The part 2 continues presenting the results of the study devoted to the assessment of the digital technologies’ impact on various industries, in order to define the tendencies of digitalization in Ukraine and the world. It is emphasized that various international statistical databases which specifics depends on the study’s objective are important for international comparisons. Due to the rapid development of technologies for collection, processing and communication of information, many organizations could perform various studies at macrolevel on the global economy scales, using international and national statistical databases covering nearly all the dimensions of the global development and including the indicators measuring digitalization processes in national economies and their segments. Consideration is given to the database indicators measuring digitalization trends, with selecting the indicators reflecting these processes in individual economies and related to digital transformations in the transport. The particular attention is paid to the Ukraine’s position in these international databases and the completeness of information on relevant indicators in Ukraine. A comparison of the selected indicators with the indicators of digitalisation in the transport sector in the official statistical database was carried out, and the systematization of these indicators was made in order to further improve the official statistical database by including in it the indicators on the development of information and communication technologies in the transport sector. The careful study and analysis of international and national statistical databases allowed for creating a set of indicators on digitalization in the transport sector, with including the indicators in it reflecting the dissemination of information and communication technologies in the transport sector and characterizing digital transformations in the transport. The proposed set of indicators is dynamic and can be complemented by other indicators in the process of digital transformations in the transport sector. Given the current global trends of the growing penetration of digital technology in all the spheres of human activity, this set of indicators can be used not only to monitor these processes in the transport sector, but also in the management practices.

The article outlines the current global trends in digitalization, which include the use of big data and cloud technologies, the spread of Internet of Things (IoT), the development of robotics, the spread of 3D printing technology, blockchain processes and crowdsourcing. The main problem of the article is to study the process of digitalisation in general and in the transport sector in the context of trends and development indicators, and to make recommendations for further improvement of the national statistical database by including indicators on the development of information and communication technologies in the transport sector based on international databases. The particular attention is paid to the consideration of the institutional basis of digitalisation worldwide, with focus on the practices of the EU, Germany, Canada, the USA and Kazakhstan. The experience of Ukraine in digitization of the economy and the transport sector in particular is carefully studied. Consideration is given to the database indicators measuring digitalization trends, with selecting the indicators reflecting these processes in individual economies and related to digital transformations in the transport. The rapid development in the world of information and communication technologies makes it possible to say that now they are one of the most common ways of teaching. These technologies influence the formation of methods and methods of pedagogical activity, open up new opportunities for communication and obtaining information. Informatization and computerization of education acts as a component of the general trend of global processes of world development, as an initial information and communication basis for the harmonious development of the individual and social systemic information. Preparing a student for an active and fruitful life in a modern digital information society is one of the main tasks of the modern stage of modernization of the education system.

This research aims to examine the intention of talented employees to leave an organization and discover how talent management practices could affect employee intention to leave an organization. This paper`s framework intends to outline the relationship between variables to present the idea of talent management practices and employee retention. The hypothesis was tested using a survey data set of 210 questionnaires collected from employees working in 82 ICT companies in Jordan to attain the research objectives. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS program, and EMOS program, and basic and initial statistical techniques were applied. The results show that talent management practices significantly affect employee intention to leave an organization. Accordingly, whenever firms applied talent management practices, employee intention to leave decreases. The results demonstrated that attracting talented employees has emerged to have the strongest effect on decreasing employee intention to leave; however, developing and rewarding talented employees was revealed to have the lowest effect. Thus, the ICT firms’ managers have to generate specific training programs to reward and develop talented employees. Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have been at the heart of economic changes for more than a decade. ICT producing sectors play an important role, notably by contributing to rapid technological progress and productivity growth. The existence of a widely accepted definition of the ICT sector is the first step towards making comparisons across time and countries possible. International comparisons are made more difficult by the lack of harmonization in the definitions of indicators. Accordingly, there is renewed interest in measuring productive efficiency to determine the degree of inefficiency (if any) and the sources of inefficiency, if it exists. This chapter provides a broad theoretical and empirical review regarding productive efficiency as well as its relationship to productivity enhancement, especially focusing on ICT and FDI investments, comprising two of the most important productivity enhancement means.

Information and communication technologies (ICT) can provide added value in an organizational context in order to enhance the definition of business support strategies. The purpose of the chapter is to focus on the contribution of ICT to implement a sustainability policy in the organizations, in the context of the sustainable development goals to improve cooperation and promote development. In this context, the principles of the Karlskrona Manifesto are applied to the development of software systems. The methodology focused on the literature review of the domain and on a case study, in order to analyze the impact of ICT as an engine of sustainability in organizations. The main conclusions focus on the analysis of the impact of established practices in organizations to design and develop sustainable software systems. The results point to a greater consciousness of the potential effects of software systems on sustainability, which will improve management practices, reducing the quantity of material to be recycled, and aligning organizational strategies with Green IT.

Telecommunications sector is an important strategic segment of the modern economy. Telecommunications is also an advanced technology sector and its restructuring is essential to optimize its revenues. Now it has been evolved to information and communication technologies (ICT), which is the main driving force of growth worldwide. In fact, ICT has paved the way for modern globalization. Owing to the rapid development of information and communication technologies, such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and computer vision, in recent years, the concept of smart sports has been proposed. A pitch fatigue detection method that includes acquisition, analysis, quantification, aggregation, learning, and public layers for adaptive baseball learning is proposed herein. The learning determines the fatigue index of the pitcher based on the angle of the pitcher's elbow and back as the number of pitches increases. The coach uses this auxiliary information to avoid baseball injuries during baseball learning. Results show a test accuracy rate of 89.1%, indicating that the proposed method effectively provides reference information for adaptive baseball learning.
