A retrospective and prospective analyses of the rate of incidence and prevalence of diseases of the population of Ukraine over 1990-2017 were carried out on the basis of sectoral statistical reports and professional editions, which made it possible to characterize the current state of health and identify the tendencies in the incidence and disease prevalence in the country. Objective: We studied and analyzed the tendencies of the health state of the population in Ukraine. Materials and methods: We used the data of the sectoral statistical reports and professional editions over 1990-2017, as well as the annual report “On the State of Health of the Population, Sanitary-and-Epidemiological Situation, and Results of the Activity of Health Care System” by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, State Institution «Ukrainian Institute for Strategic Studies, Ministry of Health of Ukraine». The method of the statistical analysis of the factual and analytical material was used as a main one, it forms a holistic view of health and medico-demographic situation in the country. Results: During the years of Ukraine's independence, insufficient attention has been paid to the problems of health improvement. The population numbers is falling sharply. In Ukraine, health care costs are low in comparison with the European countries. The structure of morbidity has changed over the last 10-15 years. The most vulnerable groups: children and adolescents, the elderly are of particular concern. An important role in the formation of morbidity rates is played by chronic non-communicable diseases, their level increased significantly in 2005-2010. The general pathological incidence of school-age children in those years also increased and had a significantly higher level among girls than boys. The incidence rate of mental and behavioral disorders in Ukraine has increased. The prevalence of mental and behavioral disorders had its own features in different regions. The rates of incidence and prevalence of diseases in the children of 0-17 years old of age were quite high and had a wavy nature. Conclusions: The implementation of the state and sectoral measures for the improvement of the health of the population of Ukraine, a cardinal reconstruction of the public view regarding the causes and consequences of a significant deterioration in the health of the population can be solved by a radical way of the preservation and strengthening of both personal and public health.

ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the prevalence of various anxiety disorders among mental and behavioral disorders as a cause for the leave of absence of workers in the state of Piauí. Method: transversal census-based study performed with data from the National Social Security Institute. Four-hundred twelve leaves of absence of workers due to anxiety disorders in the 2015-2016 biennium were included. Results: higher prevalence was found for mixed anxiety-depressed disorder (31.2%), followed by other anxious disorders (20.6%) and generalized anxiety (14.1%). Ages from 22 to 45 years old prevailed in the group of individuals with duration of absence greater than or equal to 41 days, with statistically significant difference (p < 0.001). There was no statistically significant association (p = 0.004) between rural activity and increased time of absence. Conclusion: the study draws attention to the prevalence of “other anxiety disorders” as the cause of leave of absence, with emphasis on mixed anxiety-depressed disorder.

The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed weaknesses of capitalism as an economy and polity, and revealed the latent potential of postcapitalism. A novel coronavirus is more likely to arise given massive industrial agriculture; the state of health care sectors is a result of neoliberal policies; the pandemic’s impacts were characterised by capitalist inequities; economic repercussions expose a crisis-prone system. Conversely, responses included pandemic solidarity and sharply increasing mutual aid groups. Postcapitalist currents have been arguing for localisation of economies and autonomous governance for decades; the Covid-19 pandemic reveals the rationale for these calls and the urgency to apply such approaches.

<p><strong>Introduction.</strong> World Health Organization is worried about poor children vaccination inUkraine. After the signing of the coalition agreement between the main political parties, which were held into the Ukrainian Parliament of VII convocation, representatives of WHO and UNICEF welcomed «the inclusion of conditions of vaccines procurement together with international partners and organizations in the coalition agreement, and reaffirmed their willingness to purchase and contribute in response to corresponding request of the Ministry of Health care of Ukraine». However, coordinated decisions were not accepted. And the overall condition of financing the health care system and the Program of immunization as its component does not comply with the WHO’s requirements.</p><p><strong>Methods of research:</strong> bibliographical, analytical, systematic and logical.</p><p><strong>Results and discussion.</strong> According to the immunization Schedule in Ukraine, 10 infectious diseases, such as diphtheria, pertussis, rubeola, rubella, epidemic parotitis, polio, tetanus, tuberculosis, hemophilic infection, hepatitis B are subordinated to prevention by vaccination. Vaccines against these diseases in accordance with the law of Ukraine № 1645-14 «On protection of population against infectious diseases» are centrally purchased on a single state tender held by the Ministry of Health care of Ukraine. Nowadays, it is currently completing the implementation of current National program of immunization and population protection against infectious diseases for 2009-2015, which was adopted by the Law of Ukraine № 1658-VI, dated on 21st October, 2009.</p><p>The problem of infectious diseases immunization must be strategic in any socio-political circumstances of country’s life. However, according to analysis of the state funding of the health care system ofUkraineas in general and as its component – system of immunization inUkrainetraditionally faced a shortage of funds, along with the low cost effectiveness. This tendency has occurred not only in the current military conflict, but also has become a disappointing practice. So, the percentage of financing costs on the health care system from the State budget has traditionally been at the level of 3,7% of GDP and covers about 57% of the total population needs. However, the analysis of audits materials of the Accounting chamber of Ukraine shows that projected amount of funding from the State budget of the Program on immunization during 2009-2015 variances with the real allocations in 2011-2013 inaverage of 45,3%. Along with this, the conclusions of the Accounting chamber for 2007-2013, Ministry of health care traditionally does not provide efficient use of available funds of the State budget. This led to the fact that it was failed to reduce the level of infections, against which is held by means of immunization. This is demonstrated by the vaccination coverage of the population in 2014 at a level from 15 to 49% depending on infectious disease by the WHO recommendations – 95 %.</p><p><strong>Conclusions:</strong> reform of the Program of immunization financing must firstly focus on improving the efficiency of spending, particularly through the reform of sector procurement that is offered like in many countries to conduct through the mediation of WHO and UNICEF through the «framework» (directly long-term) agreements with suppliers of vaccines. And it already needs not declarative, but real political freedom.</p>

