This paper aims to determine the popularity of candidates on the internet through internet user behavioral tendencies (netizens) in surfing and using social media. Second, to find out interest netizens' in two popular issues, namely the 2020 regional elections or the Covid-19 pandemic issue. The author used Habermas' new public sphere theory. Data were collected from internet searches and official social media as primary data, then the data were analyzed using an inductive-descriptive approach with qualitative content analysis techniques, where data were identified and arranged systematically, then abstracted by analyzing one data. With others in depth and concluded as conclusions. This study concludes that netizens in Bandar Lampung had a greater attention to the issue of the Covid-19 pandemic than the issue of the 2020 simultaneous regional elections, as evidenced by tracing around the Covid-19 pandemic issue which was more popular than searches around the Simultaneous Pilkada 2020. This study also concluded that it was still not optimal. The campaign through social media of the three candidate pairs in the 2020 Bandar Lampung Pilkada, was marked by the low tendency of internet users to pay attention to the three candidate pairs on their official social media.

The nature of humans in their lives is to carry out communication activities. An individual can be said to communicate with other people if both have an understanding of the meaning of the message conveyed in their interactions. The progress of information communication technology provides an opportunity for individuals to interact more easily through the internet. In 2017, the number of internet users in Indonesia was recorded at 143.26 million, or 54.68 percent of Indonesia's total population. This number increased compared to the previous year, namely in 2016 which was recorded at 132.7 million. Of the numbers recorded, 130 million of them are active on social media in term of New Media Communication, or noted as information technology-based communication, makes social media as primary chosen for individuals interacting socially in cyberspace. This study aims to analyze how the personal branding forming in social media instagram refer to eight laws of personal branding such as: specialization, leadership, personality, distinctiveness, visibility, unity, persistence and goodwill. The best personal branding must be meets on these eight laws. The type of research conduct as qualitative descriptive, which the method is case study. The data used are primary data from interviews with selected informants and secondary data: documents in the form of photos and texts of digital natives on their Instagram. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data display by arranging it according to the pattern and then verification that is drawing the conclusion to answer the research question. Refer to the results of the study, the conclusion is personal branding of digital natives on Social Media Instagram need to be manage to meet all eight laws of personal branding.Keywords: Communication, Digital Natives, New Media, Social Media

The purpose of this article is to detect the impact of rumors on social media on the purchasing behavior of food products. The descriptive approach on four rumors related to food products were identified in the Egyptian market. A sample of 387 participants were selected from consumers who use Facebook in Egypt. The primary data was collected via an E-Questioner method. The results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the rumors on social media, and purchasing behavior of food products. There is also a significant difference between the products and the impact of rumors. These results assure the importance of social media and its impact on a customer's decision to purchase food products. This article not only explains the importance of rumors on social media in the food sector but also enhances the understanding of the influence of social media on consumer's behavior. It also provides some insights for facing the rumors. Organizations are advised to adopt social media in their business.

