In this paper, we bring our individual and collective memories of Nepal to reflect upon how we imagine, remember, and perform the diasporic nationalism while living abroad. We argue that diasporic nationalism is often framed by the homeland's historical dimensions and through an imagined and identificatory relation to the homeland. In doing so, we bring our learning experiences during high school in Nepal and critically zero in on how these curriculums taught us only a single narrative of Nepal-India relation by grossly neglecting the other side of the narrative. To deconstruct such a grand narrative, we critically analyze the other side of the narrative, which reveals the Nepal-India relation as a 'paradox' between closeness and detachment. We discuss cross-border controversies in which the Indian hegemony of perpetuating colonial ideas overpowers Nepal through political and geopolitical intervention. We conclude the paper with our remarks to mitigate animosities and rebuild the fractured relationship between the two nations.

Following Sayer’s (2010) examination of reflexivity and habitus, we focus on thetransnational habitus(Darvin & Norton 2015) of Aaron, a Chinese international student at a U.S. university. Specifically, we examine how he wrestled with being identified as an ESL learner despite having attended a U.S. high school. Also exploring the relationship between reflexivity and emotions (Flam 2010), we draw on his written work, interviews, and his WeChat conversations. Our findings revealed that as a result of positioning himself as being better than the other Chinese students on campus (because of his English proficiency) and distancing himself from domestic U.S. students, Aaron did not capitalize on his Chinese-English bilingualism to extend his local social networks, which exacerbated his growing isolation at his home university. In tracing his emotional trajectory and strategies to cope with his predicament, we problematize the grand narrative of theglobal elite(Vandrick 2011) that overlooks the challenges encountered by affluent international students.

“PAI” teachers are required to be able to create a healthy climate of religios to avoid the Islamic radicalism in high school. One effort that can be done by the”PAI” teachers is to practice the de-radicalization of Islamic education through the integration of education values on anti-terrorism in teching-learning of “PAI”. The educational values of antiterrorism that will be integrated in the teching-learning of “PAI” included citizenship,compassion, courtesy, fairness, moderation, respect for the other, respect for the creator,self control, and tolerance. Then, they are integrated into the learning objectives, learning materials, learning experiences, and evaluation of learning.Guru PAI dituntut untuk dapat menciptakan iklim keagaman yang sehat untukmenghindari paham radikalisme Islam di SMA. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru PAI adalah dengan melakukan praktik deradikalisasi pendidikan Islam melalui pengintegrasian nilai-nilai pendidikan anti terorisme pada pembelajaran PAI. Nilai-nilai pendidikan anti terorisme yang diintegrasikan pada pembelajaran PAI meliputi citizenship, compassion, courtesy, fairness, moderation, respect for other,respect for the creator, self control, dan tolerance. Kemudian diintegrasikan ke dalam tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, pengalaman belajar, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

The oral form-discrimination abilities of 18 orally educated and oriented deaf high school subjects were determined and compared to those of manually educated and oriented deaf subjects and normal-hearing subjects. The similarities and differences among the responses of the three groups were discussed and then compared to responses elicited from subjects with functional disorders of articulation. In general, the discrimination scores separated the manual deaf from the other two groups, particularly when differences in form shapes were involved in the test. The implications of the results for theories relating orosensory-discrimination abilities are discussed. It is postulated that, while a failure in oroperceptual functioning may lead to disorders of articulation, a failure to use the oral mechanism for speech activities, even in persons with normal orosensory capabilities, may result in poor performance on oroperceptual tasks.

Discipline in class is essential. Without it the educational processes and teachings are difficult. In this manner curricula goals are almost impossible to achieve. There are and there always will be some kind of conflicts between teachers and students, but they should not evolve to become a problem. Teachers (especially elderly teachers) often express pessimism of contemporary students. They say that today's students have less knowledge, they do misbehave more often than previous generations. A study among students was conducted. It was trying to determine the rate of discipline in schools in Celje to see if these statements are true. The questionnaire to students of one primary and one high school in Celje, Slovenia were distributed. The answers from 234 students were received. On the one hand, it was found out that senior high school students have the worst level of discipline of all the grades tested. They themselves assess their class atmosphere as less disciplined. They report that teachers use a lot of time to calm the class down. All this is probably a factor in lower average grade that the senior high school students have. On the other hand, it was found out that teachers do not react to the disturbance or they are trying to be repressive. These are not the correct ways of dealing with discipline issues. Therefore, there are some recommended ways how teachers should react. Keywords: discipline in class, primary school, contemporary student, elderly teachers.

Covid-19 are one of the viruses that were widely spreaded in 2019 and are still separate until nowadays. Thailand is one of the countries that are highly infected. The majority of people who are infected with this virus tend to have mild to severe respiratory symptoms. Furthermore, anyone can get sick, and it can lead to death. However, the most common symptoms of this virus are fever, cough, tiredness, and loss of taste or smell, on the other hand, characteristics in a minority of people, such as diarrhea and headaches. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 virus, people have to change their lifestyle to the online form. These changes have impacted mostly on economics and education in particular countries, so this problem also affects anxiety among high school students; who must prepare to apply to the university during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, we have collected 151 answers from high school students by surveying in order to know the feelings for entrance to the university during the pandemic situation. We found out that 81.3% of the students are highly affected by covid, and only 0.7% of students are slightly affected. We also found out that 55% of the students are worried about university entrance, and only 2.6% of the students were not worried at all. According to the result, most of the students in Thailand are facing the problem about their education and their entrance for the university which are caused by Covid-19. This may lead to illnesses like depression and anxiety. Keywords: Students, Learning, COVID-19, Thailand, University.

