There are conflicts between husband and wife that are closed, and some are open, but the ends remain the same, many of which end in divorce. Therefore we need a concept that can be used as a guide to control, reduce, and or at least minimize the possibility of conflicts that can grow and or even those that have already emerged. The government has formulated this concept as an effort to create a prosperous family that is peaceful and happy. To minimize the possibility of domestic conflict, the ministry of religion initiated a program for the Sakinah family movement. The program was then followed up by education and training institutions (education and training) by training the supervisors of the Sakinah family movement from various sub-districts in Indonesia. The main target of the exercise is to disseminate multiple government programs. This paper uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection technique takes data from various digital literacy sources, while the data analysis technique uses deductive techniques. This paper was written to describe the concept of the sakinah family according to the government, in this case, the ministry of religion. The general conclusion of this study shows that the idea of the sakinah family is a happy family that interacts with a pattern of mutual need, love, and affection, standing on legal marriage, with the ability to carry out its obligations and rights, accompanied by adherence to religious teachings and state law. This concept is the knowledge that must be understood in depth, accompanied by a strong will to practice it and a maximum ability to implement it.

Introduction The socioeconomic impact of aging population can be reduced if majority of people achieve successful aging. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of researcher’s defined successful aging (RDSA) and self-rated successful aging (SRSA) among pre-retirement public servants and their predictors. Methodology The sample included 1,064 pre-retirement public servants (50 to 60 years old) from nine government agencies. Data was analyzed using Multiple Logistic Regression to test for the association between the studied factors and SA. Results The prevalence of RDSA and SRSA was 37.5% and 98.7%, respectively. Results showed four (4) significant factors with higher odds of having RDSA were not obese, good social support, being physically active and younger age. Meanwhile, five (5) factors highly selected by respondents as predictors for SRSA were having good spiritual or religious practice, happy family, good psycho cognitive function, social support and good physical function. Conclusion The prevalence of SRSA was higher despite the presence of self-reported chronic diseases and physical limitation identified among respondents. The discrepancy in both prevalence of SA reflects the differences that exist between the criteria for SA perceived by respondents and researchers. Misperception among respondents of their aging process as ‘successful’ despite having diseases or disability may worsen their health status because they continue practicing unhealthy lifestyles without action to improve it. Promotional activities on SA, regular health screening since young and healthy working environment should be implemented by various agencies. Keywords Successful aging - pre-retirement - public servants - predictors

Marriage is an inner and outer bond based on the rules of religion and the laws between a man and a woman to constitute both inner and outer happy family. However, the high number of failing cases and divorce decisions in the Religious Court shows that there are various factors that might be a trigger to the failure of a marriage. A number of divorce cases data in Tulungagung Regency shows 225 divorce cases per month with an average of 20 lawsuits every day. The data in 2017 show that out of 3,114 divorce cases 2,150 cases were filed by women. The results of the analysis show that the high divorce rate is one of the dominance factor of dispute or quarrel (syiqoq) which was triggered by the following reasons; economy, one party leaves another party, continuous disputes, domestic violence, adultery, drunkenness and gambling. The high interest of the people of Tulungagung Regency who work as both Indonesian workers and female workers (TKI/ TKW) allegedly contributed to high divorce rate by the reason of syiqoq.

The first generation of Polish migrants in Germany in the 1980s and 1990s sought to improve the economic situation of their families and tried to blend in with German society. Only their descendants managed to do so. They experienced the upward mobility that their parents expected of them. However, they were not prepared for the generational change related to it. The change involved the transformation of the cultural capital in the migrant family. The article presents an analysis of the intergenerational transmissions in Polish families in Germany, based on autobiographical interviews with the second generation of migrants. The article explains why the eff orts of the first generation to build a life in Germany did not translate into a happy family life. Neither did it bring enough economic resources for the first generation to pass economic capital to descendants. Social capital turned out to be a strong feature of Polish families. The supportive role of grandmothers and other family members has often proved to be of a huge value. Paradoxically, the absence of their parents gave their children a lot of freedom and free time to build their own networks of friends. The article also draws attention to the negative dimension of social capital in Polish families. It manifests itself in limiting expectations and pressure exerted by the family on the second generation.

The article discusses the values and attitudes in the field of family and marriage, common among the population of 17–49 years. The survey was conducted in 2020 in 10 regions of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Bashkortostan. The institutions of marriage and the family, and the values on which they are based, have undergone significant changes in recent decades. Their transformations are interpreted as a departure from the so-called traditional attitudes and behaviours and the transition to modern modernization or postmodernization. It is concluded that the population of the Republic has, on average, more traditional family and marriage attitudes and values than the population of the Russian regions that participated in the study. They manifest themselves in the chosen scenarios of marriage, in its motivation, in the ideas of a happy family. It cannot be argued that this is happening at the expense of the rural population, that it is definitely more conservative than the urban population. Although many views of the villagers are more traditional (attitude to the marriage contract, same-sex marriage and some others). The opinion of urban residents on many issues is often polarized, they are clearly divided into supporters of traditional values and modern ones. The polarity of opinions may explain the presence among them of recent immigrants from the village, who have not fully accepted the new values for themselves. Older groups – 30–49 years old, 40–49 years old on some issues, as well as women – are distinguished by great traditionalism. Among representatives of the youngest group, 17–29 years old, who have already entered or will enter the age of active marriage in the next few years, traditionalism is noticeably reduced.
