The research population was all 116 Pharmacy managers/owners in Mataram City. In this study, only two hypotheses were accepted, namely the second and third hypotheses, besides that the hypothesis was rejected. The results showed that human resources had a negative and insignificant effect on managerial performance at the Mataram City Pharmacy, while Information Technology and Management Accounting Systems had a positive and significant effect on managerial performance. Meanwhile, environmental uncertainty does not strengthen or weaken the influence of human resources, information technology and management accounting systems on managerial performance. Keywords : Human Resources; Information Technology; Management Accounting System; Environmental Uncertainty; Managerial Performance.

ITB STIKOM Bali is a technology-based university so that all business processes, especially related to academics, student affairs, and finance, utilize information technology. Management of the information system and technology is carried out by the Computer and Network Center unit (Pusat Komputer dan Jaringan - PUSKOMJAR). In the management of Information Technology (IT) services, an agreement is needed in the form of Service Level Management (SLM) which contains the level of service, quality of service, and complaints handling, so users’ needs are aligned with the system developer. Meanwhile, in managing the internal system of ITB STIKOM Bali, the agreement between PUSKOMJAR and related units is only in the form of submitting a form for making or changing the system. Therefore, it raises a problem if there is a mismatch in the manufacture or development of the system because there is no contract document that regulates in detail about the system. Hence, designing an SLM of IT and system services at ITB STIKOM Bali to overcome these problems is necessary. The research presents a case study by analyzing and designing the SLM of service system and IT in ITB STIKOM Bali. The applied research method is literature study and observation, analysis of existing SLM, designing new SLM, and conclusions. The result of the research is a document of SLM for internal IT and system services at ITB STIKOM Bali. Based on the analysis and design of SLM, the SLM document can help the PUSKOMJAR in documenting IT service information and making it easier for users to get information related to the provided IT services.

Technology has become an important component used by humans to facilitate them in finishing work in this digital era. XYZ institution utilizes technology, especially in the field of e-government to help each employee in doing their duties and responsibilities. In carrying out the responsibility as a government agency especially that is involving or related to the field of information technology may sometimes encounter problem. To find out the extent of information technology management in the XYZ institution, an audit is required. An audit, in the form of COBIT 5 framework within the DSS Domain, was carried out to oversee the work as well as infrastructure management within the information technology area in the XYZ institution. The result of the audit conclude that the within the DSS domain the organization reached level 2 which means task are being done but not yet managed by the organization. There are rooms for improvement by establishing the process through standard operation procedures (SOP).

The study reported in this paper examines students' perception of the use of weblogs as learning tools; it also explores evidence of learning within blog postings. Two Ryerson University courses in Information Technology Management that require students to use weblogs are taken as examples. Twenty-two students from these two courses participated in an online survey concerning their blogging experience. The participants had very good computer knowledge - most of them had previous experience using blogs. Most of them thought that building and maintaining a blog was an easy task. However, the research shows that students' perception concerning the use of blogs as educational tools was neutral-students also perceived the impact of using blogs on their ability to learn the course material as neutral. The study shows a lack of clear communication between instructors and students, which could have had a negative impact on students' learning experience. Furthermore, the study indicates that most students perceived the content they posted in a somewhat negative way. A content analysis performed on 22 blogs demonstrates that that the objectives of each course played a significant impact on the evidences of learning apparent in students' blogs. Students in group B demonstrated more evidences of learning then students in group A. Overall, the study shows that the use of blogs as learning tool in university classrooms is promising. Providing students with clear goals, objectives and expectations could help them to build and maintain their blogs in a way that could be more beneficial to their learning experience.

PurposeThe dynamic capabilities view is invoked to hypothesize relationships among the service supply chain management (SSCM) process capabilities using the information technology management (ITM) process capability. This study argues that ITM will have an impact on the service performance management (SPM) process capability only when it works through mediators and demonstrates the impact by using the framework of SSCM process capabilities.Design/methodology/approachThis study is based on a survey using quantitative data collection to empirically test the research framework. The proposed framework and hypotheses were tested using a mail-in survey of the service industry in Thailand. The statistical analysis of data acquired from the survey was performed using structural equation modeling.FindingsThe results support the existence of a mediating role for the ITM process affecting the SPM process. This study identifies the role of ITM and emphasizes the urgent need for firms to embed other mediating factors into their approaches to achieve SPM process goals in the service supply chain context.Research limitations/implicationsThe study offers important implications to researchers as well as practitioners by highlighting the significance of mediating roles for ITM to achieve SPM process.Originality/valueThis research is among the initial attempts to argue the impact of ITM on SPM through mediators.
