Hydroponics systems require tremendous attention both in nutrition, plant growth, the risk of pest and disease attacks. Thus, this hydroponic farming system requires high experience and expertise that is the main obstacle for business actors who want to start a vegetable cultivation business with a hydroponic system, especially for business actors who do not have a background in agriculture. The hydroponic cultivation expert system in this study aims to detect plant diseases and pests and provide solutions to these diseases. In addition, this expert system application also aims to monitor plant needs, so this application can help farmers grow up hydroponic vegetable cultivation businesses. The combination of the forward and backward chaining methods is applied to detect plant diseases and pests. Whereas the forward chaining method use to monitor plant needs. The combination of the forward and backward chaining methods in identifying plant diseases and pests can make it easier for users to determine the suffered by plants and provide information about these diseases. The application of the forward chaining method in monitoring plant needs can identify the level of fulfilment of entails of each component of plant needs according to the type of plant and the day after planting. The application of this hydroponic expert system can overcome the limited number of hydroponic experts in helping farmers identify plant diseases and pests and monitor plant needs.

AbstrakKemajuan teknologi di bidang komputer berkembang dengan sangat pesat, sehingga dapat membantu dalam penerapan pada berbagai bidang, seperti pada bidang ekonomi, pemerintahan, kesehatan, dan bidang lainnya. Seperti halnya studi kasus dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada bidang kesehatan khususnya penyakit HIV/AIDS, yang dapat mendiagnosa penyakit tersebut menggunakan sistem pakar. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) adalah suatu penyakit yang belum diketemukan obat untuk menyembuhkannya. Virus HIV menyerang kekebalan tubuh para penderitanya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitan kali ini yaitu backward chaining dan certainty factor. Metode backward chaining digunakan untuk pencocokan fakta atau pernyataan, sedangkan metode certainty factor untuk menunjukkan ukuran kepastian dari fakta atau pernyataan tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian pakar yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil nilai yang didapat dengan menggunakan 20 data uji menghasilkan nilai akurasi sebesar 75%.    AbstractThe advances in computer technology are developing very rapidly, so then it can be helpful to apply in various fields, such as economic, government, health, and others. For the case study of this research is in the field of health, specifically HIV/AIDS, in purpose of diagnosing the disease by using an expert system. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a disease which has not found the cure yet.  HIV is a virus that attacks the immune of sufferers. The method used in this research was backward chaining and certainty factor. The backward chaining method was used for matching the facts or statements, while the certainty factor method was used to indicate certainty of the facts or statements. Based on expert testing that had been done, it concluded that the results obtained by using 20 test data gave the accuracy value result of 75%.

Abstract :In cultivating durian farmers often suffer losses because durian plants are always attacked by pests and durian plant diseases because farmers still use manual methods to find out in dealing with durian plant diseases. From the existing problems, the purpose of this study is to design an expert system with Certainty factor method in handling web-based durian plant diseases that can be accessed by anyone. The benefits of this research provide convenience and help farmers to consult those who have activities worthy of a very experienced system such as experts. The expert system method used is using Certainty factor. The research methodology used by using a qualitative approach. The location of this research was conducted at the Asahan District Agriculture Service specifically in the field of plantations. The design model uses the Rad model, the programming language used by PHP and MySQL as its database. The results of this study are expected by the application of an expert system using the web-based Certainty factor method to diagnose diseases in durian plants and provide treatment solutions so that it can make it easier for farmers and communities to deal with diseases in the durian plants.                                       Keywords: Expert System; Durian; Certainty factor  Abstrak: Dalam membudidayakan durian petani selalu merasa rugi disebabkan tanaman durian selalu diserang para hama dan penyakit tanaman durian dikarenakan mereka tetap memakai cara yang kuno saat mendeteksi serta mengatasi penyakit tanaman durian. Dari permasalahan tersebut jadi tujuan penelitian ini agar merancang sistem pakar dengan metode Certainty factor pada penanganan penyakit tanaman durian berbasis web yang dapat diakses oleh siapa saja. Manfaat dari penelitian ini memberikan serta mempermudah juga menolong para petani ketika bertanya, juga mempunyai aktifitas seperti sistem yang handal bagaikan para ahli. Metode sistem pakar yang digunakan menggunkan Certainty factor. Metodeologi penelitian yang dipakai dengan mengguna-kan kualitatif. Tempat penelitian ini berada pada Dinas Pertanian kabupaten Asahan khusus nya dibidang perkebunan. Model perancangan menggunakan model Rad, bahasa pemograman yang dipakai php dan MySQL menjadi penyimpanan data nya. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi sistem pakar memakai cara Certainty factor berjalan di web dapat mendiagnosa penyakit pada tanaman durian dan memberikan solusi penanganannya sehingga dapat lebih memudahkan petani dan masyarakat dalam menangani penyakit pada tanaman durian tersebut. Kata Kunci : Sistem Pakar; Durian; Certainty Factor

