Objective: to analyze the Environmental Education Perception Index in the light of national curricular parameters (PCN’s) within the scope of elementary education in state schools in the city of Guajará-Mirim, Rondônia, on the Brazil / Bolivia border. Method: for this study, factor analysis was used as a mechanism for building performance indices for each parameter studied. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - SPSS [30] tool was used to determine the proposed indexes that followed the scale advocated by Hair et al [21]. Results: the results presented by the teachers of the 4 schools correspond to the perception index considered “good” with an average index of 0.699. The average perception index of school technicians and managers was 0.591, considered a “regular” index. The students had an average performance of 0.537, considered a “regular” performance index. The general IPEA among all schools surveyed was considered “regular” with a performance index of 0.597. Conclusion: the fact that Guajará-Mirim has 92% of its territory occupied by Conservation Units and Indigenous Lands and a strong environmental policy does not correspond to the level of abstraction applied by formal Environmental Education. Environmental Education given in Guajará-Mirim elementary schools imposes considerable risks on the environmental conscience of future generations, as it presents certain deficiencies in fulfilling its institutional role as a social transformer, configuring itself as a limiter of sustainable development and awareness environmental.

Abstract In this article we reflect on the development of an educational fieldwork conducted along the Ipiranga River, in which we bring the debates concerning History of Science and Environmental Education closer together, by problematizing the social and environmental issues in the city of São Paulo in a contextualized and critical way. To that end, we established the limits for the hydrographic basin by highlighting the headwaters of the Ipiranga River and the changes it has undergone, as well as the political, sanitary and environmental meanings throughout the 20th Century. We associated the environmental issues with the history of two important institutions located along the river: The Botanical Garden and the Museu Paulista’s [São Paulo Museum] arboretum. We highlighted the practices, techniques and scientific representations that were developed on the sites, by valuing them as cultural heritage of the Brazilian science.

ABSTRACT In recent years the visitation of Conservation Units for recreational purposes has become quite popular, something that can be noticed in Parque Estadual do Cocó (PEC). It is an urban park, located especially in the eastern part of the city of Fortaleza in the state of Ceará. Although designed to protect its natural resources and biodiversity, low impact recreational activities are possible. However, it is necessary to know if these activities are compatible with the resilience of the environment, as adverse impacts may occur due to site carrying capacity thresholds. From this observation, the present study intends to trace its visitor profile, identify the main recreational activities and evaluate the satisfaction levels with the social (leisure and recreation) and environmental (environmental quality) functions of the park. For this, a bibliographic research was made and 3 field visits were made and a form was applied with the park visitors. Results indicate that most visitors are young, aged 20-24 years. Keywords: Conservation Unit; Parque do Cocó; recreation; public use. The methodological course was based on content analysis, seeking to identify and interpret the textual discourse of 7th grade books used in a sample of schools in the public network of Codó - Maranhão, specifically from the urban area of the city. The discussion was based on the methodological path proposed in the works of Mohr (1995) and Vidal and Porto (2012), with the appropriate adjustments in the criteria of interest of this research. From this point of view, three blocks of analysis were constructed in a systemic network, raising the questions guiding the research that were based on the following aspects: Profile of the Characters, Profile of Facts and Facts and Profile of the Social Function. The results showed that the "vaccines" content is present in all the books analyzed, but the historical approach is still shallow and therefore not satisfactory when considering the potential of this aspect for the promotion of a health education aimed at to students in training to meet the instructional needs of socially critical and participatory people. Keywords: Vaccines. The concept of citizenship was introduced to the Arab and Islamic region duringthe colonial period. The law of citizenship, like all other laws and regulations inthe Middle East, was influenced by the colonial legacy that impacted the tribal and paternalistic systems in all aspects of life. In addition to the colonial legacy, most constitutions in the Middle East draw on the Islamic shari’a (law) as a major source of legislation, which in turn enhances the paternalistic system in the social sector in all its dimensions, as manifested in many individual laws and the legislative processes with respect to family status issues. Family is considered the nucleus of society in most Middle Eastern countries, and this is specifically reflected in the personal status codes. In the name of this legal principle, women’s submission is being entrenched, along with censorship over her body, control of her reproductive role, sexual life, and fertility.

The question of project manager competencies and especially in social projects is a key issue for social organizations seeking to progress and achieve success. If the manager has an important role to play with regard to the social organization, he’s however dependent on his behavioral, professional and personal capacities. The purpose of this paper is to show, on the basis of a quantitative study carried out among 120 managers of social projects in cooperatives located in the city of Agadir (Morocco), that the success of projects is conditioned by the leadership skills. Consequently, factors related to behavioral skills such as Solidarity; Involvement; Patience; Creativity; Empathy; Motivation; Trust; Commitment; Self-esteem; Transparency; Self-control; Discipline and other factors related to professional characteristics and personal characteristics of project managers prove a positive and significant relationship with the criterion of success studied.

This research deals with the development of  self concept of Hiroko as the main character in Namaku Hiroko by Nh. Dini and tries to identify how Hiroko is portrayed in the story, how she interacts with other characters and whether she is portrayed as a character dominated by ”I” element or  ”Me”  element seen  from sociological and cultural point of view. As a qualitative research in nature, the source of data in this research is the novel Namaku Hiroko (1967) and the data ara analyzed and presented deductively. The result of this analysis shows that in the novel, Hiroko as a fictional character is  portrayed as a girl whose personality  develops and changes drastically from ”Me”  to ”I”. When she was still in the village  l iving with her parents, she was portrayed as a obedient girl who was loyal to the parents, polite and acted in accordance with the social customs. In short, her personality was dominated by ”Me”  self concept. On the other hand, when she moved to the city (Kyoto), she was portrayed as a wild girl  no longer controlled by the social customs. She was  firm and determined totake decisions of  her won  for her future without considering what other people would say about her. She did not want to be treated as object. To put it in another way, her personality is more dominated by the ”I” self concept.

The qualitative and clear definition of the legal regime of the capital of Ukraine, the hero city of Kyiv, is influenced by its legislative enshrinement, however, it should be noted that discussions are ongoing and one of the reasons for the unclear legal status of the capital is the ambiguity of current legislation in this area. Separation of the functions of the city of Kyiv, which are carried out to ensure the rights of citizens of Ukraine and the functions that guarantee the rights of the territorial community of the city of Kyiv. In the modern world, in legal doctrine and practice, the capital is understood as the capital of the country, which at the legislative level received this status and, accordingly, is the administrative and political center of the state, which houses the main state bodies and diplomatic missions of other states. It is the identification of the boundaries of the relationship between the competencies of state administrations and local self-government, in practice, often raises questions about their delimitation and ways of regulatory solution. Peculiarities of local self-government in Kyiv city districts are defined in the provisions of the Law on the Capital, which reveal the norms of the Constitution in these legal relations, according to which the issue of organizing district management in cities belongs to city councils. Likewise, it is unregulated by law to lose the particularity of the legal status of the territory of the city. It should be emphasized that the subject of administrative-legal relations is not a certain administrative-territorial entity, but the social group is designated - the territorial community of the city of Kiev, kiyani. Thus, the provisions on the city of Kyiv partially ignore the potential of the territorial community.
