The condition of the cardiovascular system is one of the important criteria for assessing the impact of sports training on the human body. According to the indicators characterizing the state of the cardiovascular system, it is possible to trace the changes associated with fluctuations in the level of training, as well as to identify signs of overload as early as possible. The study of adaptive reactions of the cardiovascular system in athletes under physical activity is an important indicator for sports practice. The purpose of the study was to investigate the quantitative criteria for assessing the state of the cardiovascular system and approaches to correct the functional state of qualified athletes specializing in table tennis. Materials and methods. Studies of heart rate variability, quantitative and qualitative indicators that sufficiently reflect the autonomic functions of the body were used in order to assess the state of autonomic regulation in highly qualified athletes. Systematic physical activity causes a significant restructuring of the cardiovascular system and leads to morphofunctional changes in the mechanisms of the heart. Depending on the autonomic regulation of heart rhythm, there are different ways of myocardial adaptation processes. The balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic links of autonomic rhythm regulation is reflected in the activation of the left ventricle. Results and discussion. Adaptive changes of the cardiovascular system to competitive and training loads in the competitive period in qualified athletes are characterized by a significant decrease in heart rate (from 84.75±1.74 beats / min to 74.8±0.38 beats / min). In addition, a significantly faster process of restoring heart rate was established after exercise in the group of qualified athletes, compared with athletes of the category 1 at 4 (p >0.05) and 5 (p >0.05) minutes, respectively. According to the indicators of autonomic regulation of heart rhythm, activation of the parasympathetic link prevails in athletes of the category 1 in comparison with qualified athletes activation (according to high-frequency component, p <0.05). Significantly higher rates of individual parts of the body compared to low-skilled athletes were found out: the hormonal system (the indicator responsible for the hormonal part of the body – very low-frequency component) and the nervous system (indicators of the sympathetic nervous system – low frequency component). There are significantly higher values of the magnitude of the heart rate spectrum and high-frequency component at p <0.05, which indicates a higher power of all units of the parasympathetic regulation in the category 1 in relation to masters of sports and candidates masters of sports. Conclusion. The analysis showed that the spectral characteristics of heart rate variability significantly differ between groups of athletes with different dominance that are observed only in terms of high-frequency component, which in turn led to a change in the sympathetic-vagal balance

Thyroid hormones can affect the cardiovascular system directly by binding to nuclear thyroid receptors, as well as indirectly by changing the neuro – humoral status of the body as a whole. The aim of the work was to assess the effect of levothyroxine suppressive therapy on the regulation of the heart rate and activity of the sympathoadrenal system, as well as the level of cortisol in the blood of young patients with thyroid cancer. It is shown that the effect of suppressive therapy with levothyroxine on the state of the cardiovascular system is manifested in an increase in the risk of tachycardia and changes in heart rate variability associated with the body mass index. Patients with thyroid cancer had a sharp decrease in normetanephrine (norepinephrine metabolite) in the urine. The levels of metanephrine (metabolite of adrenaline) and dopamine in the urine was dependent on the tonus of the autonomic nervous system and blood pressure. The revealed shifts indicate that against the background of subclinical hyperthyroidism, the mechanisms aimed at stabilizing the heart rate and preventing the effects of hyperstimulation of thyroid and beta-adrenoreceptors of the myocardium are included.

