This research investigated the impact of four features of teachers behavior viz. teachers support, facilities provision, security in classroom, and motivation of teachers on five aspects namely agreeableness, extraversion, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness personality traits of the students. The technique of Stratified random sampling was used for the selection of 1438 students from a population of 10 graders of the Hazara Division. The questionnaires, for teachers behavior and for exploring the Big Five personality of the students, were used for gathering data from the students. For analysis, Mean (M), standard deviation (S. D), and multiple regression analysis were used. Results showed that Teachers support negatively predicts the agreeableness trait of personality, Provision of facilities positively predicts extraversion factor of personality. Classroom security positively predicts the extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and openness factors of personality. Teachers motivation positively predicts extraversion, and conscientiousness factor of personality and negatively predicts neuroticism factor of personality.

The current study tries to understand the diverse nature of relationship between personality Big Five Model (PBFM) and student's perception of abusive supervision in higher education institutions of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Pakistan. Data was collected in dyads i.e. (supervisors were asked to rate their personality attributes while student were asked to rate the supervisor behavior) through adopted construct. For this purpose, data was collected from three government state universities and one Private Sector University. The focus was on MS/M.Phill and PhD student and their supervisors of the mentioned universities. After measuring normality and validity regression analysis was conducted to assess the impact of supervisor personality characteristics that leads to abusive supervision. Findings indicate interestingly that except agreeableness other four attributes of (PBFM) are play their role for abusive supervision. The results are novel in the nature as for the first time Neuroticism, openness to experience, extraversion and conscientiousness are held responsible for the abusive supervision. The study did not explore the demographic characteristics, and moderating role of organizational culture, justice and interpersonal deviances to understand the strength of relationship in more detail way. Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderation effects of the Big Five personality traits on the relationships between holistic experience constructs (i.e. servicescape and other visitors’ behaviours), emotional responses and revisit intention in the context of winery visitation experiences in Greece. Design/methodology/approach The study adopts a holistic approach to visitor experience and suggests that visitors base their experience perception on the servicescape’s attributes and other visitors’ suitable behaviours. Path analysis was adopted to measure the impact of these constructs on visitors’ emotions and the role these emotions play in predicting visitors’ revisit intentions. The moderation effect of the Big Five personality traits in such relationships was examined using the SPSS PROCESS. A self-administered, highly structured questionnaire was distributed to winery visitors in Greece; a total of 615 responses were used in data analysis. Findings The results indicate that all the examined relationships become stronger as a result of visitors having high or average scores for openness, extraversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness, or low scores for neuroticism. Research limitations/implications The findings enhance the existing literature pertaining to experiential marketing, wine tourism marketing and the role of personality in tourism by providing new insights. Practical implications The overall findings may benefit wineries in their efforts to carry out the following: increase visitors’ revisit intentions; design and manage the winery environment and the winery experience effectively; and design marketing strategies. Originality/value The paper’s originality lies in providing information to clarify the role of visitors’ personalities as a contributing factor to their emotional stimulation and their revisit intentions in terms of both constructs of experience (i.e. servicescape and other visitors’ behaviours). Furthermore, this study attempts to respond to recent calls to conduct multidimensional research on the servicescape construct, focusing on both the substantive staging of the servicescape and the communicative staging of the servicescape. Finally, the present study provides new and practical insights regarding the winery experience in the Greek context – an area where very limited research has been conducted so far.

Communicative ability is embodied as "extroversion" in the Big Five Personality Test. Extroversion is an extremely important concept in personality psychology and a more common personality trait. Typically, it includes boldness, self-confidence, liveliness, enthusiasm, optimism, and being. In studying adolescents’ social and emotional abilities, the OECD designed a communication competence evaluation framework based on “extroversion” in the “Big Five Personality” model based on the physical and mental development characteristics of 10-year-old and 15-year-old adolescents. In the OECD evaluation framework, there are three sub-dimensions of communicative competence: happy group, courage and vitality. This study is based on the evaluation data of Suzhou City in China and presents the evaluation results of the communicative ability dimension of the youth social and emotional ability survey in various ways. The data results are presented in the following three parts. The first part uses descriptive statistics to illustrate the overall score of communicative ability, the correlation coefficient of communicative ability and other sub-abilities, and the differences of each ability in age, gender, urban and rural areas, and school categories. The second part uses factors that affect the ability to communicate through multiple regression analysis, including background variables, student variables, teacher variables, school variables, family variables, the impact of student happiness, courage and vitality. Finally, the third part uses multiple regression analysis of the 10-year-old and 15-year-old groups to determine the influence of happiness, courage and vitality on life outcome variables such as health and well-being.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh big five personality danadversity quotient terhadap psychological well-being. Sampel dalam penelitianini adalah santri pondok pesantren yang masih menetap di Pondok PesantrenDarul Muttaqien sebanyak 259 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalahprobability sampling (simple random sampling). Analisis data yang digunakanadalah Multiple Regression Analysis pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan big five personalitydan adversity quotient terhadap psychological well-being. Proporsi varians daripsychological well-being yang dijelaskan oleh semua independent variable adalahsebesar 0,193 atau 19,3%, sedangkan 80,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabellain diluar penelitian ini. Hasil uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa Dimensiopenness to experience dari variabel big five personality memiliki pengaruh yangpositif yang signifikan terhadap psychological well-being, dengan koefisien regresi0,224 dan signifikansi 0,046 (p<0,05). Sedangkan variabel-variabel lainnya tidakmemiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap psychological well-being.

