Permasalahan moral yang sering terjadi dikalangan peserta didik disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman tentang makna moral itu sendiri sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya degradasi moral dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang moral peserta didik, cara menganalisis dalam memecahkan setiap masalah yang menyimpang dari moral yang baik, dan cara peserta didik beperilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai yang baik di dalam masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dari kajian literatur dari berbagai sumber baik indonesia maupun asing. Setelah data dikumpulkan maka dianalisis dan dikolaborasi dengan hasil penelitian asing untuk dijadikan kesimpulan dari artikel ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak peserta didik yang belum mengerti dan memahami konsep serta makna moral yang sebenarnya dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang moral yang baik. Selain itu, peserta didik belum bisa membedakan moral yang baik dan buruk dikarenakan perbedaan gender dari peserta didik dikarenakan proses penalaran yang berbeda. Selanjutnya peserta didik belum mampu mengambil langkah atau solusi dari setiap permasalahan moral yang terjadi. Untuk itu, pentingnya dalam memberikan wawasan kepada peserta didik tentang moral yang baik dan sesuai dengan kaidah masyarakat. Dengan demikian, guna mengatasi persoalan tersebut, maka pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dapat diupayakan untuk menganalisis penalaran seseorang dalam berperilaku jika dilihat dari gender.The moral issues that often occur among learners are due to lack of understanding of the moral meaning itself that causes moral degradation in the learning of citizenship education. The study aims to provide an understanding of learners moral, how to analyze in solving every problem that deviates from good morals, and the way learners conduct appropriate values in the society. Research using qualitative method by collecting data from literature study from various sources both Indonesian and foreign. Once data is collected, it is analyzed and collaborate with the results of foreign research to be the conclusion of this article. The results show that there are still many learners who do not understand and understand the concept and moral meaning in fact due to lack of knowledge about good moral. In addition, learners are not able to distinguish good and bad morals due to gender differences from learners due to different reasoning processes. Furthermore learners have not been able to take steps or solutions of any moral problems that occur. Therefore, it is important to give learners insight into good moral and in accordance with the rules of society. Thus, in order to overcome these problems, the learning of citizenship education can be sought to analyse the reasoning of one behaviour when viewed from gender.

Meta-ethics without normative ethics is empty. In the current climate this hardly needs emphasis: since 1960 or so philosophers in the English-speaking world have put away their earlier reluctance to think about substantive moral issues. For a while, in fact, it seemed that normative ethics would completely dominate the scene in the way metaethics once did, but, happily, this situation has begun to change with the appearance of a stimulating and illuminating body of work on the rational basis of morality. Even those philosophers most intent on solving first-order moral problems have begun to realize that, in the last analysis, normative ethics without meta-ethics is blind.

<p><em>The performance of contractual obligations holds an important role in the fulfillment of sales contracts, therefore, each parties involved would done their best to complete them. The existence of COVID-19 pandemic affected the trade sphere and could bring impediment in the form of force majeure. This research aims to find out the enforceability of COVID-19 as force majeure on the performance of sales contract and the enforceability of COVID-19 as force majeure according to UCP 600 on failure to presents complying documents. This research was conducted by using normative method and qualitative method, the latter was used to analyze the secondary data of which was collected by literature study of relevant materials. The result of this research shows that the enforceability of COVID-19 as force majeure depends on the way of sales contracts are worded and the tribunal’s interpretation on the laws and practices in international trade. The UCP 600’s force majeure clause phrasing open up the interpretation on the possibility of COVID-19 as force majeure, however, the clause cannot be enforced on the failure to presents complying documents, caused by COVID-19 or not, as it concerns the matter of Bank’s responsibility in the case of force majeure</em></p>

