Pepper is an agricultural commodity that has a high selling value and is resistant to disease. Identifying the disease in pepper requires knowledge from agricultural experts to evaluate the symptoms of the disease being experienced. Involving an agricultural expert certainly has drawbacks in terms of slow handling, less effective management of large amounts of data. So we need a system that can accommodate these problems. Expert system is one of the sub-branches of science in the field of artificial intelligence, where expert knowledge is expressed in a model with an intelligent-based system. The expert system serves as an interactive consultant media in diagnosing pepper plant diseases based on symptoms. In producing the right decision, a process model is needed in the form of tracing rules and knowledge preference values based on input values in the form of probabilistic data / uncertainty for each symptom. Certainty factor modeling method has the ability to evaluate the preference value of expert knowledge. Based on the model and the weight value of each measure and level of symptoms, it can produce a high level of accuracy decision analysis. Expert systems have advantages that can accommodate expert knowledge in diagnosing pepper plant diseases in time series. This research can help farmers, researchers, experts or agencies in the field of agriculture to identify common diseases of pepper, so that it can provide basic knowledge about various types of diseases and treatment solutions to support the growth of pepper plants.

The Chilli in scientific language called Capsium annuum is not native to Indonesia, but came from the Americas, to be precise and South America Central America and Mexico. Quite a lot of chilli plants cultivated in Indonesia, especially in the land - the land of paddy fields and land - dry land that gets enough sunlight. In general, chilli plants grown as crops. Chilli and cultural communities, especially communities Medan Indonesia can hardly be separated, especially in cooking. Unlike the people - Europeans, Americans, and several Asian countries who prefer spicy pepper, Indonesian people especially people prefer spicy chili field. Virtually all the serving dishes found in cuisines that contain chilli although only slightly. Community needs for chili plants increases, along with the increasing growth of the community and increased social welfare. Although the need for chili plants increased, but not accompanied by increased production. As for the cause it can happen because ofpests, plant diseases, and less extension of the government. Artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence is a part of computer science that make the machine (computer) can do the job and as good as that done by humans. Intelligent systems (intelligent system) system wasbuilt using artificial intelligence techniques. One studied in artificial intelligence is the theory of certainty by using the theory of Certainty Factor (CF). Expert System (Expert System) is a knowledge-based programs that provide quality solutions to problems-problems of experts in a specific domain. Expert systems are computer programs that mimic the thought process and expert knowledge in solving a specific problem.

The lack of farmers' knowledge about various palm oil palm plant diseases and how to prevent plant is not attacked by the disease even with the lack of knowledge has led to mistakes in dealing with diseases that attack the oil palm plantations. On the other hand, to meet experts who are experts in the field of agriculture plant oil palm is very difficult, it is necessary for the right technology to solve the problem of oil palm plantations.  One way to overcome this problem by building a plant disease expert system palm, to facilitate the farmers know the oil palm plant diseases. There are various methods in an expert system, but here using certainty factor.  This study resulted in an expert system that can be used as a means for diagnosing the disease of oil palm trees are diseased, in the application development using Android SDK android studio and used to run android emulator on a computer or pc

