Renewable energy is needed as an alternative energy source. One of the implementations of renewable energy is the Solar Power Plant (PLTS). PLTS is a component that uses solar cells to convert solar energy into electrical energy. Unfortunately, the output power of this solar cell depends on the intensity of the light which causes the output power to enter the load to be unstable. Sometimes the PV power decrease because of the shading effect. From this problem a converter is needed to keep the system output voltage. The converter used in this research is the zeta converter. This Zeta converter can operate like a buck boost converter. The output of the system used is not stable. So that to stabilize it requires good control. In this paper using PI controller to control this system in order to keep the output system stable. 3. The error generated using the PI Control on the system is only 0.34%.

At this present time increasing electrical energy requirements, and therefore found the latest energy is solar energy. Solar energy can be harnessed as a potential alternative energy source because the energy is very large as well as environmentally friendly. Tool that can be used to convert sunlight directly into electricity is called photovoltaic. On the control panel to control the water pump on the motor control circuit design life turns automatically and manually. To control the timing of the displacement of the pump used to pump two timers. On the control panel of diesel propulsion sell used four times the displacement step. Switching time between steps in the set by a timer. The control panel uses the same circuit with the motor circuit alternating rounds.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to design a Photovoltaics (PV) stand-alone system for a residential load in Bunaken Island using HOMER (Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resources). Bunaken Island, the case study location, is a popular tourist spot in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. This island is facing the issue of limited access to electrical energy from the grid. The design and techno-economic analysis in Bunaken island leveraged HOMER software. This software was developed by National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Furthermore, the results suggested that the techno-economical PV stand-alone system in Bunaken Island could be developed as alternative energy to support electricity as energy security issued for Indonesia.

This research aims to make prototype battery from star fruit as alternative energy. In everyday life electrical energy used comes from fossils that will be used up in a period of time. Therefore, it takes an alternative energy that can reduce the use of non-renewable energy. We utilize star fruit vegetable as an alternative energy used as a replacement battery, where the battery can be used as energy. Battery of star fruit has a power of 1 Volt and almost equivalent to the battery in the market that is 1.5 V voltages.

In recent years, several factors such as environmental pollution which is caused by fossil fuels and various diseases caused by them from one hand and concerns about the dwindling fossil fuels and price fluctuation of the products and resulting effects of these fluctuations in the economy from other hand has led most countries to seek alternative energy sources for fossil fuel supplies. Such a way that in 2006, about 18% of the consumed energy of the world is obtained through renewable energies. Iran is among the countries that are geographically located in hot and dry areas and has the most sun exposure in different months of the year. Except in the coasts of Caspian Sea, the percentage of sunny days throughout the year is between 63 to 98 percent in Iran. On the other hand, there are dispersed and remote areas and loads far from national grid which is impossible to provide electrical energy for them through transmission from national grid, therefore, for such cases the renewable energy technologies could be used to solve the problem and provide the energy. In this paper, technical and economic feasibility for the use of renewable energies for independent systems of the grid for a dispersed load in the area on the outskirts of Isfahan (Sepahan) with the maximum energy consumption of 3Kwh in a day is studied and presented. In addition, the HOMER simulation software is used as the optimization tool.

Processing of agricultural and livestock waste produces biogas which is then used by the community to substitute natural gas energy and substitute electricity for clean water supply and produce organic fertilizer for farming purposes. This research was conducted using descriptive methods, by describing how to treat agricultural and livestock waste. Then a quantitative approach is used which aims to describe or explain the conversion of biogas energy into electrical energy. Biogas has good prospects as an alternative energy substitute for non-renewable energy in Indonesia which is experiencing an energy crisis which is characterized by increasingly scarce and high fuel prices which have an impact on the higher costs of generating electricity. In the Ganjar Farmers-Farm Group, the use of biogas by using goat / sheep dung is very potential, from 300 goats / sheep has the potential to produce electrical energy of 32.4 kWh / day. Most of the power plants that supply the Pati Regency region still use energy sources made from non-renewable energy materials. The depletion of fuel for these non-renewable plants, power plants with renewable fuels are absolutely necessary.

Inconsequent of decreasing fossil energy, It is necessary to developing an alternative energy source. One of the alternative energy that can be developing in Indonesia especially at Bilok Petung village, district of Sembalun, East Lombok Regency is water power station. This design is to review power station plan in Koko Putih that will have finished. Inputs in this design are flow rate and head which are available in Koko Putih. From this design, it is obtained that the inside penstock diameter  987 mm and the thickness  penstock in head 286.72 m is 15.15 mm, penstock material is carbon steel with specification ASTM A252 Grade 2. Head effective of Koko Putih water power plan is 249.603 m. Output power of turbine is 3.9 MW and output power of generator is 3,6 MW.

Eco-friendly technologies involved making use of alternative energy source which is abundant to generate renewable energy, reducing the amount of resource which is limited used through the conventional like fossil fuel.  For example renewable resources like sunlight, sea water and co2 which are abundant generating alternative resource like biofuel, solar energy, freshwater and air purification through greenhouse, vegetation and halophytes cultivation stabilize the degraded desert soil and as wind breaks reduce the impact of pollutants on the environment.

Batteries and solar panels are 2 device capable of converting sunlight into unidirectional electrical energy. The power of the energy stored from the battery can be converted into AC or DC current. A canopy umbrella covered with solar panel elements can be used as a mobile phone charger center as well as a place to relax. Umbrella which are a source of DC electrical energy are desaigned to follow existing products in the market with additional modifications in the form of new renewable energy (EBT) or by another nama environmentally friendly energy. This tool is named as umbrella energy, with the use of solar panels used at 90 Wp (Wattpeak), it can produce an average output power of 28.49 W hour. The system will generate maximum power for charging to the battery in 1 day of 227.99.
