This type of research uses a quantitative approach.  The quantitative approach is the approach used in research by measuring the indicators of the research variables in order to obtain an overview between these variables. Quantitative research is used to examine the population or sample. Data is collected using instruments or measuring instruments, then analyzed statistically or quantitatively. The Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya runs the Independent Student Exchange program by accepting 32 inbound students and sending outbound students as many as 167 students throughout Indonesia outside Java, where the archipelago module is a compulsory subject offered by the Ministry of Education and Research and Technology. In this activity, there were several recipient universities that only provided online learning, so students couldn’t directly explore the knowledge gained during the PMM program. However, this doesn’t dampen the enthusiasm of students to continue learning about the diversity that exists in Indonesia.

Abstract. Academic Ethics and Integrity – Thoughts on a New University Course. The study discusses the origin and the necessity for the subject Academic Ethics and Integrity by presenting the highlights of professional discourses of the Hungarian and Romanian language area. The cited literature shows that in the last decades’ research ethics and integrity have been breached in many ways. The crisis management strategy involves the enactment of a law that introduces Academic Ethics and Integrity as a compulsory university subject. The present study delineates the topics related to the subject (e.g. questions regarding the integrity of researcher/teacher and publishing activity; legal documents, presentation of the organizations), but the most important scope was to adjust the topics of the subject to the particular situation of the faculties of theology. Thus, the new compulsory subject offers freedom to raise awareness about the meaning of theology and its role in society and academic setting. Lastly, it is argued that the subject gives excellent space for debating and construing questions of intellectuality in the 21st century. Nowadays, English is one of the most important languages in Vietnam, so students at all levels in Vietnam have been studying English as a compulsory subject with special attention to speaking skills to communicate and work in the integration world. However, speaking skill is still strongly not successful with students, especially technical students at universities. Therefore, this small-scale research aims to investigate the difficulties which technical students at IUH usually faced when practicing the skill, and the efficiency of experiential activities in improving learners' speaking skills. This research used quasi-experimental method. The sample of the research is 120 technical students in 4 English classes in the second semester of the school year. After distributing a questionnaire to 120 technical students at IUH, the findings indicated that speaking skill is essentially evaluated by most of the students, although they still have some difficulties when practicing. It was also evident that students were interested in experiential activities which were applied to improve students' skills, such as watching films and telling opinions, role play, communicate in group work, and so on. These activities not only enhance students' positive motivation in studying English and speaking skills but also improve their communicative skills.

The purpose of this evaluative research is to assess the implementation of the Muhammadiyah learning program which is a compulsory subject in all Muhammadiyah and Aisyiah Universities (PTMA). The study was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka (Uhamka) from January to April 2020. This research is qualitative. The informants were selected using a purposive technique, consisting of students, lecturers, Uhamka leaders, and the leadership of the Muhammadiyah Higher Education and Research Council. Data was collected using interview techniques, Focused Group Discussion (FGD), and documentation. The data were analyzed by evaluating the CIPP model. The results of the study show that there are still several obstacles in the learning of Muhammadiyah, among others, in terms of context, there are still debates about the content of the curriculum. Renewal efforts have been made with the publication of new textbooks. There were obstacles regarding the availability, qualifications, and certification of Kemuhammadiyahan lecturers from the input side. In terms of process, the duration of learning which is only 2 credits is felt to be insufficient to implement learning with empowerment strategies. Finally, in terms of products, despite the development of student views about Muhammadiyah, these developments have not significantly changed the religious traditions they believe in so far.

History has been adapted as a compulsory subject since 1931 alongside math and science. However, learning history in Indonesia could be a challenge since Indonesia placed in the second lowest of literature behaviour. For the past decades, educators have been implementing the term of in class edutainment and gamification. One of the forms of edutainment could be accomplished by Augmented Reality. This project is conducted to provide an alternative learning tool in history learning, especially for elementary school students who tend to have a negative paradigm that learning history means reading textbooks. In addition, the function of Augmented Reality will be beneficial to students and teachers in order to support multiple learning styles without losing its substance as it is based on the K13 curriculum
