This research concerns students' interest in deciding to enroll in Business and Technology Vocational Schools in terms of factors that influence students from information obtained through promotional media used by Vocational Business and Technology namely Banners, Brochures, Presentations, Friend Recommendations, Parent Choices , Own Choices, Teacher Recommendations and Others. The purpose of this research is to determine what strategies must be done by the Vocational Business and Technology through the promotional media used. The results of the 60 respondents showed that from eight sources of information about the Business and Technology Vocational Schools obtained by these students, the Brochure ranked first, followed by Parent Choices and then Friend Recommendations. The research method used is a survey using a questionnaire. The data obtained is then analyzed and presented in the form of tabulations.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the responsibility of a company to commit to running a business ethically, morally, and contributing to economic development and improving people's lives. Gemawang Village, Jambu Regency, Ambawara, is one of the locations for CSR recipients. This location is the object of this research. This study aims to analyze the role of CSR in enhancing community development, as well as to find out the obstacles faced by companies in increasing community development through CSR. This research method uses qualitative methods, where there are several key informants as sources of information. The indicators used in this study are the level of effectiveness, level of suitability, level of participation, level of empowerment, and level of sustainability. Based on the results of research in Gemawang Village, Jambu District, it can be concluded that CSR assistance provided by the company can improve community development and living standards. This study aims to determine how the ability of Jambi Friends of the Community of Friends in accessing, evaluating and using information. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and data triangulation. Based on the results of the analysis and research findings, the ability of the Jambi Sahabat Community Community Managers to access information based on the IFLA standard is said to be Expert, because it is seen from the manager’s ability to define information needs and to trace information through various sources, such as people who are experts in their fields, from print media: books and newspapers, electronic media: television and mobile phones. The ability of the Friends of the Jambi Friends of the Community in evaluating information based on the IFLA standard is said to be Expert, because it is seen from the ability of the manager to assess information and manage information obtained through clear sources of information, such as books, and internet media, as well as sources from internal community discussions. The ability of the Jambi Friends of the Sahabat Community Community to use information based on the IFLA standard can be said to be Expert, seen from the manager’s ability to use information and communicate information directly in the form of discussion, and indirectly as well as convey information with a simpler and easier to understand delivery

The objective is to carry out an analysis of the productivity of the distribution process, in the company DICONSA in Villahermosa Tabasco, for the generation of a proposal for improvement. This research will address topics of interest on the productivity of the distribution process, of the company DICONSA that is responsible for supporting both urban and rural communities. Productivity is a topic of great interest within the business sector, since based on it; The future of any company depends on the application and its use within the organization. Productivity indicators are essential to really know what state an organization is in. The research method is descriptive, since it was made from documentary research of primary and secondary sources of information. It will contribute with a diagnosis of the situation of the company and a model of improvement for productivity, within the company DICONSA located in Villahermosa, Tabasco.

This study aims to find out the increase in learning motivation through the use of Interactive Learning Videos Graphic Design students of class X TKJ in SMK. The research method used is R & D research using the ADDIE development model. The sample is class X TKJ in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Taman. Developed media declared 79% feasible with high criteria as a medium can be used for research. Based on the results of the use of interactive learning video media makes a difference in student motivation. Before using interactive learning videos, the results of the students with 56-70 grade range (medium) are being categorized C. Using interactive learning videos; students get the results to a range of grades 71-85 with good qualifications and categorized B. They also get the results of the range of grades 86-100 with very good qualifications and categorized A. In conclusion; the interactive learning video graphic design is feasible to be used as a learning medium for students of class X TKJ in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Taman. With the use of interactive learning videos there is an increase in motivation class X TKJ to learn on graphic design subjects.

Dissertations can be important sources of information about the future of a research field. These publications capture the ideas, theories, methods, and populations that emerging researchers deem important for study. Dissertation research often exhibits great rigor and innovation. This study of dissertations focuses on one specific field, which has importance in a large variety of academic disciplines: information behavior. An analysis of a sample of information behavior dissertations published in ProQuest Dissertations and Theses between 2009 and 2018 is performed. The top theories, methods, and study populations are identified using data functions to compile the results. While the majority of information behavior research originates in the discipline of library and information science (53%), the field is nonetheless highly interdisciplinary. The theories of Kuhlthau, Dervin, and Wilson are used extensively as frameworks in information behavior dissertations. Students are the most commonly studied population, while interview is the most commonly utilized research method. Information behavior is a diverse research field, stemming from a large number of disciplines and utilizing a broad group of theories, methods, and populations.

ESP course design model specifically in communicative speaking skill is very assential to be applied at vocational schools (SMK), because the students of these schools are prepared to work. In this case they have to know English well especially speaking. Moreover, ESP course approach designed based on the two fundamental principals mainly theoretical and pragmatics, and some of supported theories as well. Research objective is to know if the students of vocational schools which become a selected research is SMK Pariwisata Kosgoro at Jl Perjuangan Cirebon, are eager to accept that ESP course is one of their needs, in order they can improve their English particularly in communicative speaking skill. Meanwhile, the used research method is quantitative one.

This research has been conducted to analyze students' problem-solving abilities in direct current electricity in STEM-based learning. The implementation of STEM in this research is to train the domain of scientific practices and engineering practices that are associated with model problems and project-based learning. The research method used was pre-experiment with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the research consist of 27 students at the 10th grade of one of the Vocational Schools in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. The instrument of problem-solving ability in this study are four structured description questions, each of which consists of 5 questions, indicators of problem-solving ability, namely visualize the problem, describe the problem in physics description, plan the solution, execute the plan, and check and evaluate. As a result of the research, it was found that there was an increase in students' problem-solving abilities with the application of the integration model problem and project-based learning in STEM-based learning.

Data mining is the process of finding interesting patterns and knowledge from large amounts of data. Sources of information service, especially in the library, include books, reference books, serials, scientific gray literature (newsletters, reports, proceedings, dissertations, theses, and others). The importance of this research being carried out in the library in this study aims to implement data mining with the association rule method to solve problems, especially in the placement of shelves based on the category of the printed version of the book collection. This research method uses a qualitative research approach. Data was collected using documentation techniques and deep analysis of existing weaknesses to identify user needs whose information was obtained through observation and interviews with key informants (admin, user, etc.). For example, the determination of the best book placement patterns can be done by looking at the results of the tendency of visitors to borrow books based on a combination of 2 item sets with 60 percent of confidence value every month or week and must be evaluated or take a calculate again.
