ABSTRAKBahasa adalah salah satu alat yang digunakan masyarakat untuk berkomunikasi. Bahasa selalu mengalami perkembangan dari waktu ke waktu. Bahasa merupakan salah satu kekhasan yang dimiliki oleh suatu negara dan untuk mencerminkan negara tersebut. Pada era globalisasi seperti saat ini informasi mudah sekali diakses terutama pada media online. Banyak informasi-informasi dari luar yang masuk ke negara menggunakan bahasa asing terutama di Indonesia. Bahasa asing yang kebanyakan digunakan yaitu Bahasa Inggris. Karena Bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa internasional, sehingga mempunyai peran penting dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Walaupun ada bahasa internasional tetapi sebagai warga negara seharusnya tetap mempertahankan dan mengembangkan bahasa Indonesia. Karena bahasa Indonesia merupakan ciri khas dari negara Indonesia. Bahasa Inggris memang bahasa internasional yang harus dipelajari. Tetapi bukan berarti melupakan bahasa Indonesia yang menjadi ciri khas dan alat pemersatu bangsa. Ilmu pengetahuan yang ada bisa dikembangkan dengan bahasa Indonesia, karena tidak semua masyarakat mengetahui bahasa Inggris. Hal tersebut bisa membantu memudahkan masyarakat dalam mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan dan sebagai usaha untuk melestarikan bahasa Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Bahasa Indonesia; Era Global; Ilmu PengetahuanABSTRACTLanguage is one of the tools used to communicate with the community. Always have a language development from time to time. Language is one of the peculiarities that are owned by a State and to reflect the country. In the current era of globalization such information easily accessible especially in online media. A lot of information from outside the country to use foreign languages especially in Indonesia. The foreign language most used Language, namely United Kingdom. Because the language of the United Kingdom is the international language, so it has an important role in science and technology. Although there are international language but as citizens should maintain and develop the languages of Indonesia. Because the language of Indonesia is typical of the State of Indonesia. The language of the United Kingdom is indeed an international language should be learned. But that does not mean forgetting the Indonesia language that characterizes and unifying the nation. Existing knowledge can be developed with the language of Indonesia, because not all people know the language of the United Kingdom. ABSTRACT<br />This article  aims to describe steps in planning Bahasa Indonesia in the global era. It  focuses on the challenge and and anticipation , human resource development, guidingance, socialization, and <br />elements of foreign languages especially English in the use of Indonesian. The method which is used in this article  is  descriptive analysis, which describes things dealing with Language <br />planning of Bahasa Indonesian. The data source of this article is the article or articles discussing about language planning of Bahasa Indonesia itself. The result of this article is a strategic plan for <br />language development and guidance in the global era, including the controlling of foreign language elements, especially English in the use of   Bahasa Indonesia.<br />Keywords: language planning, guidance, development<br />ABSTRAK<br />Tulisan ini  bertujuan  untuk mendeskripsikan   langkah-langkah perencanan bahasa  Indonesia  dalam era global.  Fokus tulisan ini adalah tantangan dan penanggulangan, peningkatan sumber daya manusia, pembinaan, pemasyarakatan,  dan unsur-unsur bahasa asing khusunya bahasa Inggris dalam pemakaian bahasa Indonesia.  Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah deskriptif analisis, yaitu mendeskripsikan  hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan ikhwal perencanaan bahasa Indonesia. Sumber data tulisan ini adalah  tulisan atau artikel  yang membicarakan ikhwal perencanaan bahasa Indonesia.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah  rencana strategis   yakni langkahlangkah pembinaan dan pengermbangan bahasa  Indonesia dalam era global, termasuk penanggulangan unsur-unsur  bahasa asing khususnya bahasa Inggris dan penyelarasannya  dalam pemakaian bahasa Indonesia.   <br />Kata kunci: perencanaan  bahasa, pembinaan, pengembangan

AbstrakBahasa merupakan sarana untuk berkomunikasi antar manusia yang berguna untuk memperoleh pemahaman dan pengetahuan. Bahasa mengantarkan manusia untuk memahami yang ada disekitarnya dan mengantarkan untuk memiliki pemahaman dan pengetahuan sehingga mempunyai keahlian khusus. Era Global ini manusia mendapat banyak pengaruh budaya asing yang masuk kesebuah negara. Era Global mempengaruhi banyak hal mulai dari gaya hidup, makanan, pola pikir dan masih banyak yang lainnya, termasuk bahasa. Bahasa yang semakin mendunia dan digunakan oleh semua manusia sebagai bahasa dunia yaitu bahasa Inggris. Bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa dunia tetapi yang menjadi bahasa pertama dari sebuah negara yaitu bahasa negara itu sendiri. Bahasa Indonesia digunakan sebagai bahasa resmi negara, jati diri bahasa bergantung pada kemampuan bahasa dan keberhasilan mengembangkan bahasa itu sendiri. This chapter reports on the creation and evaluation of the Language Education Videogame Evaluation Rubric (LEVER) which, it is hoped, will be of benefit to those involved in the teaching and learning of foreign languages. Based upon a sociocultural model of language development, this research is unique in the manner in which it draws on up-to-date best practice in the domains of both language pedagogy and videogame design. This chapter will then report on the application of the LEVER to two titles which have been created to teach a foreign language, in order to both to test the games for quality and the rubric itself for rigour and ease-of-use.