This article aims to analyze the digital literacy movement in Indonesia and its determinant using the narrative approach. Empirical research is carried out with qualitative content analysis methods. The primary data of the study came from 255 online news which contained digital literacy keywords that were detected by Google search engines and published in trusted online media. Secondary data collected from publications of government, private, and civil society organizations related to digital literacy. We use an interactive model and Atlas.ti 8 to analyze research data. The results showed that each actor had a variety of views about the definitions and situations that underlie digital literacy problems. The digital literacy movement narrative in Indonesia can be explained using the logic of the problem - solution - results. Problem narratives tend to be based on data from a variety of data sources on the profile and behavior of internet users, the development of e-commerce, digital security and crime, digital radicalism, basic competencies of digital literacy, national competitiveness, and the online mass media industry. Starting from the problem narrative, the actors proposed the same solution, namely strengthening digital literacy of internet users, although they differed in identifying target groups. The goals of this solution are a reduction in digital crime, an increase in the digital economy, knowledge, digital skills, and digital governance, as well as the birth of practices in the use of information and communication technology that refers to three principles, namely: security principle, economic principles, and social-cultural principle. We identified four actors who acted as victims in the digital literacy movement narrative in Indonesia: society as a whole, religious institutions, state institutions, population, economic commodities, and market participants. The criminal's character includes internet users, legal players, government institutions, and politicians. Meanwhile, heroes are all actors acting in the digital literacy movement in Indonesia. Fours factors contributed to digital literacy movement: public participation, commitment and togetherness, shared goals and interests, and a massive, systematic, and synergistic strategy, movement management, and learning process. We discuss the theoretical and practical implications of these findings.NARASI GERAKAN LITERASI DIGITAL DI INDONESIAArtikel ini bertujuan menganalisis gerakan literasi digital di Indonesia dan determinannya dengan pendekatan naratif. Riset empiris dilaksanakan dengan metode analisis isi kualitatif. Data primer penelitian berasal dari 255 berita online yang mengandung kata kunci “literasi digital” yang di deteksi mesin pencari Google dan dipublikasikan di media online terpercaya. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari publikasi organisasi pemerintah, swasta, dan/atau masyarakat sipil yang berhubungan dengan literasi digital. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan model interaktif dengan bantuan software Atlas.ti 8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap aktor memiliki keragaman pandangan tentang definisi dan situasi yang melatari masalah literasi digital. Alur cerita gerakan literasi digital di Indonesia bisa dijelaskan menggunakan logika masalah – solusi – hasil. Narasi masalah cenderung berbasis data dari beragam sumber data tentang profil dan perilaku pengguna internet, perkembangan e-commerce, keamanan dan kriminalitas digital, radikalisme digital, kompetensi dasar literasi digital, daya saing bangsa, dan industri media massa daring. Bertolak dari narasi masalah, para aktor mengusulkan solusi yang sama, yakni penguatan literasi digital pengguna internet, meski berbeda dalam identifikasi kelompok sasaran. Hasil akhir solusi ini adalah berkurangnya kriminalitas digital, meningkatnya perekonomian digital, pengetahuan, keterampilan digital, dan digital governance, serta melahirkan praktik-praktik penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang mengacu ke tiga prinsip, yakni: prinsip keamanan, prinsip ekonomi, dan prinsip sosio-kultural. Peneliti mengidentifikasi empat aktor yang berperan sebagai korban dalam narasi gerakan literasi digital di Indonesia, yakni: masyarakat secara keseluruhan, institusi agama, institusi negara, populasi penduduk, komoditas ekonomi, dan para pelaku pasar. Para penjahatnya meliputi pengguna internet, para pelaku pasar berbadan hukum, institusi pemerintah, dan oknum para politisi. Sedangkan, pahlawannya adalah semua aktor yang bertindak nyata dalam gerakan literasi digital di Indonesia. gerakan literasi digital dipengaruhi empat faktor yakni: partisipasi publik, komitmen dan kebersamaan, tujuan dan kepentingan bersama, dan strategi yang masif, sistematis, dan sinergis, manajemen gerakan, dan proses pembelajaran. Peneliti implikasi teoretis dan praktis temuan ini.

