The teaching resource bank is very important for the education of linguistics. In the construction of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, we should first build a teaching resource library. Only in this way can we meet the requirements of the Ministry of education and achieve better teaching objectives. The purpose of the construction of teaching resources database is to make the teaching resources can be systematically and scientifically planned, stored in the computer in the form of data, and can be directly extracted from the computer when necessary, so as to realize the efficient utilization of resources. Based on the existing problems of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the construction of teaching resource database. In recent years, the rise of artificial intelligence technology provides a new idea for the establishment of teaching resource database. According to the basic idea of artificial intelligence, scientists have established a new database of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, updated and improved the original database, and established a new standard for teaching database according to the characteristics of artificial intelligence technology. A teaching resource database system based on teaching resources and artificial intelligence is established. The system is divided into data layer, logic layer and presentation layer. Artificial intelligence is used as a bridge connecting different parts. In the process of establishing the multimedia database of TCFL, we should develop in all aspects, and pave the way for the future research after laying a solid foundation of data.

The influence of artificial intelligence technology on teaching design is explored to improve teaching efficiency. First, artificial intelligence is introduced and its impacts on teaching design are analyzed. Second, the connotation of the paradigm of teaching design and the paradigm shift for teaching design are explored using the paradigm shift analysis framework. Finally, the changes in teaching design under artificial intelligence are analyzed, and the impacts of artificial intelligence on teaching activities are investigated. The results show that the application of artificial intelligence technology has led to different levels of change in the six elements of teaching design, including teaching objectives, service objects (teachers and students), teaching content, teaching media, teaching environment, and teaching evaluation. The connotation and paradigm shift of the teaching design are introduced from the four elements based on the artificial intelligence technology. It is found that artificial intelligence technology can enhance the learning ability and cognitive ability of students to a certain extent while improving the teaching efficiency and learning efficiency. The investigation proves that the teaching design based on artificial intelligence technology can be applied to teaching activities, thereby improving the learning efficiency of students and the teaching efficiency of teachers.

Many researchers have considered comics as an excellent educational resource, pointing out to its advantages and its great educational potential. As a result, few authors have investigated the attitudes of students towards comics and they are rarely used as a teaching material in Benin in the learning of foreign languages. In this study, we aim to examine the attitudes of Beninese students of Spanish as a Foreign Language towards comic, as well as offer a reflection on some of the possibilities that can bring this teaching resource. In doing this, we analyze data from 25 participants which was obtained from a questionnaire, interviews, and tasks around the comic. Conclusions show that: (a) most participants showed a positive attitude towards comics and are highly motivated; (b) the use of comics contributed to improving their linguistic and intercultural communicative competences, as well as revitalized the learning of the target language. Finally, the paper concludes by pointing out the study’s implications and limitations, and offering suggestions for future research opportunities.

Our aim was to explore emotions in Instagram images marked with hashtags referring to body image–related components using an artificial intelligence–based discrete emotional analysis. A total of 500 Instagram photos marked by specific hashtags related to body image components were analyzed and specific discrete emotions expressed in each picture were detected using the Emotion application program interface API from Microsoft Azure Cognitive Service. Results showed that happiness and neutrality were the most intense and recognizable emotions expressed in all images. Happiness intensity was significantly higher in images with #bodyimage and #bodyconfidence and higher levels of neutral emotion were found in images tagged with #body, #bodyfitness, and #thininspirational. This study integrated a discrete emotional model with the conventional dimensional one, and offered a higher degree of granularity in the analysis of emotions–body link on Instagram through an artificial intelligence technology. Future research should deepen the use of discrete emotions on Instagram and the role of neutrality in body image representation.

Synchronization is an important aspect of the design and implementation of distributed multimedia database systems. In this chapter, we first examine the models that have been proposed in the literature to specify multimedia and multi-stream synchronization and the methods to implement synchronization mechanisms in distributed multimedia database systems. Their strengths and limitations have been compared, and the issues about time uncertainty and interactivity in multimedia and multi-stream synchronization specification and implementation are discussed. Moreover, we use an example to show how to incorporate a synchronization agent into a distributed multimedia database system. Finally, we discuss the trend of future research and development of this topic.

Craniopharyngioma is a congenital brain tumor with clinical characteristics of hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction, increased intracranial pressure, and visual field disorder, among other injuries. Its clinical diagnosis mainly depends on radiological examinations (such as Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging). However, assessing numerous radiological images manually is a challenging task, and the experience of doctors has a great influence on the diagnosis result. The development of artificial intelligence has brought about a great transformation in the clinical diagnosis of craniopharyngioma. This study reviewed the application of artificial intelligence technology in the clinical diagnosis of craniopharyngioma from the aspects of differential classification, prediction of tissue invasion and gene mutation, prognosis prediction, and so on. Based on the reviews, the technical route of intelligent diagnosis based on the traditional machine learning model and deep learning model were further proposed. Additionally, in terms of the limitations and possibilities of the development of artificial intelligence in craniopharyngioma diagnosis, this study discussed the attentions required in future research, including few-shot learning, imbalanced data set, semi-supervised models, and multi-omics fusion.

The main aim of this study is to give an overview of literature in the accounting and finance regarding the performance of Auditors’ GCOs, Statistical Failure Prediction Models (SFPMs) and Artificial Intelligence Technology (AIT). The study reviews the accounting and finance literature regarding (SFPMs) and presents the most important types of SFPMs and AIT that have been developed to evaluate a company’s financial position from 1968 to date. The study focuses on studies that compare the relative performance of auditors’ GCOs with SFPMs and AIT. Our findings illustrated that SPFMs and AIT are better in predicting companies’ failure than auditors’ GCOs. We found that the prediction power of SFPMs is in many instances very high. Their accuracy differed from one model to another, depending on several factors such as industry, time period and economic environment. The most commonly used and accurate models are the Altman models, logit models and neural networks models, although overall the NNs models produce better results. We found that SFPMs and AIT can be very useful to users when assessing a company’s future position. Incorporating the use of SFPMs and AIT in the audit program can provide further evidence that the auditors exerted professional competence and due care. This study provides a comprehensive overview of research on Auditors’ GCOs, SFPMs and AIT. The study provides a clear picture of the best tools used in failure/bankruptcy prediction in last decades. Thus, it is an aid to future research in the area.

To further innovate English teaching reform and promote the optimization and development of intelligent and innovative English teaching resources, an intelligent educational robot has been developed based on the current vigorous development of artificial intelligence educational robot technology. In addition, a set of educational robot assisted teaching curriculum resources is designed based on the robot, which is applied in primary school English teaching practice, and has achieved good application effect. The research shows that the robot can complete the functions of English vocabulary teaching, role play and free dialogue, and can further improve students' attention and initiative in classroom practice. The results of the questionnaire survey show that the teaching curriculum based on educational robot has higher scores in the completion of teaching objectives, the design of teaching content, the fluency of teaching links and the innovation of teaching process, which is superior to the traditional English teaching. This exploration provides important case data and theoretical basis for primary school English teaching reform, and it is of great significance to further innovate educational resources and promote teaching reform.
