Abstract:The Toraja church youth fellowship is a complex creature oh God, who has many needs that must be met, one of which is about his faith in the Jesus Christ. This is what shows that today’s youth are meaningless without God, therefore the presence of a counselor to help them get out of life’s problems and find answes to their stuggles is very very meaningful. Of couse the Lord Jesus Himself should be an example for every counselor in dealing with counselees who are in trouble. Therefore the Gospel of John is present and provides information and a description of the forms of counseling used by Jesus, and it is very well applied among young people today. Not a few of the Toraja Church Youth Fellowship that we encounter experience struggles with their bad relationship with God, and in fact they are the ones who must receive good counseling guidance and in accordance with what the Lord Jesus teaches. The stories of the scribes, Nicodemus, and women of Samaria give a good description of the counseling services that Jesus did to them, for counselors in facing the Toraja Church Youth Fellowship in today’s world. Hal inilah yang menunjukan bahwa Pemuda masa kini tidak berarti tanpa Tuhan, oleh karena itu kehadiran seorang konselor untuk menolong mereka keluar dari permasalahan hidup dan menemukan jawaban atas pergumulan yang dihadapi, sangat-sangat berarti. Tentunya Tuhan Yesus sendirilah yang patut menjadi teladan bagi setiap konselor dalam menghadapi para konseli yang sedang dalam permasalahan. Karena itu Injil Yohanes hadir dan memberikan informasi serta gambaran bentuk-bentuk konseling yang digunakan oleh Yesus, dan hal itu sangat baik diterapkan di kalangan kaum muda masa kini. Tidak sedikit dari PPGT yang kita jumpai mengalami pergumulan akan hubungannya dengan Tuhan yang tidak baik, dan sesungguhnya mereka-mereka itulah yang harus mendapatkan bimbingan konseling yang baik dan sesuai dengan yang di ajarakan oleh Tuhan yesus. Kisah Para ahli-ahli taurat, Nikodemus, dan perempuan Samaria cukup memberi gambaran yang baik tentang pelayanan konseling yang dilakukan oleh Yesus terhadap mereka, bagi para konselor dalam menghadapi PPGT di jaman sekrang ini. during the time of growth and development, youth needs a place to share their experience in family, school, church, and society. The church needs to evaluate the youth ministry that has been doing, so the church can see the effectivitas of each event they did to reach young people. Youths are called and sent to participate in every ministry in the midst of the church. Being a participatory, creative and innovative youth in the midst of the congregation, not a youth who must always be served or demand service from people around him (church). The youth service in the church can be interpreted as that youth are the church itself as individuals who have experienced the work of salvation and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, so it means that the presence of the church youth in his life is a picture of the church's presence itself, with the duties and responsibilities of the church that has been inherent automatically in him. Youth have the same duties and responsibilities as other congregations. The method used is a qualitative method.

Counseling is a form of ministry that plays an important role in everyone's life, because everyone is always faced with various problems and in general people often have difficulty dealing with and resolving their problems. Therefore, a competent counselor is needed to provide careful consideration so that it can determine the right decision. The qualification of a counselor greatly influences effective counseling services. The example of a competent counselor can be learned from Jesus Christ because Jesus' loyalty as a counselor causes everyone to always seek and seek advice from Him. The principle of counseling services carried out by Jesus based on the Gospel of John uses very interesting counseling approaches according to the context of the counselee where every problem faced by the counselee can be resolved properly. The main thing that is always made by Jesus in counseling services is solving the problem of sin and sharpening the correct recognition of God because it is the foundation for the counselee in achieving life change. Life change is the main goal in every effective counseling service that is in accordance with Bible principles. Abstrak: Konseling merupakan bentuk pelayanan yang memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan setiap orang, sebab setiap orang  selalu diperhadapkan dengan berbagai masalah dan pada umumnya orang sering mengalami kesulitan menghadapi dan menyelesaikan masalalnya. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan seorang konselor yang kompeten untuk memberikan pertimbangan yang matang sehingga dapat menentukan keputusan yang benar. Kualifikasi seorang konselor sangat mempengaruhi pelayanan konseling yang efektif. Teladan seorang konselor yang kompeten dapat dipelajari dari diri Yesus Kristus sebab loyalitas Yesus sebagai konselor menyebabkan setiap orang selalu mencari dan meminta nasihat kepada-Nya. Prinsip pelayanan konseling yang dilakukan oleh Yesus berdasarkan Injil Yohanes menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan konseling yang sangat menarik sesuai konteks si konseli dimana setiap masalah yang dihadapi konseli pasti dapat diselesaikan-Nya dengan baik. Hal utama yang selalu dibuat Yesus dalam pelayanan konseling adalah penyelesaian masalah dosa dan mempertajam pengenalan yang benar kepada Allah karena hal tersebut merupakan fondasi bagi konseli dalam mencapai perubahan hidup.  Perubahan hidup adalah sasaran utama dalam setiap pelayanan konseling yang efektif yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Alkitab.