With the coupled crises of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial protest movements in 2020, the “Karen” meme gained national attention as more incidents were posted online. These incidents have shown to be destructive to all parties involved as victims often experience negative health effects while “Karens” experience doxing. This study investigated the defaming career and legal consequences following the release of video content on social media in which a white woman dubbed as a “Karen” displays racist behaviors. Utilizing a directed qualitative content analysis, the sourcing of incident content came from a study by Been Verified that evaluated 150 incidents. A 2-part data-collection was implemented utilizing Advanced Google Search Engine and Chan McNamarah’s research on racialized police communication. Incidents were subsequently processing using a selection criterion to be considered for consequence assessment. Out of 56 qualified incidents, 27% had discovered career consequences and 27% had discovered legal consequences. This research contributes to a largely undiscussed field in academia by providing an in-depth assessment on defaming Internet trends. It has implications for HR specialists and policymakers in making appropriate decisions to ensure accountability is taken in online matters. It also holds significance for Internet-users in understanding how one’s digital footprint can be perceived online.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tugas dan peran pengadilan agama dalam menyelesaikan kasus harta gono gini sebagai upaya penyelesaian konflik keluarga pasca bercerai suami dan istri (studi kasus di Pengadilan Agama Mataram).  Penelitian ini adalah  penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekataan deskriptif. Subyek penelitian atau informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Pengadilan Agama, Hakim, dan Panitera Pengadilan Agama Mataram. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu sumber data primer, Teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian  yang diperoleh bahwa tugas dan peran pengadilan agama mataram dalam menyelesaikan kasus harta gono gini yaitu : Tugas dan Peran Pengadilan Agama Mataram yaitu menerima, memeriksa, memutuskan, mengadili dan menyelesaikan perkara yang diaajukan oleh para pihak penggugat., dan Proses penyelesaian dan pertimbangan hakim dalam menentukan pembagian harta gono gini yaitu : Hakim dalam proses pembagian harta bersama yaitu membagi harta bersama tersebut sama-sama ½ (seperdua) penggugat dan tergugat sedangkan hakim dalam mempertimbangkan pembagian harta gono gini atau harta bersama tidak mesti terpaku terhadap UU tetapi sebagai hakim proses pertimbangan pembagian harta gono gini harus berdasarkan rasa keadilan karna hakim sendiri mempunyai asas kontralegen.Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to determine the duties and roles of religious courts in resolving inheritance cases as an effort to resolve family conflicts after divorce (a case study at the Mataram Religious Court). This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects of the study were the Head of the Religious Courts, Judges, and Registrars of the Mataram Religious Court. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data used were primary data sources; data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the duties and roles of the Mataram Religious Court in resolving the case of the Mataram Religious Court are the Duties and Roles of the Mataram Religious Court such as receiving, examining, deciding, adjudicating and completing cases filed by the plaintiffs, and the process of settlement and judges' considerations. In determining the distribution of assets of inheritance, the judges in the process of sharing joint assets are dividing the joint assets together ½ (half) of the plaintiff and the defendant, while the judge in considering the distribution of assets or joint assets does not have to be fixated on the law but as a judge in consideringthe process of the distribution of assets must be based on a sense of justice because the judges themselves have theprinciple of contralegem.

Content creator has become a new profession that is in great demand. Titan Tyra is one of Indonesia's content creators. Titan Tyra's Instagram account has now reached 616,000 followers. Content uploaded through Instagram stories such as endorsement content, vlogs of daily activities, fashion style, and make-up. Social media is a means of support and media for content creators as a forum for expressing ideas, works and art in the form of videos, photos or pictures, writing, and other visualizations. This research discusses Titan Tyra's personal branding in the social media account of Instagram @titantyra. The research objective was to conduct research to determine Titan Tyra's personal branding on Instagram. Primary data were obtained from interviews with three Titan Tyra followers. In this case the researcher wants the perspective of Titan Tyra's followers. The theory used is Peter Montoya's Theory (The Eight Laws Of Personal Branding), data analysis techniques using qualitative research, case study research methods with personal branding analysis. The results of this study indicate that Titan Tyra fulfills eight principles of personal branding such as Specialization (The law of specialization), Leadership (The law of leadership), Personality (The law of personality), Difference (The law of distinctiveness), Visible (The law of distinction).  