Several factors are important determinants of students achievement. Students positive perceptions about these factors contribute to their achievement. Considering importance of students perceptions about themselves, teachers support, and institutional climate in influencing their academic achievement, this study specifically examines students perceptions about themselves as learners, teachers support, and institutional climate for predicting their achievement. This research employed survey and correlational research designs. For this research, 372 students were randomly selected as a sample using cluster and stratified random sampling techniques. For data collection in this study, a questionnaire was adapted from Donahue (1994). For data analysis, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used, with help of SPSS. It was concluded from multiple regression analysis that university students achievement (i.e., dependent variable) can be significantly predicted from their self-perceptions, teachers support and institutional climate (i.e., independent variables).

This study aims to determine the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in Kartu As products in Makassar City. This research was conducted in Makassar City with 105 respondents. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. This study was analyzed using hypothesis testing with multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS 21 computer program, to perform the f-test, t-test, and the calculation of R square (r2). The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the X variable (overall customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction dimensions, confirmation of expectations, re-purchase interest, willingness to recommend and customer dissatisfaction) has a significant effect on customer loyalty. In the t-test, there are two subvariables X that are not significant because the value of t count <t table, namely the dimensions of customer satisfaction (X2), and willingness to recommend (X5). From the calculation of R square (r2) of 0.423, it shows that the percentage of the influence of variable X on variable Y is 42.3%.

AbstractInterviews with 10 marketing managers of 10 four-wheeled motor vehicle brand in Jakarta that have the highest sales in January up to April 2017 show that the managers do not have enough cognitive understanding of knowledge management (KM). However, the managers, in general, are very eloquent when discussing about practical business aspects such as supply-chain, business competition, products, organizational culture, and company’s performance. Based on previous research, KM was placed as independent or intervening or moderating variable on company’s performance. The aim of this study is to analyze the role of KM on company’s performance. By using stratified random sampling, linear regression, moderated regression, and path analysis, it can be concluded that KM can be as independent, moderating, or intervening variable. KM becomes similar to a “bottleneck” when the managers do not know well what and how to implement KM. Therefore, this study suggests that needed further researches are needed to explore the role of KM and to understand how KM can be implemented in a company in order to sustainably improve the company’s performance.

Abstract Objectives:Doctors who wish to be the general practitioners (GPs) need to attend and complete general practice residents training in China. As in the early stage of the standardized GP training system, the GP training supervisors play an important role. This study aims to explore how the GP residents’ perspective towards GP supervisors and what factors affect the satisfaction tendency, and to offer some suggestions by the implication drawn from this study.Design:A quantitative and qualitative mixed study was conduct in the study . First, in the quantitative research, we adopt a survey by collecting training satisfaction through questionnaires, and extract and analyze the factors which influence the training satisfaction. Next, in the qualitative analysis, we conduct in-depth semi-structured interviews using the qualitative research criteria (COREQ)––a 32-item checklist for interviews. Participants:There are 1172 GPs whose time to start training varies from 2008 to 2017 in the quantitative survey while 100 of them filtered by stratified random sampling and extreme answers to the quantitative survey (less than 5% of the total sample) are chosen for the qualitative research to dig into the details. Specifically, the stratified random sampling is based on the resident's grade, region, and training basement level (city level or county level ), and the extreme answers refer to “extremely good” and “extremely bad” answers from the early 1172 participants comprehensive survey. Consequently, 30 extreme-answer participants were found and the left 70 were selected by stratified random sampling. According to the final implementation, participants meet the needs of information collection and sample estimation. Results:The results show that the satisfaction towards GP theoretical training supervisors, GP hospital-based training supervisors , and GP community-based training supervisors was different. From the average and long-term perspective, the prioritize of satisfaction is :GP theoretical training supervisors> GP community-based training supervisors > GP hospital-based training supervisors.GP hospital-based training supervisors need to improve GP concept, teaching methods and consciousness. GP community-based training supervisors need to improve their teaching methods, clinical theoretical knowledge and practice ability. Conclusions: On one hand ,GP supervisors team in China has been gradually settled up. On the other hand, the satisfaction tendency of residents toward GP supervisors are quite different, GP supervisors team need to be promoted and strengthened.
