The Management Information System is a series of information subsystems that cover thewhole and have been arranged in an integrated manner that is able to move data so that itbecomes information through several ways to increase productivity similar to the model andnature of managers on the basis of predetermined criteria. The management informationsystem is defined as a pyramid building whose base layer is information then followed by anexplanation, status explanation, and so on. Management information systems rely heavily onelements that will produce an information system that suits their needs. imbalances that meetin an embodiment of these elements which will create a slightly incorrect information whichwill result in errors in every decision making in an organization or company. Therefore it isvery necessary to understand an understanding of the elements in a management informationsystem, especially operators that produce very accurate and precise information for a groupor company.

Abstract This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the Accounting Information System (AIS) and Management Information System (SIM) in Padang Adat Village as a source of budgeting information for the development of Ecotourism in the tourist attraction of Ubud's Monkey Key. Data collection is carried out through literature studies, verification and direct observation in the field, interviews and observations. The place of this research is in the traditional village of Padang Tegal and the Ubud Forest tourist attraction. Based on the research results of accounting information systems and management information systems can help the development of Ecotourism in the tourist attraction of Ubud's Monkey Forest through information generated and used as material for decision making by the Padangtegal village through the effectiveness of accounting information systems and the effectiveness of management information systems. Keywords: Effectiveness of Information Systems, Ecotourism Development Abstrak Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas Sistem Informasi Akuntansi (SIA) dan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) di Desa Adat Padang tegal sebagai sumber informasi pembuatan anggaran untuk pengembangan Ekowisata di objek wisata Monkey Forest Ubud. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, verifikasi dan pengamatan langsung di lapangan, wawancara serta observasi. Tempat penelitian ini adalah di desa adat padang tegal dan objek wisata monkey forest Ubud. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian sistem informasi akuntansi dan sistem informasi manajemen dapat membantu pengembangan Ekowisata di objek wisata Monkey Forest Ubud melalui informasi yang dihasilkan dan dijadikan bahan pengambilan keputusan oleh desa pekraman padangtegal melalui efektifitas sistem informasi akuntansi dan efektifitas sistem informasi manajemen. This article aims to explain the role of Management Information Systems in the educational or academic fields, especially in schools. Education is a process of learning the knowledge, skills and habits of a group of people passed down from one generation to the next through teaching, training and research. In the world of technology education is very important because at this time almost every activity carried out using technology and does not rule out the possibility that in the world of education also has used information technology, the Management Information System (SIM) is the application of information systems within the organization to support information- information needed by all levels of management. Important role of SIM in the school to facilitate managing school data, Implementation of Management Information Systems (SIM) in Islamic Middle School Darul Qur'an Padang has student data, teacher data, student attendance list data, attendance list of teachers and employees, extracurricular data, eye data lessons, teacher picket schedule data, MID semester value data and semester value data, extracurricular or personal development data, study group data and additional study data for class IX. What kind of software tool would people ideally like to use in order to facilitate a collaborative decision-making process in order to arrive at the best decision, in the shortest possible amount of time, with the strongest support by as many members of the group as possible, while also enabling new members of the group to easily understand why a certain decision was made one way and not another, even after several months or even years later? This chapter presents some grounding theories for building robust corporate management Information Systems. The chapter presents a theoretical analysis of what can be encountered nowadays within modern organisations, which relates with multiple reality decision-making. The author also discusses theoretical and practical aspects related with the Management Information System contexts and the Management Information System interactions of corporate decision-making.

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a data processing procedure based on the information technology as a tool to produce the information in a timely and effective way to support the management in decision making process. In developing a management information system, quality approach has become essential factor due to the function of quality control in assuring the performance of the organization activities. Establishing of Management Information Systems at the higher education institution driven by many reason, such as: (1) Management Information Systems is designed to support the operations, management, and decision functions of an organization, (2) Management Information Systems enable the organizations planning, control, and operational functions to be carried out effectively and the means of efficient coordination between Departments; quick and reliable referencing (3) Management Information System could be a tool by striving to  highest quality standards in the teaching and learning process, (4) Management Information Systems provides a valuable time-saving benefit to the workforce in term of quick and reliable referencing; access to relevant data and documents; use of less labor; improvement in organizational and departmental techniques; management of day-to-day activities and (5) Management Information Systems can effectively respond to the changing of society demands in their interest in dependable and reliable information as well as easily accessible with  interactively forms. This paper describes the quality approach in developing of Management Information system in Higher Education Institution, which highlighted the role Management Information Systems plays in the success of the operation and in allowing the higher education institution to evolve and meet the challenges posed by the government, students and other stakeholders.

The management information system used in the organization has now increased when seen from its efficiency and effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the use of information systems in an organization. Moreover, these organizations are large organizations such as M organizations, which have developed and have representation in all regions in Indonesia. Improving the performance of organizations in the future requires an information system and information technology. management information system is an information system designed to provide complete data as a basis for decision making in managerial activities. The use of management information systems in organization M has been applied well and maximally. The use of management information systems in M organizations has embodied a culture of collaboration within the organization. The management information system in organization M has become the foundation for leadership in taking policies / decisions.