Pepper is an agricultural commodity that has a high selling value and is resistant to disease. Identifying the disease in pepper requires knowledge from agricultural experts to evaluate the symptoms of the disease being experienced. Involving an agricultural expert certainly has drawbacks in terms of slow handling, less effective management of large amounts of data. So we need a system that can accommodate these problems. Expert system is one of the sub-branches of science in the field of artificial intelligence, where expert knowledge is expressed in a model with an intelligent-based system. The expert system serves as an interactive consultant media in diagnosing pepper plant diseases based on symptoms. In producing the right decision, a process model is needed in the form of tracing rules and knowledge preference values based on input values in the form of probabilistic data / uncertainty for each symptom. Certainty factor modeling method has the ability to evaluate the preference value of expert knowledge. Based on the model and the weight value of each measure and level of symptoms, it can produce a high level of accuracy decision analysis. Expert systems have advantages that can accommodate expert knowledge in diagnosing pepper plant diseases in time series. This research can help farmers, researchers, experts or agencies in the field of agriculture to identify common diseases of pepper, so that it can provide basic knowledge about various types of diseases and treatment solutions to support the growth of pepper plants.

The Chilli in scientific language called Capsium annuum is not native to Indonesia, but came from the Americas, to be precise and South America Central America and Mexico. Quite a lot of chilli plants cultivated in Indonesia, especially in the land - the land of paddy fields and land - dry land that gets enough sunlight. In general, chilli plants grown as crops. Chilli and cultural communities, especially communities Medan Indonesia can hardly be separated, especially in cooking. Unlike the people - Europeans, Americans, and several Asian countries who prefer spicy pepper, Indonesian people especially people prefer spicy chili field. Virtually all the serving dishes found in cuisines that contain chilli although only slightly. Community needs for chili plants increases, along with the increasing growth of the community and increased social welfare. Although the need for chili plants increased, but not accompanied by increased production. As for the cause it can happen because ofpests, plant diseases, and less extension of the government. Artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence is a part of computer science that make the machine (computer) can do the job and as good as that done by humans. Intelligent systems (intelligent system) system wasbuilt using artificial intelligence techniques. One studied in artificial intelligence is the theory of certainty by using the theory of Certainty Factor (CF). Expert System (Expert System) is a knowledge-based programs that provide quality solutions to problems-problems of experts in a specific domain. Expert systems are computer programs that mimic the thought process and expert knowledge in solving a specific problem.

The lack of farmers' knowledge about various palm oil palm plant diseases and how to prevent plant is not attacked by the disease even with the lack of knowledge has led to mistakes in dealing with diseases that attack the oil palm plantations. On the other hand, to meet experts who are experts in the field of agriculture plant oil palm is very difficult, it is necessary for the right technology to solve the problem of oil palm plantations.  One way to overcome this problem by building a plant disease expert system palm, to facilitate the farmers know the oil palm plant diseases. There are various methods in an expert system, but here using certainty factor.  This study resulted in an expert system that can be used as a means for diagnosing the disease of oil palm trees are diseased, in the application development using Android SDK android studio and used to run android emulator on a computer or pc

