Online learning is learning that uses the internet network with accessibility, connectivity, flexibility, and the ability to bring up various types of learning interactions. Satisfaction is a person's feelings of pleasure or disappointment that arise after comparing his perceptions/impressions of the performance or results of a product and his expectations. Research on student perceptions of online learning is limited to aspects of teaching and learning, the ability of lecturers, facilities and infrastructure. To get results from the perception or opinion of a student from the level of satisfaction of online lectures, it can be done using the Fuzzy logic mamdani method and for calculations using the Slovin formula.

This study aims to determine the perceptions of students in Surabaya about online lectures when the COVID-19 pandemic. The Surabaya study is a research location because Surabaya is the second largest city after Jakarta which has the highest COVID-19 case in East Java Province. Researchers use the theory of Kenneth K. , Edward M. , Judy C. Pearson and Paul E. Nelson in (2008) about the stages of the process of perception, namely stimulation (sensation), attention, and interpretation. The method used is qualitative. The informants in this study were active students at the 10 best universities in East Java according to . In addition to using interview techniques, researchers also made observations on the 10 university's official social media accounts. As a result, students in Surabaya perceived that online lectures during a pandemic were good enough to reduce the spread of the corona virus. But in its implementation, students feel less satisfied with several aspects, one of which is the online learning support facilities provided by the campus such as the internet quota, even though the intensity of the assignments is greater than face-to-face lectures.

<p><em>Between the world of education and technology cannot be separated because these two sides are interrelated, student learning can be done online and offline by looking at the situation and conditions. The abilities and limitations they have are also different, so there is a need for a policy by dividing the zones in implementing online lectures based on the quality of the internet network owned by each region where the student comes from. The quality of the learning process can be seen from the quality of the lecturers who teach and the learning media used, especially in online learning everything has to adjust. The problem of an unstable internet network and lecturers who are not fully ready to teach online are the main problems in online learning. So that is the importance of dividing 3 zones for the application of online lectures, zone 1 network is strong and stable can study online, zone 2 network is less strong and stable, online and offline lectures and zone 3 networks are not yet available so offline lectures are conducted</em><em></em></p>

The teaching and learning process (learning) is an activity to carry out the core of education and curriculum at an educational institution. Teaching and learning activities contain various concepts related to the educational mission, educational foundation, and educational goals. In addition, learning is focused on what the lecturer must do as the one who provides learning. The learning process at this time is constrained by the Covid 19 pandemic faced by Indonesia, thus affecting all activities, one of which is Bungo Regency residents, especially in the academic field. Therefore, all learning activities carried out on campus are not allowed and must be done at home or online. One of them is the learning process for the Pancasila Course in the English Education Study Program (PBI), Semester II Year 2020/2021. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods in the form of photos and questionnaires via google forms which are distributed to students through whatsapp groups using 26 PBI second semester students. The results of this study indicate that students have internet signal problems, which are 81%. So the importance of the internet network is to make it easier for students to carry out the learning process effectively, due to the lack of a network. In addition, it emphasizes the advances in contemporary online learning tracing its difficult beginning and the progress made due to advances made in technology especially the World Wide Web and the Internet. The chapter also discusses the importance of immediacy in online learning, and its ability to allow students to learn from anywhere and at any time. Student problems include lack of access to the technology, readiness to work online, and the erroneous impression that they know the technology more than the instructor. Interaction includes the effective application of scenarios of student and content, interaction between instructor and students, and the interaction between students which help promote social presence. We strongly believe the application of the afore-mentioned strategies will ensure successful development and implementations of an effective online course.