Problem setting. During the action of response to the epidemic in Ukraine in 2020 – 2021 [1-9], several additional rules, requirements, recommendations, restrictions on the behaviour by employees during to perform all or part of their work duties or to supply their services were introduced in the teams of enterprises, organizations, institutions, which significantly affected on the full implementation of labour and social rights established by international law, laws of Ukraine and collective agreements.  The materials presented in the article highlight are some generalized results of the survey of representatives of trade unions and employees of state organizations/institutions on the questionnaire "Status of observance of workers' rights in the context of changes introduced to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)". Recent research and publications analysis. Noting the high interest of domestic and foreign scientists in the impact of coronavirus disease on various spheres of human life and society [13-15], special researches and materials of international organizations (ILO, WHO, OECD, etc.), it should be noted that the issue of workers' rights of the state organizations/institutions in the context of changes introduced to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease remain poorly described and poorly researched and little-understood subject. Highlighting previously unsettled parts of the general problem. The purpose of this article is to clarify the situation regarding changes in working conditions of employees of state organizations/institutions under the influence of measures introduced to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and substantiate the relevance of social dialogue as an effective tool for crisis management and increased protection of employees' rights workers of the state organizations/institutions and local governments in terms of COVID-19. Paper main body. The article highlight is some generalized results of the questionnaire survey conducted in April-May 2021 among employees of state organizations/institutions and representatives of their trade unions. The body of the text of the article reveals the idea and methodology of the questionnaire, reflects the assessments of employees of state organizations/institutions on employers' measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the state of affairs with the provider of individual and collective protection of employees in government organizations/institutions, the impact of measures to prevent the spread of COVID 19 on working conditions and the state of protection of workers' rights. According to the questionnaire results, the changes introduced as a result of COVID-19 led to an increase in the volume of work performed (40.0%), an increase in the complexity of work performed (45.5%), an increase in the duration of work performed (40.7%), a decrease in wages (17, 8%) employees. More than 52% of employees have faced and/or continue to face difficulties in adapting to the changes brought about by COVID-19: almost every tenth employee has personal difficulties in arranging a remote workplace (12.3%), mastering digital (online) work technologies (9.5%) etc. Most employees feel a lack and insufficient level of provision of labour protection measures by the administration of the organization/institution. And the incidence of coronavirus among employees of government organizations/ institutions is many times higher than the average incidence among the population of Ukraine (~ 5.3%) [20], and almost twice the incidence of COVID-19 among the adults' population in the country (~ 22%)) [21]. At the same time, only 30.8% of representatives of state organizations/ institutions expressed readiness to be vaccinated against coronavirus soon, 29.4% - against vaccination, another 39.8% - were undecided. And this is even though the fact that currently, about 65% of Ukrainians are ready to be vaccinated against COVID [21]. The results show a high level of psycho-emotional stress in which employees are due to long-standing fears for health (their own and family's) (38.9%), feelings of insecurity and anxiety (37.0%). Another 16.1% of workers are concerned about the decline in family income since the beginning of the pandemic and the deterioration of health (14.2%). Conclusions of the research and prospects for further studies. The pandemic of COVID-19 has caused unprecedented problems and caused drastic changes in the activities of government organizations/institutions and changes in working conditions. These changes strengthen the responsibility of employers of government organizations/institutions for continuous monitoring of the situation, timely identification and effective implementation of tasks to take appropriate measures to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 in workplaces. The priority of our further research is the development of social dialogue between employers and trade unions as a mechanism for ensuring labour and socio-economic rights of employees of government organizations/institutions.

Introduction. Laboratory practice is characterized by an increased hardness of the work process. In the research presented, a complex comparative assessment of the working conditions and functional condition of the employees of the laboratory center “Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Voronezh Region” was carried out, in which a laboratory information system (LIS) is planned to be introduced into the practice. The assessment of the conditions of the labor process and the functional state of the employees was also carried out in the testing laboratory of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Tambov Region, where the LIS software operates in the regular mode. Material and methods. The study was conducted on 170 specialists of testing laboratory centers. There are given data on the assessment of the hardness and intensity of the labor process of laboratories of different types of activity at workplaces of testing laboratory centers in the Voronezh and Tambov regions. There was performed a clinical examination of specialists of testing laboratory centers on the indications of the cardiovascular system: dynamics of the heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, minute blood volume during the working day. Results. Based on a comparative analysis of the results obtained, conclusions were drawn about the peculiarities of working conditions and performance indices of employees of testing laboratory centers in the dynamics of the working week. Differences in the formation of fatigue in the specialists of laboratories for hygienic and epidemiological profiles of activity among employees of a testing laboratory center, working without an information system introduced into the professional activity, have been observed in the second half of the working day, whereas those working with a laboratory information system the state of the body is correct from the physiological positions. Discussion. The class of labor conditions for specialists in testing laboratory centers, regardless of the profile of activity according to the severity of the work process, was identified as hard work of grade 1 (3.1), the class of working conditions for the intensity of the labor process as a hard work of grade 2 (3.2). Evaluation of the functional state of the body according to the cardiovascular system testifies to a noticeable fatigue in the second half of the working day among specialists working without software and information support. Conclusions. The data obtained as a result of the research made it possible to develop and offer a complex of preventive measures aimed at optimizing working conditions for the introduction into the professional work of personnel of testing laboratory centers. As a result, additions were made to the Instruction on labor protection of specialists of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Voronezh Region.