This research is intended to search and information about the strengthening of Islamic religious education (PAI) through the recitation of furudhul Ainiyah which is carried out in Nurul Jadid Paiton Junior High School. The method of this research is by qualitative method with case study method, to express. That is more intense and deep with the above phenomenon. Technique of completion of data and information is done through interview, observation, study study, and literature study. The findings of this research are 1). Students or students are required to complete the recitation of Furudhul Ainiyah as a condition to take the odd semester and even semester exam and become a requirement for class and graduation increase. 2). the implementation of the furudhul Ainiyah memorization is performed on Thursday and Friday nights and Tuesday nights, and can also be done during normal day breaks, 3). The responsible and recipient of the rote deposit are PAI teachers and their homeroom teachers, 4). For students and students who can not read written Al-qur'an is not subject to rote burden, but get special coaching related to Al-Qur'an reading written by the religious coordinator of students. 5). Today’s teenagers have a very close relationship with ICTs and the digital space related to them, as they have impacted the way the youth constructs their sense of self and the tools they use to perform their carefully constructed identity. One key element which influences the way one constructs their views by themselves is within the boundaries set by their biological sex and therefore through the behaviors associated with their asigned gender. Through the symbolic interactionist lense, or more specifically through Goffman's dramaturgical theory on the manner in which one presents him/herself in society, this paper looks at the manner in which teenagers use social media platforms and at the way they consume and create digital content in order to present their gender identity. The way teenagers consume and produce digital content differs and depends on how they interpret their ideals of femininity and masculinity, which are afterwards reproduced in the content they post on their social media pages. Therefore this research is an attempt to understand what are the factors teenagers take in account when consuming and producing content. What gender differences can be observed in regards to new media consumption? What difference can be observed in online activity behaviors between males and females? How do they feel about their gender identity concerning fitting in with their peer group? A mix-methodological approach was engaged in the data collection process. In the first stage of the research highschool students (n=324) from the city of Suceava (Romania) participated in taking an online survey. The initial intent was to meet with the young respondents in person, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic this was deemed impossible. For the second stage of data collection, six of the participants who took the online survey were invited to participate in a focus group designed to grasp a better understanding of the results from the previous stage. The discovered findings uncover engaging gender similarities and differences in social media consumption and the type, subject, matter and style in which they posted their content, but also in regards to the performance of the self between the online and offline space.

To expand the business ethics research field, and to increase society's understanding of Chinese insurance agents' business ethics, we investigated how gender differences are related to agents' business ethical sensitivity and whether or not these relationships are moderated by empathy. Through a regression analysis of the factors associated with the business ethical sensitivity of 417 Chinese insurance agents, we found that gender played an important role in affecting business ethical sensitivity, and empathy significantly affected business ethical sensitivity. Furthermore, empathy had a moderating effect on the relationship between gender and business ethical sensitivity. Both men and women with strong empathy scored high on business ethical sensitivity; however, men with strong empathy had higher levels of business ethical sensitivity than did women with little empathy. The findings add to the literature by providing insight into the mechanisms responsible for the benefits of empathy in increasing business ethical sensitivity.

Plutarch wrote twenty-three Greek Lives in his series of Parallel Lives—of these, ten were devoted to Athenians. Since Plutarch shared the hostile view of democracy of Polybius and other Hellenistic Greeks, this Athenian preponderance could have been a problem for him. But Plutarch uses these men’s handling of the democracy and especially the demos as a way of gaining insight into the character and capability of his protagonists. This chapter reviews Plutarch’s attitude to Athenian democracy and examines the way a statesman’s character is illuminated by his interaction with the demos. It also considers what it was about Phocion that so appealed to Plutarch, first by looking at his relationship with the democracy and then at the way he evokes the memory of Socrates. For him this was not a minor figure, but a man whose life was representative of the problems of Athenian democracy.

Empathy refers to the capacity to experience emotions similar to those observed or imagined in another person, with the full knowledge that the other person is the source of these emotions. Awareness of one's own emotional states is a prerequisite for self-other differentiation to develop. This study investigated gender differences in empathy during adolescence and tested whether emotional self-awareness explained these differences. Two-hundred-eleven adolescents (108 girls and 103 boys) between 14 and 19 years completed the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) and the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20) to assess empathy and emotional self-awareness, respectively. Overall, girls obtained higher scores than boys on IRI subscales like emotional concern, personal distress, and fantasy. Regarding emotional self-awareness, we found gender differences in TAS-20 scores, with girls reporting greater difficulty identifying feelings and less externally oriented thinking than boys. Difficulty identifying feelings explained the greatest personal distress experienced by girls. Lower externally oriented thinking accounted for girls’ greater emotional concern and fantasy. These findings offer an insight into the role of emotional self-awareness–which is essential for self-other differentiation–as an account for gender differences in empathic abilities during adolescence. In girls, difficulty identifying feelings can impair the ability to differentiate between ones’ and others’ emotions, leading them to experience self-focused and aversive responses when confronted with others’ suffering. Conversely, in boys, externally oriented thinking can mitigate personal distress when faced with others’ discomfort.
