The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the effect of knowledge on work motivation. 2) Analyzing the effect of skills on work motivation. 3) Analyze the influence of knowledge on employee performance. 4) Analyze the effect of skills on employee performance. 5) Analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance. 6) Analyzing the indirect effect of knowledge on employee performance is mediated by work motivation. 7) Analyzing the indirect effect of skills on employee performance is mediated by work motivation. This research was conducted at Rijan Mart III (Komplek PP. Riyadlul Jannah Pacet Mojokerto) Raya Polsek, Jl. West Pacet, Ledok, Pacet, Kec. Pacet, Mojokerto, East Java 61374, research time in August 2016. The population in this study were employees of Rijan Mart III (Komplek PP. Riyadlul Jannah Pacet Mojokerto). The sampling method used was saturated sampling because the population was only 40 people. Other terms of saturated sample are census, quantitative data analysis and statistical testing methods. From the research results it can be concluded as follows: 1) Knowledge has a significant effect on work motivation. 2) Skills have a significant effect on work motivation. 3) Knowledge does not have a significant effect on performance. 4) Skills have a significant effect on employee performance. 5) Work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance. 6) Knowledge does not have an indirect effect on employee performance mediated by work motivation. 7) Skills have an indirect effect on employee performance mediated by work motivation.

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, work discipline and work motivation on the performance of the state civil apparatus (ASN) in Tana Toraja district. This study uses descriptive and verification methods. The population in this study was part of the state civil apparatus (ASN) in Tana Toraja Regency, which amounted to 150 people. The sampling method is a purposive sampling. The type of data used is quantitative data collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the work environment, work discipline, and work motivation simultaneously have a direct, positive and significant effect on performance. The work environment has a direct, positive and significant effect on performance. Work discipline has a direct, positive and significant effect on performance. Work motivation has a direct, positive and significant effect on employee performance. The most dominant variable influencing the performance of the state civil service (ASN) in Tana Toraja Regency is work discipline.

The population of this study was 38 people, so the sampling method was using the census technique. Where all members of the population are sampled. data analysis tool using SmartPLS software version 3.3.7. From the results of the study, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Competence has a significant effect on Motivation 2) Compensation has no effect on Motivation 3) Competence has a significant effect on Performance 4) Compensation has no effect on Performance 5) Motivation has a significant effect on Performance 6) Competence has an indirect effect on Performance through Motivation 7) Compensation has no indirect effect on Performance through Motivation.

This study aims to determine the influence of recruitment and training on employee performance. Sampling method using saturated sample. Data were collected using the method of observation, interviews, and quitionaires. Respondents of the study by 55 employees at the PT. Most Blue Resort and Spa. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative analyses. The program were used to perform data analysis is SPSS version 22 for Windows. These results indicate that recruitmen effect on employee performance at  the PT. Most Blue Resort and Spa. Training effect on employee performance at  the PT. Most Blue Resort and Spa. Recruitment and training has a positive affect on employee performance at  the PT. Most Blue Resort and Spa.

This study aims to determine the effect of Teamwork, Internal Work Environment and Financial Compensation on Employee Performance at Sold Out Distro in Tulangan Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach method. Sampling in this study was carried out by non probability sampling method  with saturated sample technique with the number of respondents as many as 95 respondents who become employees at Sold Out Distro in Tulangan Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study uses multiple linear regression using the SPSS statistics version 25 program. The results of this study prove that Teamwork partially affect Employee Performance, Internal Work Environment partially affect Employee Performance and Financial Compensation partially affect Employee Performance.

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and organizational culture on employee performance at PT Citra Harapan Anugrah in Jakarta. This research was conducted with a probability sampling method with a simple random sampling type. Researchers distributed questionnaires to 52 employees of PT Citra Harapan Anugrah. Data analysis using Smart PLS analysis. The results of the analysis concluded that work motivation and organizational culture significantly influence the performance of employees of PT Citra Harapan Anugrah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Citra Harapan Anugrah di Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode probability sampling dengan jenis simple random sampling. Peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 52 karyawan PT Citra Harapan Anugrah. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Smart PLS. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Citra Harapan Anugrah.

This research is an expost facto research which aims to find out the exsistence of the mean difference between gender in terms of achievement, and investigate the variables predicting students’ achievement in literature study including the direct/indirect effect. This research involved 90 students established ramdomly as the sample. The research used the quantitative data analysis to analyze the mean difference between groups and the direct/indirect effect of the predictors. The result of this research shows that: (1) girls have higher achievement in literature study compared to boys; (2) the predictors that are statistically proven as a direct significant predictor of students’ final test score are gender, second dummy variable for class and mid-term test, while the rest of predictors (except the first dummy variable of class) contribute indirectly to the prediction of students’ achievement in literature study; and (3) the magnitude of the predictors might be different when they are applied in different classes.

This study aims to determine the effect of mutation issues, promotion issues, and other issues on the performance of the employees of the Panca Budi Medan University of Development. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that mutation, promotion, and organizational culture influence partially and simultaneously and on employee performance so that the variable that has a dominant effect on employee performance is promotion. The purpose of this study was to determine the direct and indirect effect of work experience variables and education level on performance benefits and employee performance. The population in this study were 248 employees at one of the Customs and Excise Offices in the Bekasi area. Based on the Slovin formula, the sample size of this study was 71 respondents. Sampling with probability sampling techniques, using simple random sampling method. Meanwhile, data analysis uses Path Analysis. Based on the research results, it shows that: work experience (X1) and education level (X2) have a direct and significant effect on performance allowance (Z). Work experience (X1) and education level (X2) have a direct and significant effect on employee performance (Y). And the performance allowance (Z) has a direct and significant effect on employee performance (Y).

Work is a mandatory thing that must be done to meet human needs. People work to make ends meet. One of the necessities of life can be fulfilled by means of income, namely wages or salaries. To get wages or salaries we are required to work professionally with the consequences of getting a bigger income. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the salary on work motivation and employee performance of UD. Sido Makmur Lumajang. population is all employees at UD. Sido Makmur Lumajang, as many as 35 employees. The sampling method used in this study was saturated samples. Methods of data analysis using Simple Linear Regression. The result of this research is that there is a relationship between salary and work motivation and employee performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance through organizational culture variables at the Pasuruan City Civil Service Police Unit. This research is an explanatory research (explanatory research) which aims to test the proposed hypothesis about the effect of motivation on employee performance and organizational culture. This study uses quantitative data analysis with path analysis and classical assumption test using non-probability sampling technique, namely saturated sampling (census). The population and sample in this study were all employees at the Pasuruan City Civil Service Police Unit with a total of 104 employees. From the results of this study indicate that (1) motivation has a direct and significant effect on employee performance, (2) motivation has a direct and significant effect on organizational culture, (3) organizational culture has a direct effect on employee performance, and (4) organizational culture can mediate indirectly between motivation and employee performance.
