In agricultural sector, generally farmer uses the traditional way of carrying a spray tank on his back and spray onto the crop. This is time consuming, costly and fatigue is also a major concern. These problems can be overcome by using a reciprocating multi sprayer. It facilitates uniform spread pesticides or insecticides. Precision made nozzle tip is used for adjustable stream capable of throwing foggy spray depending on the requirement. we use a slider crank mechanism to convert rotary motion into reciprocating motion to operate the pump. The pesticide is spread through the nozzle giving a continuous flow of pesticide at the required pressure. A special arrangement adjusts the pressure from low to high. We also use a weed cuter for removing the unwanted weeds. By using this agricultural sprayer, spraying time, weeding time and human efforts are reduced and resulting in cost reduction. Aim of the project is that the farmer need not carry the entire pesticide sprayer pump on his shoulders, but just pull/push the mechanism mounted on the trolley to operate the pump to spray. This makes the farmer feel more comfortable, relaxed and less tiresome by reducing human efforts due to the constant pumping action.

This article intends to verify the existence of strategic alignment between the operational sectors and the executive board of the company studied in relation to the logistic process of company Copagra of the Nova Londrina-PR. The theoretical reference describe about strategy and strategic alignment. The data collection was through semi-structured interview. Data processing occurred by agglutination of material collected according to the categories of analysis. The results tell that the agricultural sector seems aligned with the organizational objectives with respect to increase production capacity and strategic reduction of operational costs. Was also found indirect alignment with improving the quality of alcohol produced, increasing the efficiency of the fleet and improve operational efficiency. Alignment has not been found to meet alcohol specific market. Regarding the alignment distillery was found only in relation to meet specific markets of alcohol. Found was indirect alignment with the objective of improving operational efficiency. Was not found alignment with the objectives to increase production capacity, strategic cost reduction and increased efficiency of the fleet. This way it seems that agricultural sector seems more closely aligned with organizational objectives when compared to a distillery. The most relevant theoretical contributions are related the fact that organizational objetives can not be backed in any organization since the departamental objetices may not meet te organization´s objetives.

<p>This report describes a new route toward 1‑aminonorbornanes via strain-driven, visible light-mediated formal [3+2] cycloadditions with aminocyclopropanes. Lewis acidic salts (LiBF4, ZnCl2) were found to facilitate the oxidation of a variety of amine-containing heterocycles, and consequently, these additives led to improved conversion and isolated yields. This operationally-simple method tolerates a variety of functional handles (e.g. alcohols, protected amines), can generate optically-pure products through diastereoselective variations, and affords entry to unique chemical space through the diversity of accessible substitution patterns. Providing flexible access to 1-aminonorbornanes is expected to benefit modern drug design and development efforts seeking to incorporate more <i>sp3</i>-rich motifs into lead scaffods. Further, gram-scale operation proceeds smoothly in continuous flow, suggesting that this chemistry can be readily translated beyond the academic- or discovery-scales.</p>

This article describes a medical device uses precisely generated vibrations to obtain genetic material (sperm) in injured men, tetraplegics, and paraplegics. A significant advantage is the absence of general anesthesia of the patient. The DC motor of a medical device works with a safe voltage powered by rechargeable or AA cells. The principle of generation of vibration is a crank mechanism. Rotation of the flywheel is converted to rectilinear reciprocating motion. The amplitude is set in the range between 1–4 mm and the frequency is controlled by the RPM of the DC motor. If the stimulation will be followed preciously with the methodology, the process will be completed within 12 min from the beginning of stimulation. The success rate of the device is in the range between 65–85% depending on the patient’s condition and the extent of the spinal cord lesion. The measurement of sinusoidal oscillations was performed by using a stand in which the device was mounted. The amplitude was measured with an accelerometer and then mathematically converted by software Matlab and MS-Excel to the magnitude of the deviation in mm. Measurements have shown that the proposed design meets the requirements for amplitude and frequency.

Now days, increasing productivity is the main requirements in production engineering. This is possible by either reducing the operation time or by improving the efficiency of the machine. In the mass production, work pieces are machined simultaneously without any ideal time. This machine operates four hack saws simultaneously at the identical time. In this project the human effort is reduced by automating the hack saw machine, which performs less and easier operations of cutting the wood, metals and plastic materials. In This current research, a scotch yoke (Slotted link) mechanism is used to convert rotary motion of the pulley into the reciprocating motion of the hack saw frame to get the desired cutting action. Additionally, by keeping the Rheostat to the motor, the speed of hack saw frame is controlled according to the type of the work piece, and also the hack saw frame can be attached or removed when the work center is in ideal. Hence, by the four way hacksaw machine, the production rate can be increased and cost of labor also minimized.

An economic-engineering simulation model has been developed for a hypothetical textile mill operating an integrated, continuous-flow, tuft-to-yarn (TY) system. The model was used to calculate costs of producing cotton denim yarns with two different TY configuration mills. These were compared with a similar model for a conventional open-end (OE) textile mill processing the same product at similar production rates. The models predict that the TY mills will reduce production costs by between 4.11 and 6.2 cents per pound of spun yarn which amounts to a reduction of between 18.5 and 28 percent as compared with the conventional OE mill. Considering the raw materials’ cost as constant for all the models this processing cost reduction represents a total cost savings for the TY mills of between 4.8 and 7.3 percent of the total manufactured yarn costs.

Here designs innovatively a kind of NC light-load straight reciprocating motion device which has relative fully technical function. It is driven by a low-power servo motor to actuate small eccentricity crank mechanism to rotate or swing. The rotation or swing drives piston to move linearly short distance. With the help of the simple and functional device, the internal-reflux area-differential hydraulic stroke amplifying device, the small linear displacement of the piston can be amplified dozens times or even more than one hundred times, so the output plunger can obtain relative large linear displacement to meet the required output force and motion. This device of hydrau-electromechanial integration has the following advantages: (1) easy to control the frequency of straight reciprocating motion by editing the program to control the rotating/swing frequency of the servo motor; (2) easy to get the needed stroke of the output plunger by editing program to control the oscillation angle of the servo motor; (3) higher precision in motion and displacement than pneumatic/hydraulic transmission device while the same good buffering as in pneumatic/hydraulic transmission device.

Farmland consolidation is defined as the aggregation of farm lands that are fragmented and dispersed in agricultural sector with the aim of increasing their size for efficiency. The aim of study is to determine the effects of land consolidation practice and its impact on farmer satisfaction levels. Farmer satisfaction analysis was conducted on farmers which have land consolidation practice areas in different regions in Turkey. The data was obtained to be conducted from 1349 farmer interviews in 10 provinces by survey in 2015, and it was based on Likert scale that measured farmer satisfaction level. The data which is used in this analysis was tested by reliability analysis, and the results were obtained via factor analysis and logistic regression. It was found that has positive opinion on land consolidation over 87 percent of farmers, and also was recommended these practices to other farmers. Moreover, the results showed that the important ones from effective factors on farmer satisfaction can be listed as follows: cost reduction, decreasing conflicts between farmers, irrigation and drainage efficiencies, having confidence in technical staff, and facilitating agricultural works.