Objective: To review the rules, resolutions and existing documents relating to consultant and advisor to better target the actions of those who exercise these roles. Methods: The following documents were consulted: Statute of CAPES, through Decree No. 7692 of March 2, 2012; Ordinance No. 47 of 17/10/1995; Opinion 977 1965 Newton Sucupira; Area Document of Medicine III; Interministerial Ordinance 251 of 2012, based on Decree No. 7642 of 2011 of the Ministry of Science and Technology; CAPES Regiment. Results: The Brazilian Postgraduate system is divided in two different fields, according to its aspects: the "lato sensu" postgraduate, defined as all professional studies performed after the high school graduation; and the "stricto sensu" postgraduate that includes the master degree and the doctorate, both of them different from what is known as MSc or MS and PhD. The Brazilian doctorate is recognized as academic because its purposes include to improve the scientific and the teaching levels of university docents. The master degree has two different objectives one is to be academic and similar to the doctorate; the other is to upgrade professionals to a higher level than specialist or MBA and is denominated professional master degree. The master degrees and the doctorate are designated as courses and may be put together in a structure known as stricto sensu postgraduate program. The complexity of these courses and programs in all the areas of the superior human knowledge requires a large number of professional directly involved with this system and other professionals that attend them, called consultants and advisors. The consultants are counselors, and the advisors are assistants, both of them legally established with the incumbency to aid the postgraduate staff in all their duties. Conclusion: Nothing prevents a person from being a consultant on the situation and advisor on another, even in the same institution. Have knowledge about what being a consultant and advisor is required to exercise the function within the limits and dimension that the wingspan of the professional allows.

In a region that is traditionally considered to be transnational, Nordic cinema has often posed as the prime case for a transnational cinema. The paper contests this notion of Nordic transnationality by analysing two films that depict two Russian women travelling to Sweden. Interdevochka/Intergirl (Todorovski, 1989, USSR) and Lilya-4-ever (Moodysson, 2004, Sweden) challenge the inclusiveness of the region and make explicit the fact that Russian identities are not part of the homogenous mixture of the region. Instead, Russian identities of cross-border prostitution are cinematically subjected to rejection and victimisation. This paper examines how Lilya-4-ever adheres to a European anxiety narrative by performing a Russian return narrative and how Interdevochka/Intergirl portrays ‘the fallen soviet woman’ by travelling to Sweden. These cinematic representations of the female Russian identity travelling to Sweden differ from each national context, but by probing into a comparative analysis the paper will reveal that both films need the Other to narrate these stories of transnational labour migration.

Abstract This article analyzes the legislation of the two territories that have the most advanced legal framework regarding language policies towards Catalan: Andorra and Catalonia. The study of the legislation in relation to contexts of social and institutional use shows how this legal framework is not sufficient to change Catalan from being a minoritized language, since the phenomenon of minoritization is innate to the ecosystem in which languages develop. This ecosystem is conditioned by the presence of Castilian as a lingua franca on both sides of the border between Andorra and Catalonia. In the case of Andorra, its status as a cross-border microstate makes it a plurilingual space with Castilian as a socially cross-cutting language; moreover, the fact that until recently there was no network of state schools hindered Catalan language normalisation efforts. Catalonia, on the other hand, is an even more complex example on account of how the implementation of llengua pròpia policy contradicts the constitutional control the Spanish state exercises on this.

The role of educators is expected to print the candidates NCO Professional Police so that they can run their police duties properly in accordance with the ethics of the police which is based on the Tribrata. The method used in this research is the method of juridical sociological (empirical). The establishment of the Police Officer Education is an education to establish and equip students to be members of the police who have the knowledge, skills, abilities, commendable attitude and behavior in the context of carrying out police duties that come from the general public with the lowest level of high school graduates who have passed the various required tests such as administration and others.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the ability of students in solving non-routine problems in learning mathematics in high school. The focus of the study is the ability of students in solving non-routine problems that include the value of objectism, value of control, value of mystery, value of progress, value of rationalism, and value of openness. The subject of this study was determined purposively, that was based on the diversity of answers. The selected subject was six students of class X SMA in Palembang. The data were collected using observation, test, and interview which were then analyzed descriptively. The results show that in general the ability of students in solving non-routine problems is dominated by the value of objectism, control, rationalism, and progress. The other two values which did not dominantly appear were mystery and openness. Keywords: mathematical value, non-routine problemNILAI MATEMATIKA (MATHEMATICAL VALUE) SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN SOAL NON RUTIN Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal non rutin pada pembelajaran matematika di SMA. Fokus penelitian adalah kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal non rutin yang meliputi nilai objektisme, nilai kontrol, nilai misteri, nilai kemajuan, nilai rasionalisme, dan nilai keterbukaan. Adapun subjek penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive, berdasarkan keberagaman jawaban. Subjek yang terpilih adalah enam orang siswa kelas X SMA di Palembang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi, tes, dan juga wawancara, yang kemudian di analisis secara deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal non rutin masih didominasi pada nilai objektisme, nilai kontrol, nilai rasionalisme, dan nilai kemajuan. Dua nilai lain yang tidak dominan muncul adalah nilai misteri dan nilai keterbukaan.Kata Kunci: nilai matematika, soal non rutin