This research aims to design and build expert systems of cow disease to assist farmers in identifying cattle diseases.A large number of cattle in Banyumas is not matched by the number of veterinarians, the Department of Fisheries and Livestock (DINKANAK). Banyumas records 961 cases of sick cows in 2016. This expert system is expected to assist cattle ranchers to identify cow disease and symptom-based remedies illness-symptoms. By using Inference Forward and Backward chaining which is a search method or tracking technique by using information from breeders, and Certainty Factor is used to accommodate the uncertainty of thinking of a data expert that is Doctor the process of extracting knowledge by interview. Inthis research system development using ESDLC (Expert System Development Life Cycle) with stages of Planning, Knowledge Acquisition, Implementation, and Evaluation. Testing is done with two approaches are Alpha Testing and Beta Testing. Alpha Testing conducted on the developer side to test the functional system using Black Box Testing method result all functional system can function well. Beta Testing is aimed at user acceptance by a Questionnaire method yields an average score of 76% or usability and the quality of system information is easy to.

The purpose of this paper is to create an expert system to detect oil palm plant diseases in order to help farmers / companies in providing accurate information about the diseases of oil palm plants and how to overcome them and to help reduce the risk of decreasing palm oil production. This system is designed to mimic the expertise of an expert who is able to detect diseases that attack oil palm plants. The method used is forward chaining that is starting from a set of data and proving a fact by describing the level of confidence and uncertainty found in a hypothesis. The results of this study are to diagnose diseases of oil palm plants and their computerization using web programming languages.

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. It can affect some parts of the body: lungs, lymph nodes, intestines, kidneys, endometrium, bones, and brain. According to the survey of tuberculosis prevalence conducted by Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2013-2014, Indonesia was the second country in the world with the most case of tuberculosis. It makes Indonesia become a country with emergency in lungs tuberculosis. An expert system for lungs tuberculosis detection is built to help people detecting the possibility of suffering from lungs tuberculosis. Therefore, it is hoped that the lungs tuberculosis patient can have early treatment. Certainty factor is used to solve the uncertainty problem delivered by the doctor when examining the patient. Thus, certainty factor is an appropriate method to be used in the expert system for detecting certain disease. This method has been correctly implemented, proved by comparing system detection result to manual calculation result. The expert system has 81.25% accuracy, 83.49% success using DeLone and McLean model, and a cronbach alpha of 0.82 which indicates a good reliability based on the indicators used in the questionnaire. Abstrak   Komputer saat ini merupakan perangkat yang sudah menjangkau hampir sebagian besar masyarakat. Kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang komputer telah menjadikan komputer sebagai alat bantu untuk memudahkan pekerjaan manusia dalam berbagai aspek. Salah satu contohnya menghasilkan suatu pendekatan utntuk dapat mengetahui jenis penyakit yang terserag pada tanaman dengan menggunakan metode Certainty Factor. Sistem ini, dapat membantu seseorang untuk mengetahui penyakit yang terserang berdasarkan gejala yang ada pada tanaman serta memberikan solusi untuk penaggulangan atau membasmi penyakit serta hama yang terdapat pada tanaman wortel dengan metode certainty Factor.Dalam  upaya pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman wortel secara strategis, seseorang pakar dibutuhkan  untuk bertindak sebagai media bantu, mengingat terbatasnya pengetahuan para praktisi petani wortel dalam mengetahui penyakit pada tanaman serta memberikan solusi kepada petani untuk membasmi penyakit yang terserang pada tanaman wortel.Sistem pakar tanaman memiliki tujuan mengetahui jenis hama dan penyakit, gejala, penyebab, pencegahan, dan menyediakan alternatif solusi penanggulangan hama dan penyakit pada setiap tanaman. Sistem pakar ini juga akan dapat membantu untuk mendukung aktivitas dalam pemecahan masalah.   Kata Kunci: Sistem Pakar, Wortel, Hama dan Penyakit, Certainty Factor, Web     Abstract   Computer current’s is device that has reach almost large part comumunity. Expert system plant have purpose know type pest and disease, symptom, cause, prevention and provide alternative solution handling pest and disease at every plant.
