This study was conducted to determine the effect of the big five personality dimensions on the entrepreneurial mind-set. The subjects in the study were 100 university students (38% male, 62% female) with age range of 18-25 Year (M = 20, SD = 1.528). Sampling was done by using proportioned random sampling method. The instrument used is the big five personality dimension scale and the entrepreneurial mind-set scale. The data examined by multiple regression analysis test. The results of data analysis indicated that there was an influence of the big five personality dimensions on the entrepreneurial mind-set (R2 = .58, F (5.94) = 25.98, p = .000). The dimensions of extraversion, openness to experience and conscientiousness have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial mind-set. Future research is expected to be carried out on different subjects to see the consistency of research results.

This research investigated the impact of four features of teachers behavior viz. teachers support, facilities provision, security in classroom, and motivation of teachers on five aspects namely agreeableness, extraversion, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness personality traits of the students. The technique of Stratified random sampling was used for the selection of 1438 students from a population of 10 graders of the Hazara Division. The questionnaires, for teachers behavior and for exploring the Big Five personality of the students, were used for gathering data from the students. For analysis, Mean (M), standard deviation (S. D), and multiple regression analysis were used. Results showed that Teachers support negatively predicts the agreeableness trait of personality, Provision of facilities positively predicts extraversion factor of personality. Classroom security positively predicts the extraversion, conscientiousness, agreeableness, and openness factors of personality. Teachers motivation positively predicts extraversion, and conscientiousness factor of personality and negatively predicts neuroticism factor of personality.

It has become widely recognized that religiousness has a predictable pattern of small associations with Big Five personality dimensions, and has some intersections with cultural psychology. But just how large are those culture-religiosity intersections, and are there additional associations with personality when one extends beyond the restricted spectrum represented by Big Five traits? Moreover, do the answers to these questions depend on how religiousness is defined and measured? I argue that, both conceptually and empirically, religiousness itself meets the criteria for a personality dimension (including stability, heritability, and other grounds), and is simultaneously for the most part a cultural phenomenon reflecting often widely shared sets of beliefs, values, worldviews, and norms. The patterns of modest associations with other personality dimensions, from the Big Five and beyond, are consistent with both arguments. A distributive model of culture, under which culture is aggregated personalities (and especially mindsets) helps make sense of these relations. Tradition-oriented religiousness tends to have a prominent position in enduring-order (as contrasted with evolving-order) cultures, which helps account for its occasional expressions in political religion. In contrast, mystical spirituality is more prone to manifest as a sub-cultural phenomenon peripheral to mainstream culture. But for either conception—religiousness or spirituality—the same personality-and-culture propositions appear to hold. Nonetheless, religiousness seems not totally reducible to a variable for personality or cultural psychology, and considerations are introduced regarding what that irreducible element is most likely to be.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the Big Five Personality dimensions to the attachment style on adolescent friendship-relation. There were 220 subjects taken with simple random sampling technique from MAN 2 Tulungagung. The data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results found that there was a correlation between the Big Five Personality dimensions and attachment style. The Big Five Personality dimensions has effected on attachment style as well. Extroversion dimension is positively correlated and able to predict secure attachment style with (R=0.297). Openness dimension is negatively correlated and able to predict Fearful attachment style with (R=-0.373). Conscientiousness is positively correlated and able to predict Dismissing attachment style with (R=0.344). However, the dimensions of the Big Five Personality were not significant enough to predict preoccupied attachment style.

Prior work has indicated that female adolescents mature more quickly than males with regard to the various personality dimensions. From the developmental perspectives, this study aimed to explore gender differences in the relationships between resilience and the Big Five personality traits in Japanese adolescents. Middle school students ( N = 310, 155 females, age range = 14–15 years) participated in an online survey. The results demonstrated that females had higher Conscientiousness than males. Stepwise regression analyses indicated that Neuroticism was the most influential predictor of resilience in females, whereas Extraversion was the most important predictor in males. Multigroup path analysis demonstrated that the effect of Neuroticism on resilience was greater for females; however, the effects of all other variables did not differ across genders. Considering gender differences is important to understand the relationship between resilience and the Big Five dimensions among adolescents.