Abstrak: Kompetensi Minimal Profesi Sekretaris Direksi di Sepuluh Perusahaan Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap kompetensi minimal yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang sekretaris direksi agar memiiki kemampuan yang tinggi guna penyelesaian tugas dan tanggungjawabnya dengan baik. Diharapkan juga agar penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi calon sekretaris direksi dalam mempersiapkan dengan tepat dalam membangun kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan profesi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi utama yang harus dimiliki sekretaris direksi adalah pribadi yang dapat dipercaya, memiliki perhatian pada pekerjaannya, memiliki pengetahuan berbahasa asing, memiliki keahlian menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing, memiliki ketrampilan berkomunikasi serta memiliki pengalaman kerja di bidang perkantoran dan tata usaha kantor. Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Sekretaris. Abstract: Minimum Competence Secretary of Director in Ten Indonesian Companies. The purpose of this study is to map the minimum competencies that must be owned by a director's secretary so that they have a high ability to properly complete their duties and responsibilities. It is also hoped that this research can be a reference for prospective secretaries of directors in preparing properly in developing competencies that are in accordance with the needs of the profession. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the main competencies that the directors' secretaries must possess are individuals who can be trusted, have attention to their work, have foreign language knowledge, have expertise in using Indonesian and foreign languages, have communication skills and have work experience in office and office administration. Keyword: Competence, Secretary.

Salah satu dasar penerapan pengembangan bahasa Indonesia dalam kurikulum pendidikan nasional adalah karena adanya keberagaman budaya dan bahasa yang ada di masyarakat di setiap daerah.Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) yang terdiri dari pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial materi eknomi adalah objek yang akan dijadikan lokasi pelaksanaan pengabdian terhadap masyarakat. Mengingat pentingnya pelajaran IPS materi ekonomi yang akhir-akhir ini menjadi sorotan dalam praktek berwirausaha sejak dini, maka kiranya praktek istilah bahasa dalam dunia bisnis/perdagangan sangat dibutuhkan.The 1st Education and Language International Conference Proceedings Center for International Language Development of Unissula.Memaparkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya MEA, arus produk ekonomis, informasi, dan perdagangan akan masuk dengan cepat tiada batas. Bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa perdagangan harus bersifat persuasif dimana bisa mempengaruhi dan mengajak orang lain untuk membeli produk barang dan jasa yang ditawarkan. Abstract The era of globalization can influence all aspects of life, including language. Moreover, with the advancement of science, technology and art, it is able to bring up new terms regarding science and technology. Most of the new terms that arise due to the development of this science and technology use foreign languages, especially English. The purpose of writing this short article is to explain the influence of the development and advancement of science and technology on the formation of Indonesian terms and to explain the process of forming Indonesian terms. The emergence of new terms due to the advancement of science and technology is able to encourage Indonesian language to adopt and form Indonesian terms. It is able to enrich Indonesian vocabulary. Foreign language terms that are paired with Indonesian to date continue to grow and vary. Many terms that we often use are still in foreign languages, even though the term already exists on it.Key Word: globalization, development, science and technology, termAbstrakEra globalisasi dapat mempengaruhi semua aspek dalam kehidupan, termasuk bahasa. This chapter offers the first account of the beginning of subtitling in the United Kingdom and in the United States. The release of foreign-language films with superimposed English titles began in both countries in the course of 1931, and became generalised in 1932. The chapter discusses early experiments in titling, including the use of interpolated titles after the fashion of silent films. It also raises a number of methodological problems, including the difficulty of interpretation of press data. This difficulty means that as yet we have only a provisional picture of early subtitling practices in the UK and USA, and for several of these early subtitled versions the nature and extent of the titling is not known. The chapter also discusses the question of survival of the material artefacts of these subtitled versions.

The influence of foreign languages, especially English may erode Indonesian authority. Most people feel more confidence and smarter when using English. It is not wrong but contradict to the slogan echoed by the government, "Prioritizing Indonesian, mastering foreign language, and Preserving the language”. This research was aimed to study about how the forms of improper use of Indonesian in public spaces in Baubau, and what were the factors that influence the occurrence of these errors. The methods used descriptive qualitative. Technique of collecting the data was used observation and technical documentation record. The result showed that the errors found are errors in placing prefixes and prepositions which still confused-exchange as well as the widespread use of English on shop signs, hotels, salons, and other general instructions. Some of the factors triggering the occurrence of these errors is the lack of knowledge about the use of the Indonesian language properly and correctly, lack of socialization that involve direct community of language users, and the absence of real sanctions for violators language.
