A new and extremely effective teaching-learning-assessment methodology is introduced for continuous active learning in outcome based education (Teaching, Learning and Evaluation-OBTLE). This method addresses the modern methods of education like personalized learning, participatory learning, peer evaluation, revised Bloom's Taxonomy, and all graduate Attributes including the corresponding competencies and performance indicators. Most importantly this method encourages socratic questioning which facilitates inquiry based learning, which is being projected as the future of learning in any context. The method may be extremely useful to identify and take remedial measures for students who may need additional attention from teachers.

Outcome Based Education (OBE) is now a days becoming a mandate in almost all higher educational institutions across the country as it turned out to be an authorized signatory member of Washington Accord (WA) in 2014 through the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The fundamental concept of outcome-based education is to ensure continuous improvement at all levels of teaching – learning – assessment process. Though there are several programmes were organized to build the competency of OBE, the present traces of implementation of OBE in educational institutions clearly demonstrate the lack of understanding the real implementation of OBE and strictly it is a serious concern. Even these traces are observed in the programs, which are accredited. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to enable the stakeholders to truly understand some of the basic elements of OBE, which will really help them to deploy the philosophy of OBE in the way it is expected for continuous improvement.

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese.Physical Education is devoted to the physical development of the student and like other school subjects is evaluated to ensure that it produces defined outcomes efficiently and effectively. In order to reassure the government and the public of their achievement, physical educators must maintain high standards with regard to planning, delivery and evaluation of their program. To accomplish these aims, teachers in physical education must possess the necessary knowledge and techniques that can be applied to teaching, learning and overall program effectiveness. Therefore, the primary objectives of this project are threefold: (1) To provide in-service physical education teachers with training and support to conduct a self-examination of their programs in accordance with professional standards of practice to determine areas of effectiveness and those requiring improvement. (2) To provide in-service teachers with current educational theory and practice before investing resources to improve program quality and evaluation effectiveness, and (3) To provide a framework for the development of performance indicators to evaluate the Hong Kong physical education program.本研究計劃目的為:(1)透過自我評估方法,讓體育敎師有系統及全面地瞭解本身在敎學、課程設計及學生學習表現的情況:(2)提供不同階段的工作坊,以協助敎師認識如何應用自我評估方法及表現指標;(3)透過不同的工作坊,敎師將會以科學化的方法檢討本身在體育科所面對的問題。完成是項計劃,參加者可獲得一套「自我評估及表現指標敎材套」作為日後參考及應用。

INTRODUCTION: The effective implementation of comprehensive care to the population of health services makes it necessary to think about the qualification of professionals and work processes through dialogical activities based on the exchange of knowledge and practices in an engaged way and the recognition of the singularities experienced in the daily life of the patient. thus enabling the acquisition of new skills, processes that challenge the consolidation of SUS. OBJECTIVE: Describing the training process developed through Continuing Education in urgent and emergency care in the qualification of medical professionals and nurses in the Regional Health Coordination Center of the Municipality of São Paulo. METHODOLOGY: Reflective descriptive study of the type experience report based on the conduct of health training conducted through continuing education based on active learning methodologies. RESULTS: Based on the situational diagnosis, the need to carry out activities aimed at meeting situations more focused on urgency and clinical emergencies was identified. Thus, training was proposed for doctors and nurses in these services, according to topics discussed with the team and coordination of the units. CONCLUSION: The formulation and use of management and evaluation mechanisms based on strategic planning and analysis of monitoring and performance indicators, led to the creation of training based on active learning methodologies with specific themes aimed at these groups of professionals.

Purpose The French academic libraries directors association (ADBU) launched and updated a European comparative study on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in Academic Libraries over the 2013–2017 period. The purpose of this paper is to briefly present the ADBU initiative; its main focus is how to use these figures to ground decision making process, notably so as to better assess the contribution of libraries in student success or research performance. Design/methodology/approach As universities and academic libraries are facing research evolutions and teaching/learning new models, a strong increase in students’ number is observed everywhere in Europe. This trend will most probably continue in the coming years and the pressure on academic libraries will grow. That is why the French ADBU took the initiative to launch a European comparative study on key and performance indicators in Academic Libraries over the 2013–2016 period. Data were updated in 2019, covering 2017 figures and including additional countries. Findings Thanks to the European partners and the help of a consultant firm, the first observations were updated with the 2017 figures and the country scope grew broader. Libraries buildings and equipment, space and seats per student, opening days and hours, frequentation rate, library services, users training, staff per student/documentary budgets/total expenditure, staff training, documentation loans/consultation/downloads: these KPI are gathered and can be compared in both relative and absolute value. Originality/value The ADBU initiative is unique, results are widely shared.

With this work, we aim to propose a didactic application of the news genre, from the perspective of critical reading practices in Portuguese language teaching, to approach the experiences of dissident gender and sexuality people who are being viewed and represented by the media hegemonic in Brazil. Therefore, we offer teachers 5 texts and 10 activities that can be used for the development of a didactic project that articulates several areas of knowledge and that is also built from an educational vision that dialogues reading, criticism , teaching, learning, assessment and self-assessment. In this sense, due to the theme we are dealing with, we assume a political-epistemological tone combating gender and sexual violence, with education being our battlefield.

In this study the authors analyze the effects of e-government reforms that began in mid-90ies by confronting the promises which these reforms made to government performance in the period before and after the reforms took place. The authors use fiscal and performance indicators of the Slovenian government and courts to argue that e-government did not yield any notable effects on the state performance. Finally, the authors analyze the reasons why e-government technology cannot be regarded as sustainable and suggest a different approach towards researching how to sustainably improve governance for generations to come.

The article analyses various approaches to assessing the PR activities of commercial organizations and public authorities. The author concludes that there is no comprehensive methodology for analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of PR activities. This indicates the relevance and the need to develop a special methodology to identify relevant and potential sources for the formation and development of a complex image and reputation characteristics of public authorities with which citizens of the Russian Federation could operate. The basis of the proposed theory is the materials of works on communication by G. Lasswell (model of mass communication, pentad). The method is a system of evaluation parameters, performance indicators, and analytical tools for each structural component of such activities, as well as an algorithm for their analysis and evaluation. When developing this methodology, we try to take into account the maximum number of criteria and performance indicators, but in practice, it is not always possible. To increase the effectiveness of the methodology, the author conducts the structuring of the pentad, which allows to distinguish the main processes of PR activity of a public authority. The assessment of each component of the pentad is a separate study in which we can identify the relevant PR activity processes that require adjustment.
