Without the music applications’ assistance, students would face difficulties in making lyrics. This paper aims at analyzing the ability of students in making lyrics containing national character with the assistance of MuseScore music application. The method used was content analysis using computer media. The data were collected through surveys and collections of the midi files containing songs’ melody, the lyrics of which were written afterward by students. Sixty-six students from the primary school teacher education program were taken as the samples. The results showed that the majority of students already had a good ability to choose diction in the lyrics of the song and to write the lyrics that match the designated theme. However, students in general did not have adequate ability in making the lyrics of songs that matched the melodic phrase of the song.

Changing the learning system during the pandemic period from offline to online requires teachers' readiness, including elementary school teachers. Demands for mastery of technology in learning and the characteristics of elementary school students who need direct guidance in learning are teachers' problems. However, not all primary school teachers are ready for technology-based online learning. This study aims to investigate the readiness of primary school teachers in online learning in terms of three aspects, namely cognitive (knowledge and perception), affective (emotional condition), and moral (skills). The research method uses a mixed-method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire deepened by interviews. The research respondents were 22 elementary school teachers in Tlekung village, Junrejo district, Batu City. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the teacher had a low readiness to carry out online learning in general. The level of primary school teachers' readiness to carry out online learning still needs to be improved, especially in the knowledge and skills factor by providing online learning training experiences.

The methodology in this research is qualitative with documentation dan observation approaches. The data source was PSTE sudent batch 2017 on President University, namely 4 participants who were chosen based on research needs. The result of self reflection study found that readiness of PSTE student to become elementary school teachers varies depending on their standard on self reflection. In addition, it was also found that there were two groups of PSTE students in this study, namely 1) a group of student  who made self-calling as standard in their self regulation and 2) a group of student who made competence as standard in their self regulation. The readiness of PSTE student to become elementary school teachers could not be standardized by the self-reflection model because it was personal, subjective, and dynamic following the development of each individual. But, self reflection could be tool for helping PSTE student to prepare themselve as a prospective teacher in the future. The findings from this research can be used as a reference for teacher education program on enhancement PSTE student readiness especially on pedagogy and English language skills and develop habit of self-reflection as prospective teacher.
