Code-switching is one of the linguistics phenomena in daily activities. The study aims at focusing on the novices of pre-service teachers’ who use code-switching in the EFL classroom. It also explains why novices use code-switch in the learning process. The study used a qualitative approach. The data was recorded and transcribed to analyze why and how code-switching was used by nine novices in the classroom of MA NU Batang. The analysis of the classroom revealed that nine novices used code-switched in categorizing the forms of the utterances. The result shows that: (1) There are two ways in which the novices use code-switching in teaching and learning process, including form (word, phrase, and sentence) and function and condition were 132 or 55% utterances of code-switching (2) The novices use code-switching from L2 to L1 including form (word, phrase, and sentence) in learning activities. (4) The reason that the novices use code-switching in the classroom is to help the students when they explain in difficult words, phrases, or sentences the lesson. (5) The use of code-switching makes their students easier to understand what they are learning. Therefore, code-switching has a good effect in EFL classrooms to facilitate teaching and learning.

This study discusses the application of reward in the learning process in order to improve the learning achievement of students of accounting class X in SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas on economic and business subjects aiming to find out how the application of rewards in learning to improve learning achievement. Learning treatment in the form of reward giving is one type of approach in the process of teaching and learning activities that can provide stimulus to students to be more academically achievers in economics and business subjects. Academic achievement is the cognitive ability that begins with enthusiasm and the emergence of student enthusiasm in dealing with the process of teaching and learning activities.This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas- Serang Banten. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with a qualitative approach. The sample of this study were all students of class X accounting SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas as many as 36 students.The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning achievement in economic and business subjects by using a learning approach with the application of rewards in class X Accounting students in SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas .This is evidenced by an increase in learning achievement in economics and business subjects by using a learning approach with the application of rewards in class X Accounting students in SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas. This is evidenced by an increase in the number of students who passed the Minimum completeness criteria by 28 people or 77.78%.

This study aimed to describe a form of code switching and code mixing specific form found in the teaching and learning activities in the classroom as well as determining factors influencing events stand out that form of code switching and code mixing in question.Form of this research is descriptive qualitative case study which took place in Al Mawaddah Boarding School Ponorogo. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been stated in the previous chapter that the form of code mixing and code switching learning activities in Al Mawaddah Boarding School is in between the use of either language Java language, Arabic, English and Indonesian, on the use of insertion of words, phrases, idioms, use of nouns, adjectives, clauses, and sentences. Code mixing deciding factor in the learning process include: Identification of the role, the desire to explain and interpret, sourced from the original language and its variations, is sourced from a foreign language. While deciding factor in the learning process of code, includes: speakers (O1), partners speakers (O2), the presence of a third person (O3), the topic of conversation, evoke a sense of humour, and just prestige. The significance of this study is to allow readers to see the use of language in a multilingual society, especially in AL Mawaddah boarding school about the rules and characteristics variation in the language of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Furthermore, the results of this research will provide input to the ustadz / ustadzah and students in developing oral communication skills and the effectiveness of teaching and learning strategies in boarding schools.

<p><em>The objectives of research are to investigate the frequency of teacher’s code switching and code mixing, the function of teacher’s code switching and code mixing in EFL Classroom, and teacher and students’ attitude toward it. This research focuses on analyzing EFL teacher’s utterances at 10<sup>th</sup> grade and by using Poplack, Musyken and Wardhaugh theory. The method of this study is case study. The data of the research is in the form of written recording utterances during teaching and learning process in the classroom, interview and questionnaire. Based on the analysis of the data, reveals that there are three major conclusions about teacher’s code switching and code mixing in EFL classroom. First, code switching and code mixing exist in EFL classroom. Second, the use of code switching and code mixing in EFL classroom has various functions includes topic switch, affective, repetitive, directive and phatic function, as proposed by Sert (2005) and Apple </em><em>and</em><em> Musyken (2006). Third, the data from the questionnaire reflects the positive attitude toward the use of code switching and code mixing along teaching and learning activities in the classroom. While both teacher and students agreed that code switching and code mixing can promote better understanding and be effective to make students understand their teacher’s practice instructions and material explanation. </em></p>

This study aims to determine the code-switching used by English teachers in teaching English at SMA Pesantren Putri Al-Manawwarah. There is one problem in this study, namely the types of code-switching used by the research subject in teaching and learning of English at SMA Pesantren Putri Al-Manawwarah. The researchers conduct descriptive-qualitative research. This study uses a qualitative approach because the data are spoken. Therefore, it is interesting to observe this phenomenon to find out the types. The data collection are; observation, recording, and note. The result of this study shows that the details of code-switching used by the teacher. In the English teaching and learning process within 2x45 minutes, there are 114 utterances in English teaching and learning process which are pronounced by the teacher. There are three types of code-switching (inter sentential code-switching, Intra sentential code-switching, and tag switching). According to the type, there are 59 utterances of code-switching. The number of inter sentential code-switching is 31 utterances (53%), Intra sentential code-switching is 14 utterances (24%), and tag switching is 14 utterances (24%).