Masa remaja merupakan suatu rentang kehidupan individu. Dalam siklus perkembangan individu, masa remaja merupakan kehidupan yang sangat penting dan masa peralihan yang perlu diarahkan pada perkembangan menuju dewasa. Lingkungan keluarga yang sehat dan lingkungan yang kondisif untuk tumbuh kembang remaja yang positif dapat mempengaruhi kematangan fisik dan psikis remaja, maka dari itu perlu tindakan yang dapat membantu remaja menemukan tujuan dalam kehidupan. Ilmu psikologi merupakan bidang ilmu yang dapat mengetahui perilaku manusia dan mempelajari proses mental manusia. Ilmu psikologi dalam mempelajari sisi psikologi suatu objek masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Dalam hal mengamati gaya belajar remaja, perpaduan antara ilmu psikologi dan teknologi memungkinkan untuk dilakukan, yaitu dengan membuat sebuah sistem berbasis teknologi (sistem pakar) berdasarkan pengetahuan pakar. Sistem pakar ini dapat memberi pengetahuan dalam penentuan gaya belajar remja dengan menerapkan metode dari sistem pakar yaitu certainty factor. Certainty factor dapat memberikan nilai kepercayaan dari nilai ketipastian dengan menghitung nilai certainty factor dan hasil nilai kombinasi certainty factor sesuai ketentuan dari metode. Hasil perhitungan certainty factor berbentuk nilai (angka) di setiap gaya belajar, di mana hasil tertinggi menjadi penetuan gaya belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini, para pakar (psikolog) dapat menentukan gaya belajar dengan lebih cepat dan pendidik atau pengajar dapat terbantu dalam mengetahui modalitas atau gaya belajar remaja serta dapat memberikan solusi bagi remaja arah bakat atau karir sesuai gaya belajar diperoleh. Bagi akademisi atau praktisi dibidang teknologi, akan didapat hasil bahwa metode Certainty Factor yang dapat menentukan gaya belajar dengan melihat dari perolehan nilai dari setiap gaya belajar.   Kata kunci: Ilmu Psikologi, Remaja, Gaya Belajar, Sistem Pakar, Certainty Factor   Abstrack Adolescence is an individual's life span. In the individual development cycle, adolescence is a very important life and a transitional period that needs to be directed at development towards adulthood. A healthy family environment and an environment that is conducive to adolescent growth and development that can positively affect adolescent physical and psychological maturity, therefore need actions that can help teens find goals in life. Psychology is a field of science that can know human behavior and study human mental processes. Psychology in studying the psychology of an object still uses conventional methods. In terms of observing adolescent learning styles, a combination of psychology and technology makes it possible to do, namely by making a technology-based system (expert system) based on expert knowledge. This study will discuss how to create an expert system with the certainty factor method. From the results of this study, experts in this case psychologists and educators or instructors can be helped in seeing the modalities or learning styles of adolescents. While for academics or practitioners in the field of technology, results will be obtained that the Certainty Factor method can determine learning styles.   The role of facial beauty experts is vital for identifying the kind of facial skin as well as providing the right treatment solution for every kind of facial skin. From this, an expert system is needed to help provide solutions by building an expert system that can identify the type of facial skin by including treatment solutions. The Certainty Factor method makes a selection based on consideration in the calculation process, and this method looks for the highest combination of trust values. At the beginning of the study data collection was carried out on 40 female respondents obtained 100% of respondents did not understand the type of facial skin and 76% said they needed experts, 95% required an expert system application. While the results of the assessment of the application system that had been built by respondents stated that 88% of the system design was excellent and very good 91% of the system was easy to use, and 98% said the operation was by what was needed.

Diseases in plants are something that can happen to many plants either caused by pests or other factors, the disease in plants can be detected based on the symptoms that appear on the plant before spreading to all plants, to recognize the symptoms and types of diseases contained in plants require plant experts or also by applying expert systems with expert knowledge base applied to the system by using certain methods such as certainty factor method. Expected results with the availability of this expert system to the user can help many users to detect diseases in plants.

Expert system is computer programs that mimic the thought process and expert knowledge in solving a particular problem. Basically, an expert system has various methods to diagnose various kinds of diseases experienced by humans, animals, and plants. This research analyzes the comparison of Certainty Factor method and Bayes Probability method in the expert system of Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) diseases. Both methods have the same basic theory of overcoming uncertainties with existing variables. The Certainty Factor method has many variables that are used as systematic knowledge, namely the weight value of the expert which is the basis of knowledge of the system and the user input weight value, while the Bayes Probability method uses only expert knowledge in the calculation. Based on a comparative analysis of the methods obtained with 10 patients data on the ENT disease expert system, the Certainty Factor method has accuracy in diagnosing the disease by 100%, while the Probability Bayes method of system accuracy is 80%. So it can be concluded that the Certainty Factor method is more accurate in diagnosing ENT than the Bayes Probability method.