visibility), Unity (The law of unity), Firmness (The law of persistence), Good name (The law of goodwill).Content creator sudah menjadi profesi baru yang banyak diminati. Titan Tyra merupakan salah satu content creator Indonesia. Akun Instagram Titan Tyra saat ini sudah mencapai 616.000 pengikut. Konten-konten yang diunggah melalui instastory Instagram seperti konten endorse, vlog kegiatan sehari-hari, fashion style, dan make-up. Media sosial merupakan sebuah sarana penunjang dan media bagi content creator sebagai wadah untuk menuangkan ide-ide, karya, dan seni dalam bentuk video, foto atau gambar, tulisan, dan visualisasi lainnya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang personal branding Titan Tyra diakun media sosial Instagram @titantyra. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui personal branding Titan Tyra di Instagram. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara tiga orang followers Titan Tyra. Dalam hal ini peneliti menginginkan sudut pandang followers Titan Tyra. Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Peter Montoya (The Eight Laws Of Personal Branding), teknik analisis data menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, metode penelitian studi kasus dengan analisis personal branding. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Titan Tyra memenuhi delapan prinsip personal branding seperti: spesialisasi (the law of specialization), kepemimpinan (the law of leadership), kepribadian (the law of personality), perbedaan (the law of distinctiveness), terlihat (the law of visibility), kesatuan (the law of unity), keteguhan (the law of persistence), dan nama baik (the law of goodwill).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa itu dakwah Bil Qalam dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram dalam dakwah Bil Qalam. Dakwah tidak harus dengan berdiri di atas mimbar, ada banyak metode yan dapat dilakukan dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwah. Dakwah Bil Qalam merupakan metode dakwah yang menggunakan tulisan dalam menyampaikan sebuah pesan dakwah. Di era digital saat ini, dakwah virtual melalui media sosial Instagram menjadi jalan agar estafet dakwah yang dilakukan Rasulullah SAW tidak terputus begitu saja. Metode dakwah Bil Qalam melalui Instagram dapat berupa caption pada unggahan gambar atau video dan tulisan pada instagram story. Dalam penelitian, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitiaan kualitatif diinterperetasikan oleh peneliti sehingga hasil penelitian sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemikiran, pandangan, dan pengetahuan peneliti. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer yaitu hasil wawancara dan data sekunder seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel dakwah yang diperoleh dari internet.Kata kunci: Dakwah Bil Qalam, Media sosial, Instagram.AbstractThis study aims to find out what is Da'wah Bil Qalam and describe how to use Instagram social media in Da'wah Bil Qalam. Da'wah does not have to stand on the stand, there are many methods that can be used in conveying the message of da'wah. Da'wah Bil Qalam is a method of da'wah that uses writing in conveying a message of da'wah. In today's digital era, virtual preaching through social media Instagram is a way for the preaching relay conducted by Rasulullah SAW to not be interrupted. The method of preaching Bil Qalam through Instagram can be in the form of a caption on the upload of images or videos and writing on instagram stories. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. The qualitative research data is interpreted by the researcher so that the research results are strongly influenced by the thoughts, views, and knowledge of the researcher. Data collected in the form of primary data are interviews and secondary data such as books, journals and propaganda articles obtained from the internet.Keywords: Da'wah Bil Qalam, Social media, Instagram.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the management of Zakat Maal in the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Palembang City and to determine the management of Zakat Maal l distribution in the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Palembang City, and to find out the factors that are supporting and inhibiting the management of Zakat Maal in National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in Palembang City. Design/Method/Approach: This type of research uses field research. Qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study by descriptive methods such as data collection and then classified into data.Findings: The result of the research is that the management of Zakat mal l collection has just been socialized so that muzakki has not been too much even though the potential for muzakki is quite large. The absence of regulations related to the collection of Zakat maal to the public. The obstacles faced by the Palembang City National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) in the form of lack of human resources both in the field of collection and distribution and utilization, and less proactive and lack of transparency so that the interest of muzakki paying Zakat Maal at the National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) of Palembang City is less interested in paying Zakat Maal l.Originality/Values: Provide information to the public on how to the management of Zakat Maal in the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Palembang City