Introduction. Unfavorable tendencies in the health of the working population, especially those with high neuro-emotional stress in professional activities, the scarcity of information about the impact of professional factors on the health and performance of police officers, which is characterized by nervous and hard work, determine the relevance of this study. The aim of the study is to study the biological age with an assessment of the rate of aging of individual body systems and the level of somatic health of police officers.Materials and methods. We examined 110 men — police officers. Biological age was determined by an automated expert system of diagnostics of aging by the method of A.A. Podkolzin, V.N. Crutko. To quantify the level of somatic health the method of G.L. Apanasenko was used. We used clinical, physiological and computational methods to study the state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, static balancing, interviewing methods and mathematical statistics.Results. The accelerated rate of aging was revealed in 65.4% of the examined patients. Accelerated aging of the neuropsychic, respiratory and cardiovascular systems was the most common (97.3%, 94.6% and 75.5%, respectively). A decrease in functional activity of blood circulation was revealed in 70.9%. The coefficients of endurance of cardiac activity and efficiency of blood circulation exceeded the norm, which indicates a possible weakening of the activity and the state of fatigue of the cardiovascular system, myocardial weakness. The ratio of pulse wave velocity in the vessels of muscular and elastic types below the norm was determined in 40.9% of the surveyed, which may indicate the presence of transitional and late-stage hypertension, 62.2% of such persons have an accelerated type of aging of the cardiovascular system. The proportion of persons with accelerated type of aging of the respiratory system significantly (p<0.05) exceeded the proportion of persons with normal and delayed type of aging. The proportion of persons with an accelerated rate of aging was significantly higher in persons with a duration of static balancing below the standard (79.1% [71.5–86.7] versus 20.9% [13.3–28.5], p=0.009).Conclusions. Accelerated rates of aging of cardiovascular, respiratory and neuropsychic systems, low functionality of the body can be regarded as a manifestation of occupational stress. The discrepancy between the subjective assessment of their health and objective indicators of the rate of aging, the level of somatic health can be caused by the socio-psychological characteristics of the service and the tightening of medical requirements for police officers.

Introduction. One of the main factors shaping the health of the working population is occupation conditions. According to official statistics, about a quarter of employees are exposed to production factors that do not meet sanitary standards. Materials and methods. A study of the working conditions and health of workers of the leading professional groups of mining and mechanical engineering enterprises, including an assessment of the occupational doses of noise and vibration, was conducted; morbidity with a temporary disability (TDA), occupational morbidity, clinical and laboratory indicators, including the leading indicators of hemodynamics, integral indicators of the cardiovascular system, the rate of acceleration of ageing, types of adaptive reactions of the body, the analysis of endothelin concentration, the state of the antioxidant status and lipid spectrum, indicators of rheovasography and stimulation electroneuromyography of the extremities, bone-dystrophic changes according to radiography and ultrasound bone sonometry, psychological testing data. Results. The main harmful factors of working conditions of workers of the leading professional groups of mining and machine-building enterprises are noise, vibration (general and local), and the labour process’s severity. According to the results of the analysis of the incidence of TDA, diseases of risk at all studied enterprises are the pathology of the respiratory and musculoskeletal systems. The first rank place in the structure of occupational pathology is occupied by vibration disease. An increase in the integral indicators of the cardiovascular system activity, characterizing the tension of adaptive mechanisms in the group of trained workers, was revealed. According to the study, the characteristic early signs of markers of the risk of developing occupational diseases are an increase in the concentration of endothelin and a decrease in the rate of excitation along with the motor and sensory fibres of the peripheral nerves. Conclusion. Based on the results obtained, prevention and rehabilitation programs have been developed, taking into account the calculated probationary doses of noise and vibration, the detected early signs of occupational diseases, aimed at preventing the development of health disorders and restoring damaged functions in workers exposed to physical factors of the production environment.

