AbstractThe microbial contamination of water miscible metalworking fluids (MWFs) is a serious problem in metal industry. A good maintenance of MWF re-circulation systems can extend the lifetime of coolants and ensure the quality of the tools produced. In MWFs, as in the other water-based environments, microorganisms usually live in the form of biofilms, the communities of bacteria and fungi attached to the surface of sumps, metal parts and also to each other. Biofilms exhibit very high resistance to biocides. The effect of biocides that are used as additives to MWFs to control the growth of the bacterial and fungal microbiomes (microorganisms characteristic to the individual coolant system) have become the subject of research only in recent years. There are also only sparse reports on the impact of biocides on microorganisms growing in biofilms in MWF installations. Fast growing mycobacteria are important members of these biofilm communities. Their presence has recently been linked with the occurrence of cases of hypersensitivity pneumonitis, a serious respiratory disorder in the metal industry employees. The new, relatively fast and inexpensive techniques to assess the species diversity within MWF microbiomes and their population size should be developed in order to control the microorganisms’ proliferation in MWFs and to diminish the occupational exposure to harmful bioaerosols in metal industry.

It also explains the most important social threats that affect the upbringing of young people such as family, friends and media. The study concluded to show how to face these threats, and what is the appropriate mechanism to overcome them and reduce the impact, and even used positively to young people from harm. And that social media is a double-weapon. It can play a positive role in influencing young people's thinking on the one hand, and it can have a negative impact on young people's thinking on the other hand. We must concentrate on the role of institutions of socialization in forming the personality of the individual from their childhood until their youth, so the institutions of socialization should play effective positive role.

The essence of the economic security of the state as a state of the economy, for which stable and scientifically grounded methods of neutralizing the negative impact of internal and external threats are presented. The purpose of the article is to investigate the definition of «security» and «economic security» and to clarify its content. The object of the study is the concept of «security» and «economic security». Research methods - comparative and expert analysis, methods of historical, logical and systematic analysis. The analysis of the literature on the interpretation of economic security makes it possible to conclude that there is no consensus among economist scholars on the definition of its essence and constituent elements. Further development of market relations is impossible without studying the theoretical and methodological aspects of this problem and creating an effective mechanism for ensuring economic security, so the problem is to understand the essence of economic security and to clearly identify its constituent elements, as well as timely detection of the impact of negative threats-factors in order to create their own system economic security, which will help to avoid the devastating effects of the national economy and to ensure its competitiveness. In general agreement with the opinion of scientists, it should be emphasized that most authors, in defining the economic security of the state, only distinguish the interests of the individual, society and the state as a whole, while the interests of economic entities - enterprises that are the main link of the state's economy, are not given sufficient attention. Summarizing the opinion of economists, it can be noted that national economic security is a state of protection of interests and ties between individuals, enterprises and states against internal and external threats. Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to compare oral health–related quality of life (OHRQoL) in children with and without molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH) and to assess the impact of severity of MIH on OHRQoL in children between 8–10 years using the German version of the Child Perceptions Questionnaire (CPQ-G8-10). Materials and methods Children aged 8–10 years were recruited at a pediatric dental clinic in Hannover, Germany. Half of them were affected by MIH. Participants were evaluated for presence and severity of MIH (MIH-TNI), plaque and dental caries status. Children were asked to answer the CPQ-G8-10. Statistical analysis was performed using GraphPad Prism-software version 8. Results One hundred eighty-eight children (mean age 8.80 [± 0.84]; 43.10% female) were included in the study with 94 children having MIH. CPQ-G8-10 mean scores in MIH-affected children were significantly higher than in children showing no MIH (13.87 [± 8.91] vs. 4.20 [± 3.74]; p < 0.0001) showing that MIH has negative impact OHRQoL. Similar trends were seen in all four subdomains. Regarding severity, CPQ-G8-10 mean scores increased from mild to severe forms of MIH. Conclusion Children affected by MIH show an impaired OHRQoL compared to children without MIH; with increasing severity, OHRQoL gets more impaired. Clinical relevance To understand the patient’s perception and the individual oral health needs will help to prioritize MIH and recognize its impact.

An integral part of the implementation of any reform is the emergence of the risks of its negative impact on one or another area of region development. The decentralization reform in Ukraine is not an exception. In its the context the most probable occurrence of negative phenomena is in the border regions, which could be prevented by first detecting them. In the scientific article, the authors focus on the analysis of a number of challenges for the development of border regions in the context of decentralization reform. Given the territorial remoteness of the central regions of the country and the capital, which today serve as areas of concentration of investment and economic activity, the border regions traditionally (this is typical for the border areas of the EU member states) lag behind the rest of the regions by the main socio-economic indicators of development. Among the main challenges facing the border regions of Ukraine today are the following: the provision of competitiveness in the context of European integration processes and reduction of the border barrier function; low level of economic security; the outflow of human capital and the issue of ethnic minorities. Based on an expert survey of representatives of the fifteen united territorial communities (UTCs), the possibility of such risks of decentralization in the border regions were defined as following: groundless use of local budget funds; emergence of significant imbalances between delegated new authority and available financial resources of the community; increasing uneven development of territories within the community; increasing uneven development of communities within the country; deterioration of the availability and quality of providing educational and medical services; deterioration of the quality of local government; reducing of the state influence on the management of local development processes; radicalization of political unions representing the interests of ethnic minorities in places of their compact residence; further economic decline of the territory of communities and so on.