Improving the quality of learning in school is very dependent on several factors. One of them, the improvement of good culture in schools. School culture is a positive thing that must be maintained and implemented by all school residents without feeling compelled. One of the culture of schools that must be maintained is the problem of discipline, including the discipline of the teachers in attending class in the teaching and learning process. As a figure who is always modeled after his behavior, the timely attendance of teachers in class is a clear example of discipline that will be seen and even emulated by students. This study aims to describe the improvement of teacher discipline in teaching presence in the classroom through the application of Reward and Punishment. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were educators in SMPN 1 Pelepat Ilir. The method used in this study is the School Action Research (PTS) method. The results achieved from this study are that the application of Reward and Punishment is effective for increasing the discipline of teacher presence in class in teaching and learning activities.

Strategy is a plan or steps that are carried out systematically, which has a system to facilitate the implementation of an activity in order to achieve the purpose specified. The learning process will be effective when learners participate in it and learners do most of the learning activities. The success of learning is influenced by various factors, one of which is the factor of learning strategy. Selection of learning strategy is very important because learning strategy is a way to deliver lesson materials so that in the process of teaching and learning the teacher is not too dominate the learning activities. The dominant thing is that learners only listen.Learning strategy is a planning that contains about a series of activities designed to achieve learning objectives, so that teachers need to understand well the role and function of the strategy in the implementation of the learning process. Active learning strategy can be used as an alternative learning that can improve the quality of physics learning.Learners use their ability to learn various problems and apply what they have learned. Implementation of appropriate learning strategy is expected to overcome the low learning outcomes of learners by making learners as independent learners and create an atmosphere that makes learners active in learning is a learning strategy FIRE-UP. According to Madden FIRE-UP strategy (Foundation, Intake information, Real meaning, Express your knowledge, Use available resources, Plan of action) can make learners more active because learners are made into independent learners.The stages of the FIRE-UP strategy will encourage learners to prepare for the basic knowledge of learners after studying their own textbooks or lesson materials in order to prepare learners to address the unknown (Foundation), how learners can concentrate on incorporating information acquired (Intake Information), creates the true meaning of the new information it receives through the process of assimilation into its real-world knowledge, reveals what is known and asks unknowns through discussion or re-teaches to its peers (Express your knowledge, Use available resources), as well as planning the activities of learners in presenting their group work (Plan of Action).Based on the results obtained the value of the first cycle, the second cycle and the third cycle in a row (77,94%), (81,76%) dan (85,97%).

This research is an attempt to implement recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in the material of the Qur'an in class VII students at Al Manar Bener Tengaran MTs. In a teaching and learning activities it is not enough just to transfer knowledge and lecture only. As a teacher must have the skills and methods of learning that are fun so that learning can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The main questions to be answered through this research are (1) How is the implementation of recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an ' an Hadith of grade VII students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran ?, and (2) What are the Obstacles and Solutions in the implementation of recitation and reading skills in the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an Hadith of grade VII students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran ?. To answer these questions, this research uses a qualitative approach by sharing the stages in its research. Based on literature review and research results in the field, the research can conclude that the results of research on the implementation of recitation and reading skills of the Qur'an in learning the Qur'an Hadith VII grade students at MTs Al Manar Bener Tengaran in planning, implementing, evaluating as well as obstacles and solutions in the learning process in accordance with the material taught namely recitation and the skills in reading the Qur'an. The background of the problem in this study is that the behavior of the discipline is not fully owned by the children, so that it affects the teaching and learning process in the classroom. There needs to be a renewal in the form of strategies or media that can familiarize the discipline behavior of children, so that children can get used to discipline by using the discipline tree. This study aims to determine the application of the "Disciplinary Tree" in improving the character of child discipline and to measure the increase in the character of child discipline through "Disciplinary Trees in Kindergarten IK Ceria Family Sleman. The research method used is a research method with a qualitative approach in the form of classroom action research (CAR). Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study were children of Class B1 Kindergarten IK IK Ceria Sleman Family with a total of 22 students, consisting of 9 girls and 13 boys. The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) the application of the discipline tree is done by introducing the discipline tree, its function and how to use it in children, then the children are asked to try and apply it during the learning activities. The teacher observes the child's disciplined attitude when using the discipline tree; 2) increasing the character of child discipline through Disciplinary Trees at IK IK Ceria Happy Family by 39.7%

Special service administration is to provide services specifically or a business that is not directly related to the teaching and learning process in the classroom. But specifically given by the school to the students so that they are more optimal in carrying out the learning process Special service management in schools is basically set and organized to facilitate or facilitate learning, and can meet the special needs of students at school. Special services are held in schools with the aim of facilitating the implementation of teaching in the context of achieving educational goals in schools. Education in schools also includes trying to keep students in good condition. Good here concerning physical and spiritual aspects. Special services provided by schools to students, between schools one with other schools are generally the same, but the management process and utilization are different. Some special services available at school include: Library, Labor, UKS (School of Health Business), School Kafetaria, Facilities of worship, Dormitory, Cooperatives and Transportation. Thus, special service management is a process of providing services to students to support learning activities so that educational goals can be achieved effectively and efficiently.