Pemuda-pemudi adalah generasi ke depan dalam keluarga, gereja, dan bangsa. Pemuda-pemudi merupakan pondasi dan generasi penerus gereja yang harus dibina dengan baik. Masa depan gereja terletak pada generasi muda yang akan menggantikan para orang tua, untuk melanjutkan pelayanan dalam gereja sehingga gereja terus berkembang dengan baik. Namun, pemuda-pemudi zaman sekarang kurang memiliki ketaatan dan kesetiaan kepada Tuhan, sehingga dalam mempertahankan imannya kepada Tuhan Yesus sangat susah. Oleh karena kurangnya bimbingan rohani sebagai pondasi dalam kehidupan mereka untuk membentengi setiap godaan maupun tawaran dunia yang membuat iman mereka hilang. Orang tua dan gereja sangat berperan penting dalam pertumbuhan iman mereka. Jika pemuda-pemudi memiliki kerohanian yang baik, memiliki hubungan yang dekat denganTuhan, makaia juga pasti memiliki iman yang teguh dan dapat mempertahankan imannya di dalam Tuhan Yesus. Young people are the next generation in the family, church and nation. Young people are the foundation and the next generation of churches that must be nurtured well. The future of the church lies in the younger generation who will replace the parents, to continue the ministry in the church so that the church continues to thrive. However, young people today have less obedience and loyalty to God, so that in defending their faith in the Lord Jesus is very difficult. Because of the lack of spiritual guidance as a foundation in their lives to fortify every temptation or offer of the world that makes their faith lost. Parents and the church are very important in the growth of their faith. If young people have a good spirituality, have a close relationship with God, then he also must have firm faith and can maintain his faith in the Lord Jesus.

A novel titled BumiCinta written by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy takes place in the Russian setting, in which Russia is a country that adopts freedom. Russia with various religions embraced by its people has called for the importance of human freedom. Free sex in Russia is commonplace among its young people. Russia is a country that is free with no rules, no wonder if there have been many not embracing certain religion. In fact, according to data Russia is a country accessing the largest porn sites in the world. Habiburrahman in his Bumi Cinta reveals some religious aspects. He incorporates the concept of religion with social conflicts in Russia. Therefore, the writer reveals two fundamental issues, namely: 1. What is the characters' religiosity in the Habiburrahman El-Shirazy'sBumiCinta? 2. What is the characters' religiosity in the BumiCinta in their relationship with God, fellow human beings, and nature ?. To achieve the objectives, the writer uses the religious literary criticism based on the Qur'an and Hadith. It emphasizes religious values in literature. The writer also uses the arguments of scholars and schools of thought to strengthen this paper. This theory is then used to seek the elements of religiousity in the Habiburrahman El-Shirazy'sBumiCinta. In this novel, the writer explains there are strong religious elements and religious effects of its characters, especially the belief in God, faith and piety

Abstract History shows that the use of the Bible by Christians has changed over the centuries. With the digitization and the ubiquitous accessibility of the Internet, the handling of texts and reading itself has changed. Research has also shown that young people’s faith adapts to the characteristics of the ‘age of authenticity’, which changes the role of normative institutions and texts in general. With regard to these developments this article deals with the question: How relevant is personal Bible reading for the faith formation of highly religious Protestant German teenagers? Answers to this question are provided from previous empirical surveys and from two qualitative studies among highly religious teenagers in Germany. The findings indicate, that other spiritual practices for young people today are more important as a source of faith than reading the Bible. The teenagers interviewed tend to seek an individual affective experience when reading the Bible, so that the importance of cognitive grasp of the content takes a back seat to personal experience.

This chapter focuses on the experience of a nurse when working with children and adolescents with Non-Epileptic Seizures (NES). Young people today have challenges on many levels, and for some, the total load becomes so great that they develop “seizures” for which a biological cause cannot be identified. Young people who develop NES have often been overloaded for a long time, many describing family problems, long-term bullying problems, exclusion or problems at school. The nurse is also increasingly meeting young people who struggle to adapt to youth culture. They are exhausted from trying to find a balance in their lives—a balance between achievement and rest, between their own needs and society’s demands, between “what the mind wants” and “what the body can tolerate.” Some come from families who have strong ideals that are not compatible with youth culture. This can result in a loyalty conflict that seems impossible to solve.

This paper discusses the reasons why Italian young people today are not in a position to develop a memory of their own regarding the fascist regime of the recent past. Neither families, nor schools and media, could transmit experiences and provide learning opportunities that enables young men and women to construct an adequate image of that period of their historical heritage. Fascism has become the object of a process of collective removal.

One of the major theological questions confronting the post-Nostra Aetate Church is how to relate the Christian conviction in the universal saving significance of Jesus Christ with the affirmation of the permanence of Israel’s covenanting with God. The meanings of covenant, salvation, and the Christ-event are all topics that must be considered. This paper proposes that covenant, understood in a theological and relational sense as a human sharing in God’s life, provides a useful Christological and soteriological perspective. Jesus, faithful son of Israel and Son of God, is presented as covenantally unifying in himself the sharing-in-life between God and Israel and also the essential relationality of God. The Triune God’s covenanting with Israel and the Church is seen as drawing humanity into an ever-deepening relationship with God through the Logos and in the Spirit, with both Israel and the Church having distinct duties in this relational process before God and the world.
