Competition and competitiveness issues are extremely topical at the present stage. However, the role of price and non-price competition in enterprises has not been sufficiently studied and requires a more detailed study, which was the purpose of the article. It has been established that the first theories of competition were formulated at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries and since then have been constantly undergoing various modifications. Given the evolution of the concept of "competition", it can be defined as a set of activities carried out by market participants to achieve their goals and consist in the integration of various instruments of competition - the provision of additional services by joining the offer of related services; formation of attractive prices by differentiating the forms and terms of payment; improving the forms and channels of product sales, customer service, improving communication through prompt and reliable information. The importance of dividing competition into price and non-price competition has been proven. Price competition. This is a kind of struggle with competitors by reducing the price of goods. Non-price competition offers more progressive and modern methods. These include isolating their products from similar competitors' products, introducing special features, expanding the range of products, improving quality, increasing advertising and warranty costs. Non-price competition allows you to focus on progress and drive sales without price fluctuations. Non-price competition indicates a higher level of quality of interactions in the market. The main advantages and disadvantages of non-price competition are determined. Thus, we can conclude that competition is an integral part of the market. The concept of competition has changed with the development of society, various economic trends and schools have contributed to this concept. From the point of view of microeconomics, it is important to divide competition into price and non-price, the use of which contributes to the increase in the efficiency of entrepreneurial activity.

Introduction. TThe issue of combining the value of the insurance company with the development of the insurance business in terms of formation of an effective system for selling insurance products is investigated. Analyzing in this direction are due to the constant concentration of capital and companies in order to create more competitive insurance structures. Critical scientific analysis on the issues of the insurer value and the development of the insurance products sale system allowed to distinguish a number of key generalizations. The aim is to deepen the theoretical and methodological principles of identifying the value of an insurance company, to formulate the advantages and disadvantages of the basic methods of such assessment and to substantiate the sales system impact on the value of the insurance business. Results. It is substantiated that increasing the value of an insurance company is not only aimed at directly generating income from the sale of an insurer, but is an incentive for expanding its business, enhancing the image of an insurance company, attracting investments for development and improving the quality of services offered. The advantages and disadvantages of individual methods of calculating the insurer value are systematized, namely: determination of the net asset value of the company, comparative valuation, discounted cash flow method. The significance of using the method of residual income or residual net income is proved. It is claimed that the system of the insurance products sale is one of the main elements of formation of the insurance company value. The two-sided influence of the sales system on the value of the insurance business has been determined: as an effective mechanism for increasing sales volume and as the influence of individual components of the sales system on the value of the company. Conclusions. Due to the development of the insurance product sales system as a key element of the insurance company’s value formation, its further growth will be ensured.

The subject. The article is devoted to the prerequisites of the emergence and essential characteristics of the institution of consolidated taxpayers’ groups in Russia and abroad, revealing of advantages and disadvantages of the legal regulation of the creation and operation of consolidated groups of payers of corporate profits tax, analyzing results and directions of the development of tax consolidation in Russian Federation. The purpose of the article is to identify positive and negative aspects of the functioning of the institution of consolidated taxpayers’ groups in Russia with the establishment of prospects of tax consolidation and the likely directions of its development. The description of the problem field. The development of the world economic system stimulates the emergence of new forms of management, characterized by the enlargement of busi-ness, the pooling of resources of individual enterprises into a single system in order to optimize entrepreneurial activity. These trends are reflected in the development of tax systems of various countries, that is expressed in the formation of institutions of consolidated taxpayers’ groups. Tax consolidation in Russia is a relatively new phenomenon, and it seems necessary to examine this institution from the law enforcement point of view, to evaluate its effectiveness. Methods and methodology. The authors used methods of analysis, synthesis, as well as formal-legal, comparative-legal, historical methods of investigation. Results and the scope of its application. The authors note that the institution of tax consolidation today is presented in the tax systems of most modern countries. The practice of applying the institution of consolidated taxpayers’ groups testifies to the existence of a significant number of advantages and disadvantages of tax consolidation in Russia. The moratorium on the creation of consolidated taxpayers’ groups, due to the contradictory nature of their influence on the structure of regional budgets, the main directions of the tax policy of Russia testify to the forthcoming reform of tax consolidation in Russia.Conclusions. The emergence of the institution of tax consolidation is a natural consequence of the development of the world economy. Most developed countries of the world actively introduce elements of consolidation into taxation systems, successfully providing a balance between the positive and negative consequences of its implementation. Meanwhile, the level of preparation and implementation of tax consolidation in Russia at the moment is not high enough, so the institution requires a consistent reform.

