The Text-Based Education and Indonesian Language Learning Relationship
Environmental issues are still the case today. There are different ways to address and address environmental issues, but they depend largely on society in the environment. According to Arslan and Albay (in Sukma et al, 2020) solving environmental problems will be possible only with effective environmental education. The ability to write is one of the skills that is a principal goal of Indonesian learning. It can be applied in the form of descriptive text, exposition, short stories, novels, and so forth. Environmental education with text writing skills can be combined in Indonesian language learning. This combination will make learners more creative because it produces text from the environment they see either directly or through the media. The author distributed a questionnaire containing 10 statements regarding the importance of environmental education in Indonesian language learning. Based on the results of the angket survey, it could be concluded that most of the respondents agree that the presentation of environmental materials in text-based Indonesian learning is one of the most effective ways and will affect students' love, knowledge, and concern regarding the environment.