There are some specific trends and regularities of behavioral patterns in individuals which determine their personality traits. This study was aimed to determine the impact of big five personality traits on academic achievement of prospective teachers. A quantitative study was conducted by using the casual comparative research design. A sample of 759 prospective teachers was selected through proportionate stratified random sampling technique from two public universities. Big Five personality traits inventory (BFI) was adopted to collect data. Data was analyzed by applying inferential statistics. The findings showed the significant impact of personality traits like conscientiousness, openness to experience on prospective teachers’ academic achievement i.e. CGPA, while the impact of rest of the three variables i.e. extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism on academic achievement was not statistically significant. Findings also revealed that female prospective teachers were more emotionally stable than male prospective teachers. Accordingly, academic achievement of prospective teachers was predicted (20%) by big five personality traits, therefore it is recommended that teacher education Institutes arrange training sessions or workshops for providing guidance to educators and prospective teachers, to understand that every student possess different level of personality traits which have a great impact on their academic achievement.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the big five personality dimensions on the entrepreneurial mind-set. The subjects in the study were 100 university students (38% male, 62% female) with age range of 18-25 Year (M = 20, SD = 1.528). Sampling was done by using proportioned random sampling method. The instrument used is the big five personality dimension scale and the entrepreneurial mind-set scale. The data examined by multiple regression analysis test. The results of data analysis indicated that there was an influence of the big five personality dimensions on the entrepreneurial mind-set (R2 = .58, F (5.94) = 25.98, p = .000). The dimensions of extraversion, openness to experience and conscientiousness have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial mind-set. Future research is expected to be carried out on different subjects to see the consistency of research results.

This study examined the impact of big five personality traits on absenteeism with moderating role of ethical orientation. Data was collected from 150 university faculty members across Pakistan using a questionnaire. Results indicate that big five personality traits to a large extent account for absenteeism while ethical orientation plays an important role as a moderator. Implications and future research directions are also discussed.

<p>This paper examined the concept of negotiation and types of negotiation, namely distributive and integrative. It pondered on why people fail to keep to negotiation rules. Thomas Hobbes state of nature and Machiavelli’s concept of the human relationship used to explain this phenomenon. Furthermore, the article argues that this disposition is a consequence of people’s perception of negotiation as a game where one party’s gain is the other party’s loss. The significance of game theory in the negotiation is therefore emphasised. Personality factors were considered important in the negotiation process. The impact of the big-five personality on the negotiation situation was highlighted. Unethical practices could make the negotiation process difficult, thereby affecting the quality of decision reached during negotiation. The study concludes by suggesting some ways of succeeding in negotiation.</p>

The role of lecturers in determining students’ academic excellence is important. No matter how smart a student is, the knowledge gained may not be effective without the teaching of a lecturer. The effectiveness of lecturers’ teaching from the perspective of students is important in producing an excellent student who is able to overcome various obstacles in life and become an asset to a country. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine the students’ perspective on the effectiveness of lecturers’ teaching Economic courses. The sample of this study consists of 300 diploma students from various faculties who study at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Pahang Raub Campus. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed to the respondents using stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23. This study found that the effectiveness of lecturers’ teaching can be seen from the aspect of the lecturers’ personality, teaching methods, attitudes and lecturer student relationship. The findings also show that the main characteristics in the lecturers’ personality which of students’ choice are friendly, firm, caring, punctual and diligent. The Multiple Regression Analysis results show that the lecturers’ knowledge and teaching experience are the dominant factors that influence their grades. Furthermore, this study did not deny that the lecturers’ who are friendly, easily approachable and love to joke are also significant estimators for the students’ academic achievement.