Introduction. Vibration disease occupies one of the leading places in the structure of occupational pathology and is caused by exposure to both local and general vibration. Since the mechanism of local and general vibration effects on the body differs, it can be assumed that their effect on the cardiovascular system will have distinctive features. The aim of the work was to study the content of specific autoantibodies, which characterize the state of the cardiovascular system, in patients with vibration disease caused by exposure to local and combined vibration. Material and methods. The relative levels of specific autoantibodies to antigens, reflecting the state of the heart and the vascular bed, were determined in the blood of persons with vibration disease caused by exposure to local and combined vibration (29 and 36 cases, respectively). Results. 18 to 26% of persons with the vibratory disease caused by the effect of combined vibration were found to have elevated levels of autoantibodies to components of the membrane and cytoplasm of myocardial cells, components of the cytoplasm of neutrophils and endothelial cells, β1-adrenoreceptors, PAPP-A, and cardiomyosin protein. In the group of individuals exposed to local vibration, the frequency of occurrence of elevated levels of antibodies by more than 20% was detected only for β1-adrenoreceptors and PAPP-A protein. Elevated levels of other indices were observed in 10-14% of individuals in this group. The levels of antibodies to components of the membrane of myocardial cells and platelets were higher in patients with the vibratory disease caused by exposure to a combined vibration than in individuals with vibratory syndrome caused by the action of local vibration. conclusion. Elevated levels of auto-AT to platelet membrane structures may be due to changes in their membranes caused by the accumulation of highly toxic lipid peroxidation metabolites.

Metallurgy is exposed to a complex of production factors, the levels of which often exceed the hygienic standards. Working conditions are characterized by grade 3 (harmful) 2-4 degrees, which determine the level of occupational morbidity (PZ). The PP indicator at ferrous metallurgy plants in recent years has fluctuated from 11.9 to 20.2 cases per 10,000 employees that have passed their MEP. In the structure of PZ 59.5% of cases are respiratory diseases. A trend has been established in these enterprises to increase deaths in the workplace, mainly from diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Introduction. Digital technologies are actively used in the work of specialists of medical centers of various profiles, which causes the impact on employees of a number of professional factors that determine the characteristics of their work. The aim of the study is to evaluate the influence of professional factors on the functional state of the employees' body and the glutathione system as an objective indicator of stress based on the analysis of the subjective perception of the medical center employees of the specifics of working with personal computers and psychophysiological testing. Materials and methods. The study involved 109 specialists of medical centers (25 ophthalmologists, 31 representatives of the secondary medical staff - nurses and paramedics, 53 office employees). The anonymous survey concerned the assessment of working conditions and their impact on the functional state of the body of the respondents. Performance and stress tolerance indicators were evaluated using three standard questionnaires. The study of 66 subjects' levels of glutathione in the blood: total, reduced, oxidized and the ratio of reduced and oxidized - was used to analyze the relationship of the neuro-emotional nature of labor with the reaction of oxidative stress. Statistical processing of the obtained data was carried out using traditional methods of variation statistics and calculating the value of the odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI). Results. The survey revealed a significant proportion of people in all groups of respondents who constantly use computer technology in their work. Describing the quality of the processed information, doctors more than representatives of other groups note its complexity, importance, negative emotional color, a high degree of responsibility and tension. Doctors more often than average medical staff and office workers associate the manifestation of fatigue with an uncomfortable state of the visual organ, nervous system, and musculoskeletal system. The subjects showed reduced performance and stress tolerance with the most pronounced negative trends in the group of doctors. Changes in the glutathione system were detected, indicating the presence of oxidative stress in 40% of ophthalmologists and office workers, and in half of nurses. Conclusions. The work of specialists of medical centers of various profiles in accordance with their assessment is characterized by high nervous and emotional stress, due to the need to process a significant amount of complex and important professionally significant information. Subjectively noted by respondents the influence of working conditions on the functional state of the body is confirmed by indicators of the glutathione system, which can be used as indicators of nervous and emotional stress.
