ability of students in the material Sequence and Series are still relatively low. From the recapitulation of calculations that have been done, it is found that the percentage of errors that most students make is around 84.5% on the indicator stating a daily situation or problem about Sequences and Series in the form of mathematical models and solving them.

Distance learning or online learning is the recommended alternative form of learning. But it is still uncertain, what competencies are important to be mastered by students. This study aims to examine what important competency components need to be prioritized and how the relationships between these components. The research method used is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were 32 junior high school students. This study concludes that students have the competence of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), products, and characters that vary and the relationship between STEM and products is stronger than the character components.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan survey. Responden adalah 117 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kinerja mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui kinerja mengajar guru. Kata Kunci : kinerja mengajar guru, motivasi belajar siswa EFFECT OF THE TEACHING PERFORMANCE OF TEACHERS  ON STUDENTS' MOTIVATIONThe purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the teaching performance of teachers on students' motivation. The research method used survey. The respondents were 117 Vocational High School students in Cimahi. Data were analyzed using regression. The results showed a significant influence on the teaching performance of teaching to the students' motivation. Thus the students 'motivation can be enhanced through the teachers' teaching performance.Keywords : teachers’ teaching performance , student motivation

This study discusses what are the factors that causing misuse of katakana in high school students. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive method. Type of mistake analyzed in this research is the error one with the classification of the cause of the error, such as Over-generalization, ignorance of rule restriction, incomplete application of rule, and false concept hypotesized. result from this study are the students are having difficulties on katakana letters that have similarity form and katakana that have double consonant or known as sokuon on gairaigo vocabulary.

Environmental literacy as individual knowledge and understanding of aspects of the build environment, the principles that occur in the environment, and is able to act in maintaining environmental quality which is applied in everyday life. Changes in the environment each year will occur both in local and global contexts, so the goal of increased environmental literacy is to prepare people who understand and can cope with environmental issues, so it can be prepared reformer environmental agents that have a positive attitude and action on the environment. The purpose of this research is to gain an environmental profile literacy levels of students Vocational High School (SMK) in West Java. To achieve these objectives, the research method used is descriptive research method. The results showed that the knowledge and understanding of vocational students about the environment, including the unfavorable category. This suggests that environmental literacy vocational students are low. Environmental literacy is essential in tackling the environmental problems. This shows that the necessary efforts to improve environmental literacy vocational students. One of the efforts is the learning environment must be integrated on activities intrakulikuler with election materials in line with the skills of vocational students. In the process of learning needs to be done by implementing the learning that adopts konstruksivisme.

The purpose of this study is to measure brand loyalty and brand sensitivity among high school students. The research sample was composed of 338 vocational high school students in a district of Southeastern Anatolia. Questionnaire was used as data collection tool in the study. The questionnaire included demographic factors, socio-cultural factors and psychological factors to measure brand loyalty and brand sensitivity. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS program. Findings have shown that there was no significant difference between men and women with both brand loyalty and brand sensitivity, and that education level of parents, families, peers and social class positively affected brand sensitivity. It has also been found that psychological factors had a positive effect on brand loyalty and brand sensitivity of young people.

Mathematical literacy is a person's ability to formulate, apply, and interpret mathematics in various contexts. This study is a qualitative descriptive that aims to describe the ability of mathematics literacy of students in thesubject of exponents and logarithms in Vocational High School. Data analysis is done by collecting data, reducing data, and verifying data. The results obtained in this study are subjects with values above the MEC cansolve the problem by using information, performing representations based on concepts, using procedural knowledge in the form of algebraic manipulation in accordance with the nature of exponents and logarithms,and can connect it with the real world to determine the outcome of completion, according to level 4 PISA. Subjects with the same value as MEC can solve problems, interpret by using the properties of exponents andlogarithms, and implement procedures according to the 3rd level of PISA. Subjects below the MEC can only solve commonly resolved problems using simple properties, corresponding to the PISA 1st level.