BACKGROUND most serious games and other game-based tools are designed as digital games or escape games. They are designed for learning or sometimes in the field of medicine as an aid to care. However, they can also be seen as an aid to research, in our case, to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of imaging techniques for cancer detection. OBJECTIVE we present a case study of action research on the design of a serious board game intended to consider the advantages and weaknesses of a diagnostic method in a different ways. The goal was to better understand the principles of designing a tool using game or play. METHODS we explicitly implemented another process than gamification to develop a structure reminiscent of the game to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of different imaging techniques from the point of view of the respondents (in this case specialists not directly involved in the project). Based on this feedback and the scientific literature on this subject, we detail the main categories of games and games developed for serious use in order to understand their differences. Concerning the cancer research part to which game contributes, our method is based on questions asked to experts and practitioners of this specialty. RESULTS an expert point of view translation tool in the form of a game has been realized to apprehend a research in a different way. CONCLUSIONS we show with the help of a diagram, some possible design paths leading to this type of design result including two hidden dimensions to consider (the awareness of the game or play by the "player" and his role as a contributor or recipient).

AbstractRestrictions in the access to healthcare facilities during COVID-19 pandemic have raised the need for remote monitoring of chronic medical conditions, including multiple sclerosis (MS). In order to enable the continuity of care in these circumstances, many telemedicine applications are currently tested. While physicians’ preferences are commonly investigated, data regarding the patients’ point of view are still lacking. We built a 37 items web-based survey exploring patients’ propensity, awareness, and opinions on telemedicine with the aim to evaluate the sustainability of this approach in MS. Analysing 613 questionnaires out of 1093 that were sent to persons with MS followed at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Tor Vergata University, Rome, we found that more than half of respondents (54%) were open to having a televisit. Propensity toward telemedicine significantly depended on having a higher income (p = 0.037), living farther from the center (p = 0.038), using computer and tablet (p = 0.010) and using the Internet for other remote activities (p < 0.001), conversely it was not influenced by any specific disease characteristics (i.e. degree of disability). The main advantages and disadvantages of televisit reported by participants were respectively saving time (70%) and impossibility to measure physical parameters (71%). Although the majority of respondents are in favour of televisit, so far this approach is restricted to those displaying better socioeconomic conditions and higher familiarity with technology. Implications of the study are that telemedicine platforms should be better tailored to patients’ demands in order to spread the use of telemedicine, to enhance usability and to increase patients’ adherence.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the significant contribution of emotions along with other conventional loyalty drivers on the loyalty intentions. Design/methodology/approach The influence of three conventional loyalty drivers, i.e., value equity, brand equity, relationship equity on loyalty intentions was investigated by further exploring the moderating effects of negative and positive emotions. A sample of 834 Pakistani consumers in the supermarkets and banking industries was studied employing store-intercept survey design. Findings Consumer behavior is driven by emotions in both the supermarkets and banking context. Thus, in order to better predict customer loyalty intentions, the emotional component is crucial and should be included along with other cognitive components. Practical implications Since customers’ emotional responses throughout service delivery are strongly linked to loyalty, therefore supermarkets and bank service managers need to make sure that the customers experience with their services as pleasurable as possible and for this purpose, customer service employees need to be trained in order to better understand the customers’ emotional responses during the course of service delivery process. Originality/value The present study complements the existing literature regarding the role of emotions in service settings and offers a new point of view for the linkage among emotions, customer equity drivers and customer loyalty intentions.

In this review article, we present in some detail new trends in application of asymptotic techniques to mechanical problems. First we consider the various methods which allows for the possibility of extending the perturbation series application space and hence omiting their local character. While applying the asymptotic methods very often the following situation appears: an existence of the asymptotics ε → 0 implies an existence of the asymptotics ε → ∞ (or, in a more general sense, ε → a and ε → b). Therefore, an idea of constructing a single solution valid for a whole interval of parameter ε changes is very attractive. In other words, we discuss a problem of asymptotically equivalent function constructions possessing for ε → a and ε → b a known asymptotic behavior. The defined problems are very important from the point of view of both theoretical and applied sciences. In this work, we review the state-of-the-art, by presenting the existing methods and by pointing out their advantages and disadvantages, as well as the fields of their applications. In addition, some new methods are also proposed. The methods are demonstrated on a wide variety of static and dynamic solid mechanics problems and some others involving fluid mechanics. The choice of an adequate exchange rate regime proves to be a highly sensitive field within which the economic authorities present and confirm themselves. The advantages and disadvantages of fixed and flexible exchange rate regimes, which have been quite relativized from the conventional point of view, together with simultaneous, but not synchronized effects of structural and external factors, remain permanently questioned throughout a complex process of exchange rate regime decision making. The paper reflects the attempt of critical identification of the key exchange rate performances with emphasis on continuous non-uniformity and (un)certainty of shelf life of a relevant choice.