In treating insomnia patients, acupuncturists who are not always in their clinics trust their patients to their assistants but because of their assistants limited knowledge, their assistants can not determine the right acupoints. Therefore, an application that able to store their knowledge about insomnia disease treatment is needed so that their assistants can handle the patients like they do.In this research, an expert system application using certainty factor method to determine the acupoint in dealing with insomnia disease was built. This research used certainty factor to accommodate uncertainty about symptoms and rules. The mechanism of certainty factor on symptoms used a measure of increased belief (MB) and a measure of increased disbelief (MD).The built expert system resulted acupoints based on symptoms experienced by insomnia patients. Accuracy value produced by the system that used certainty factor for determining acupoint dealing with insomnia is 0.933. It showed that the acupoint produced by the system is 93.3% relevant according acupuncturist expertise in treating insomnia patients.

Many animal keepers at home who do not know the disease contained in the animal's body. Especially for dogs, the lack of information begins to provide care, hygiene, vaccinations for the health of pet dogs and sickles that will be caused by dogs to their owners. Expert systems can provide solutions to the lack of information obtained by pet dog owners, especially dogs. With this expert system, the owner can know the dog's disease and realize the right prevention in treatment. In this paper 25, physical symptoms of the disease are used and found 8 types of common dog diseases. Five options are given to answer the calculation question using each method: no, quite sure, sure enough, certain, and certainty sure. Accuracy Analysis of each method is tested by assessing the results of each analysis method based on user feedback. The results of this study are the application of an expert system that can diagnose dogs using herbal medicines from plants. The purpose of this study is to implement the certainty factor method in the diagnosis system of canine diseases that can provide space in providing value confidence in knowledge. The conclusion in this study will show some questions as indicators of the characteristics of canine disease, until the final question. The conclusion of the study using the certainty factor method will show the characteristics of the disease in dogs. By being obtained from Rabies (0.9) with easy to get angry refuse nomal food; Hepatitis (0,9) with swelling of the liver occurs; Distemser (0,8) with stomach part blister and festering discharge from the eye; canine parvorius (0,8) with loss of appetite and poop there is blood, herpesvirus (0,8) with  often roared and complaints,  papilomatosis (0,9) with Smelly dog breath, and leptospirosis (0,7) with complaints, and dirofilaria immitis (0,9) with Unstable body temperature

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan akan adanya alat bantu bagi peternak maupun penyuluh dalam mendiagnosis penyakit pada ayam. Basis pengetahuan sepenuhnya diambil dari pengetahuan pakar yang dapat mendiagnosa dan menentukan nama penyakit yang diderita oleh ayam. Penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan membandingkan 4 jurnal internasional yang berjudul “Expert system of quail disease diagnosis using forward chaining method, An Expert System for Management of Poultry Diseases, Developling Mobile Expert Web-based System Using Brainstroming Method, Disease Diagnosis System”. Berdasarkan keempat jurnal tersebut dapat dikembangkan inovasi baru berupa Sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit ayam menggunakan metode Certainty Factor. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan wawancara dan studi literature sehigga dapat menggumpulkan data yang lebih lengkap. Sistem Pakar ini akan di implementasikan kedalam sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis android dengan harapan memudahkan user dalam menggunakan karena dibuat kedalam aplikasi android sehingga bisa di install dalam handphone. Hasil akhir berupa suatu informasi data penyakit dengan nilai Certainty Factor/kepastian.Kata Kunci — Diagnosa Penyakit Ayam, Sistem Pakar, Android, Certainty FectorThis study was conducted based on the need for tools for farmers and extension workers in diagnosingdiseases in chickens. The knowledge base is completely drawn from the expert knowledge that can diagnose and determine the name of the disease suffered by chickens. This study was based on the results of the analysis by comparing four international journals entitled "Expert system of quail disease diagnosis using forward chaining method, An Expert System for Management of Poultry Diseases, Developing Mobile Expert Web-based System Using Brainstroming Method, Disease Diagnosis System". Based on the four journals can be developed a new innovation in the form of expert system of chicken disease diagnosis using Certainty Factor method. The research methodology uses interviews and literature studies so that it can collect more complete data. Expert System will be implemented into an android-based mobile application with the hope of facilitating the user in using because it is made into the android application that can be installed in the mobile phone.
