Construction project Development is an event that has high risks of accidents. This could be seen in many construction projects that use sophisticated tools. Although equipped with security system, the risks are still high. The point of Occupational Health and Safety is to protect workers, and to step up the work effectively and efficient. Accidents in workplace happened because of the improper organization and management of the company. Therefore, in Construction project Development, Occupational Health and Safety is needed. The point in making this article is to prevent any accident in workplace with applying the Occupational Health and Safety that is suitable with the Constitution. This research is using the literature review method. The result of this article emphasizes in Occupational Health and Safety’s role as a right way to prevent work accidents in construction project.

Implementation of the construction project is very necessary for the existence of risk management. It is necessary to anticipate and handle risks in construction projects because of the project's construction one such risk of occupational health and safety (OHS). So the need for the identification, assessment, analysis to anticipate the risks involved. According to OHSAS (18001:2007), OHS is all the conditions and factors that affect, or may affect, on the health and safety of employees or other workers (including contract workers and personnel contractors, or others in the workplace). The purpose of this research is to know the risk factors and the risk of dominant and controlling risks in the project. The methods used in this research is a method of HAZID, HAZOP, and HIRA. The results obtained, there are 48 types of risk factors, 47 with the medium category, and 1 with a low category. There are five dominant risks and 12 risk controls. The project is a set of activities intended to achieve certain final results that are quite important for the interests of management. One of these projects includes construction projects. The process of building construction projects in general is an activity that contains many elements of danger. One focus of the contracting company is to create good Occupational Health and Safety (K3) conditions in the project. While the Occupational Health and Safety culture plays a very important role in shaping employee behavior towards Occupational Health and Safety. This research was conducted to identify and analyze what factors influence the culture of Occupational Health and Safety, especially in construction projects, as well as analyzing the influence of factors work safety and health culture on construction project performance. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method so that data can be searched as much as possible and explained descriptively. The results of the research show that the influence of Occupational Health and Safety culture is very important on the performance of construction project worker. That is because with a culture of Occupational Health and Safety will have a good impact on workers, like workers will feel safe and comfortable and it will make the work done more efficiently and increase productivity

The Agrifood Industry is the largest Portuguese Industry, constituted mainly by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It is noted that more than any other type of organization SMEs have their own speci?cities that make it particularly appropriate to develop tools to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing for employers and workers. To this extent, identifying critical success factors is the key to increase SMEs productivity. Likewise, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in SMEs have their own characteristics, which dif?cult the prevention strategies implementation and aggravate the problematic of work accidents. This study analyses a ?eldwork in 60 food processing companies in Portugal, related to the dairy, meat processing, bakery and horticultural subsectors. The analysis of the results allowed to identify that, at the national and regional level, the main failures are concerned with (1) lack of risk assessments regarding occupational noise, lighting, thermal environment and vibrations; (2) safety signaling, the circulation ways are not identi?ed with appropriate safety colors; (3) general lighting, with too many shade areas and finally (4) complementary presence of associated risks to falls at the same level, falling of objects, thermal burns, the use of machines and equipment, ?re, mechanical, ergonomic hazards and incorrect body postures. This study assesses the most relevant occupational health and safety risks in the Portuguese food processing industry to contribute to the improvement of OSH management and prevention of work accidents.

The concept of Occupational Health and Safety has become increasingly important as a result of increased industrialization and the development of new technologies all over the world. The basic philosophy of Occupational Health and Safety is to reduce the number of work accidents and to provide a healthier work environment for employees. The most risky sectors in the world are designated as mining, agriculture, forestry and construction. Markets are classified as "Dangerous Classes of Occupational Health and Safety" issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (ILO, 2004). When the risks are taken into consideration, marketing companies should perform risk analysis to ensure that hazards and problems will ocur. In this context, it is needed to provide and implement training on occupational health and safety regularly in order to protect against the identified risks. Periodic evaluations are performed at regular intervals that decrease in loss of life and property at marketing companies, both tangible as well as intangible losses will be reduced. Keywords: Markets, risk analyse, occupational health and safety.

Risk assessment is a foundation for successful management of Occupational Health and Safety, as well as an important key in order to decrease the number of work accidents. Moreover, risk assessment is an essential part of normal safety activity in work places and it includes positive factors such as: productivity, motivation and creativity. The first part of the paper focuses on a legislative background of risk assessment in Romania compared to Finland, based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The second part represents a comparative analysis regarding the risk assessment instruments used in Romania in comparison with those from Finland. The third part includes a current perspective regarding risk management in Finland and its impact of the situation in work life. The aim of this paper is to realize a brief review of risk assessment in Romania compared to Finland in order to take into consideration both the advantages and disadvantages regarding legislation, instruments used in the process of risk assessment in these countries.

In a construction project there are various problems that occur, one of which is the problem regarding the occupational Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) which must always be considered. The research location is located in the city of Ternate, North Maluku province. This study aims to determine which constraint variable has the most influence based on the perception of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) experts. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process method through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with several construction companies. Based on the results of the AHP analysis, the rankings of the constraint variables are as follows: no evaluation related to OHS for workers in the field (0.2312), low culture (0.2277), no punishment for workers who do not carry out OHS in the field (0.1486).

In Indonesia, the number of construction project increased, while the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is one of the main purposes of the construction project. However, the OHS is often neglected which is indicated by the high number of the work accident occurrences. To reduce the work risk, a safe design since the pre-construction stage which is often called prevention through design should be considered. In this research, the method was carried out by a literature study to collect theory and data from some sources, including journal, thesis and website which initiated by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Then, the research continued to field observation for collecting the references to help formulate the new design criteria. The outcome of this research demonstrates that the prevention step for the work accident should be done earlier in the project, which is in the design phase. By doing prevention, such as using the new design criteria with the OHS consideration or the prevention through design, could reduce the work accident risk that could occur in steel construction project. The new design criteria discussing 5 elements in steel structure including column, beam, rafter, endplate connection and angle plate connection by applying the elements of the OHS in advance. Keywords: new design criteria, steel construction, occupational health and safety

Cooking is an activity that is repeatedly every day. Cooking by applying occupational health and safety will ease and simplify the process, the time and energy needed will also be more efficient. The purpose of this research is to raise public awareness of the importance of implementing occupational health and safety, specifically ergonomics and physiology in all activities, especially when cooking. The method that I used in this research is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through direct case studies in "Warmindo" around UNS. The result of this research is to inform the whole community about the importance of implementing occupational health and safety, specifically ergonomics and physiology. This research effort, so that the public knows and aware of the importance of implementing occupational health and safety, because if people apply occupational health and safety in their activities it will reduce the number of work accidents in Indonesia and the community will also save energy and time. this research can introduce the public to work that is safe, healthy, and avoid work-related diseases in accordance with existing standards in occupational safety and health regulations. If the community apply it to their lives so that it can have an impact by reducing the level of work accidents or injuries due to improper work positions.