Abstract.Health care has arguably been the most important issue in Canadian politics in the past decade. This paper focuses on the extent to which the media affect public perceptions of “the way things are” in the Canadian health care system. Individual perceptions of the state of health care are analyzed as being a function of personal experience with the system, loyalty or pre-formed opinions and the information that the individual receives through the media. Results indicate that media use has a significant effect on the likelihood of negative perceptions regarding the state of health care.Résumé.

Abstract. Introduction. Socio-economic inequalities can be one of the causes of the eating patterns and physical activity of student’s change. Obesity and overweight are a problem in today's society, and its trend upward, especially in children, have made that they should be considered as the epidemic of the 21st century according to International organizations. Material and methods. This study aims to describe the reality of the State of health of students, so it is a descriptive study with 154 students from schools in the Region of Murcia. It´s analyzed the data extracted from the students through three questionnaires and measurement of height and weight. Nutritional status by measuring the rate of body mass (BMI = weight/Altura²) is evaluated. BMI classification is performed using the tables established by the project Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance III Project, gender and age. Results. Overweight and obesity appear to be associated with more variables apart from the physical activity and nutrition, since these can be affected by socio-economic and cultural level. Conclusions. It is worth noting the existence of significant differences both in the socioeconomic situation and in the state of health of the students, which shows the association between the economy of the family and the nutritional health of their children. This study ends with new lines of research on the subject and educational implications.

The state's policy is to integrate information systems into a single information space within the electronic health care system. The state plans and coordinates information systems that are implemented at the expense of the state or local budgets in order to rationalize the use of available resources and to avoid duplication of information systems functionality. With regard to information systems implemented through private funds, the function of the state is to build infrastructure (standardization, certification, market surveillance) for quality management in the market. The state provides single entry of information and its further processing in many information systems, storage of basic patient information within the central component of the WHO, and expanded information (eg data in clinical registers) in decentralized specialized information systems. The purpose of this study is to study the place of information technology in the implementation of medical activities. I would point out that medical activity is a set of actions of medical and pharmaceutical workers in providing medical care or service to a patient within the legal (subject to obtaining a license) and ethical (oath of Hippocrates) norms, ie compliance with the stages of treatment in accordance with the established standards of the Ministry of Health. We used in research scientific methods to analise in an objective and systematic way the information technology in the performance of medical activities, describe it with empirical. formal-logical, comparative-legal methods. It should be noted that e-Health is an electronic system that helps patients to receive and to doctors to provide quality medical services. All medical records throughout 2019 will be transmitted electronically. The main purpose of implementing an electronic healthcare system is to minimize fraud and corruption. In the future, e-Health will enable everyone to get their medical information quickly and doctors will be able to diagnose correctly with a holistic picture of the patient's health. The aim of the MoH is to launch a full-fledged eHealth by 2020, which would not only reflect the relationship between the hospital and the state but also be a register of medical records of all Ukrainians. Results. Thus, with the advancement of information technology, the growing share of medical research that relies on mathematical (computer) modelling has become commonplace in clinical practice, making it clear that IT capabilities are becoming a major contributor to medicine and health care. To date, many serious studies and projects are being implemented in the world to implement IT in the medical field. Due to medical reform, continuous computerization necessitated the need for medical staff to have computer skills. Today, in the medical field, services such as electronic medical record, electronic prescription, electronic referral, etc. are included in daily life. Electronic automated preparation of appointments, prescriptions, statements, hospital letters and other standardized documents for patients. In particular, there are automated databases of medical, pharmaceutical and scientific-pedagogical staff of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Conclusion. The impact of IT on health care plays an extremely important role, as with the implementation of health care reform in Ukraine there is complete computerization of all branches of the medical field.