Introduction. Kuyalnyk estuary has a remarkable medical and health potential of national importance, its unique properties are of international value, which predetermines recognition of respective areas as protected areas. In addition, proximity of Kuyalnyk estuary to the city of Odesa causes expansion of not only cooperation vectors with representatives of business groups in Odesa region, as  well as creating demand in service market at this area. However, presently, economiс-ecological potential of Kuyalnyk estuary area is not used properly, which significantly affects social and infrastructural level of this area, and decreases investment attraction of this resort. Aim and tasks. In this paper it is proposed to consider theoretical and methodological principles of developing ecologically oriented business activity at the stage of planning protected object: Natural National Park (NNP) “Kuyalnitskiy”; to analyze tools for cooperation with economic private sector representatives, which will ensure protected areas development as a multifunctional space. Results. This paper substantiates ways to develop regional program of targeted economiс-ecological support for entrepreneurial activity development in the areas of Ukrainian nature reserve fund; it is suggested implementing public-private policy that allows developing future Natural National Park “Kuyalnitskiy” as innovative area – “space” aimed at streamlining processes of nature management, creating new formats of business activity, improving ecological-economic situation in the region, creating conditions for sustainable development. Conclusions. Taking into account dual economic and regulatory status of Kuyalnyk estuary, it is necessary to plan such vectors of business activity that can simultaneously meet the needs of sanatoriums and have environmentally friendly format that will consider reasonable level of anthropogenic load at this area. The proximity to the city of Odesa will ensure development and market demand for various types of economic-ecological business activities, as well as appropriate level of “neighbourhood urban planning”.

Covid-19 made several countries adopt lock-down policies as an effort to break the chain of spreading the virus. However, this policy greatly affects sectors related to the daily mobility of people, especially the tourism sector which has been most significantly affected by Covid-19. One of the provinces in Indonesia that has experienced a major loss in the tourism sector due to Covid-19 is the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY). Therefore, the DIY government gradually continues to encourage the tourism sector to resume operations, one of which is by releasing new applications for tourists, namely "Jogja Pass" and "Visiting Jogja" to monitor visitors to tourism destinations in DIY. In this study the author will focus on studying the application "Visiting Jogja". The purpose of this research is to examine the advantages and disadvantages of the "Visiting Jogja" application from the user's point of view, and to find out whether the "Visiting Jogja" application can help restore the confidence of tourists to travel to Yogyakarta. This study uses qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques through direct interviews with 10 respondents as a sample who is determined randomly. The results show that the application "Visiting Jogja" can provide assurance for tourists, which helps generate confidence in users to visit more tourism attractions in Yogyakarta. However, the government's efforts in socializing and promoting the “Visiting Jogja” application to the public are still lacking.

The article is devoted to the issues of actualization of problems and novelties in the context of theoretical and legal segments of the bankruptcy procedure. The activities of economic entities are influenced by external and internal factors, but the issues of their solution remain in most cases in the discussions of politicians, scientists and representatives of the business environment. The effectiveness of legal entities has recently proved that the application of bankruptcy proceedings has intensified. However, remediation issues do not always have and receive adequate support. The consequence of these phenomena is the cessation of activities not only of small and medium-sized businesses, but also of individual large businesses. The main task of modern enterprises on the verge of bankruptcy is to develop tools and tools that allow to predict and analyze potential crises, to design options for their resolution and the appropriate information and economic base of management. Practical entrepreneurial activity proves that a number of issues remain unresolved and need more in-depth research and attention. This phenomenon indicates the modernity and relevance of the study given the realities of the functioning of legal entities. The article draws attention to the legislative regulation of bankruptcy procedures, identifies the priorities of legislative initiatives. The question of the scientific position of scientists concerning the characteristic of the conceptual categories "bankruptcy" and "remediation" is investigated. The author's vision of the essential characteristics of these categories is given, the substantiation of expediency of their adaptation in activity of domestic enterprises is given. A package of anti-crisis management measures has been developed taking into account the current realities of doing business. Proposals for improving the legislative regulation from the standpoint of reorganization procedures are presented. The development, approval and adaptation of the "Regulations on the stages of remediation" is proposed. From the author's point of view, it is expedient to include in the structure of the legislative regulator: conceptual apparatus for reorganization procedure, definition of methods and techniques of evaluation of clearly defined criteria with establishment of their normative limits, coverage of monitoring procedures.
